This girl is definitely a genius. With all her practical experience she now knows exactly what she is doing.
She got dirty from taking it apart and putting it back together and I think she is simply an amazing woman there's not many people who take pride or the time it takes to what is necessary to make things look 100% better than they were let alone do or make something even new things with the proper time and patience that she has. I know young people an old alike that would only do a halfway job to just get it done. So my hat's off to her for what she does. You are probably correct, I am just a DIY mechanic and she appears like she knows more than me about mechanical work. However don't you need to torque down any nuts and bolts on a motor cycle. I have watched some of her other videos and have noted that very few spring washers have been used, and how strong she is, and never has too much trouble removing old rust nuts and bolts. She certainly does make it look very easy. Especially the way she uses her tools.@@hdvictoryford5329

Lin, the front tire is on backward. That is a directional tire for control in the water or wet conditions and because it is on backward, it may make the bike get squirrelly if the roads are wet. She also painted the brake rotor. I hope no one rides it because the front brake will fail after 2 or three uses. Plus the bearings in the case were never cleaned after sitting in water forever so they will fail also.

nice job lady! very impressive! we have same job, i also restore bikes old and newer ones, from engine overhaul to wirings to chassis and fairings, single cylinders to v2, v4's and inline4's. good job making the engine the first priority when you dismantled the bike, then the electricals. only difference is the painting method, i'm a bit more detailed on paint jobs, i remove all stickers and use urethane only primers to paints to clear coat. keep up the good work, you have lots of knowledge to share.

EXCELLENT work!! My husband is a motorcycle mechanic, I built BMX bikes for our sons and both of us were impressed by her attitude, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
One small detail: *PLEASE WEAR A HELMET when you ride!!* Even the world's best mechanic can't fix a broken brain.
I'm always fascinated by her work. As a long time restorer of motorcycles, cars, outboards, lawnmowers, etc. etc. I can appreciate her knowledge and strength! That motorcycle engine wasn't light! A couple of issues. The rust on the crankshaft and connecting rod could indicate big end and crankshaft bearing issues. To be sure she should have split the cases and at least inspected them for pitting on balls/rollers and races. As a general observation, I've watch many of her videos and she works bare handed with parts cleaner which is probably some hydrocarbon. This will damage her skin (if it dissolves grease it will dissolve skin oils) and could cause cancer. Wear a some gloves to protect yourself.
At least she wears gloves when paint stripper.

I watched this video from the beginning to the end and the one thing that I noticed was that she never got her hands dirty. Imagine taking apart a motorcycle engine full of grease and oil and dirt and not getting your hands dirty. Seems very strange to me. She seems to me to be very competent, but I think she gets a lot of help from others.
I saw dirt on her hands but it disappeared in the next shot. I think she washed her hands frequently.
@@manolisgledsodakis873 I'm talking about Grease, black grimy Grease, something that always leaves some kind of residue on your hands, auto mechanics have hands that never get perfectly clean. Also, what about her perfectly groomed fingernails, absolutely no dirt under the fingernails. I've never seen a mechanic with long fingernails that are perfectly clean. I have major doubts if this girl really does this kind of mechanical work and that it is only done for the cameras.
If I was frequently repositioning my camera, I too would frequently wash my hands. I use neat surfactants which milk with grease and oil in seconds, defatting but leaving skin stain free. Nothing special.
@@sproston3695Ever notice that some people will argue the obvious? I’ve watched a few other of her rebuild videos and noticed how little dirt and grease she gets on her hands or clothes. I also find it hard to believe how easy everything comes apart being all rusty and corroded. 😅

Just watch one of her full length videos where she rewinds electric motors and tell me she's an actress. She may not have all the factory tools, torque settings or brand new parts and gaskets etc. But she gets the job done through dedication and perseverence, which I'm sure is alot more than you do sitting in your armchair criticising.
