  • If you’ve ever dreamed of being a silent movie star, here’s how to make that dream come true! This VideoStudio project tutorial will show you how to create an old-fashioned, silent movie style of film using your own footage. You’ll learn how to speed up your clips, how to add title slates, and how to use filters to get the old, scratchy, jittery look of a silent movie.

This tutorial is extremely helpful! I found it very simple to follow and I am a complete novice - first time ever using software like this. This video was invaluable in helping me make an instructional video for my job in a silent film style. Thank you!

It's unfortunate that VideoStudio isn't more user friendly. Even this tutorial was so confusing with its jumping back and forth that I wasn't sure that the person making the video even knew how to use the program.

Video studio is as user friendly as it gets. Maybe you should start off with Video Editor. That's the name of the free basic editing program available inside windows. It's great for slide shows. A child could master it in a day. With that understanding under your belt Video Studio becomes much easier to understand.

I'm NOT "starting off", I used Vegas Pro for years and it worked beautifully until it fell into the hands of Corel. We lost a great product when Corel decided to destroy the competition.@@sentry8992
