This honestly could have been the storage unit of one of the ORIGINAL MACHINTOSH programmers! This could be worth thousands if you get the right auction company!
The guy was a programmer on the Apple IIGS. That rare crystal Apple is proof. This is likely a fairly significant find. The rom chips and programmers contain beta and experimental code. Dude ….
Hi Wade Ashley you could donate some of those photos to a museum. I was looking on RUclips I came across a lady demonstrating a new computer system it looked just like the one you had the unit. Her name was Susan Kare. I'm a UK pensioner so I have a lot spare time. My son has a lot of boxes of computer stuff stored in my shed and quite a few discs as well.😊
That crystal Apple is quite rare and issued to developers on the Macintosh IIGS. You have some incredibly valuable artifacts from an actual Apple developer.
42:51 Yes! Roseville is a very good Ohio vintage pottery brand. Very nice quality, big and heavy bread making bowl ( or anything you want bowl!) I had one but I think I donated mine when I moved one time. 👍
Oh, how I miss living in the PNW! I'm in Nashville now and I love watching your videos! You are one of the two storage locker channels that I watch. No cussing, no growling, and you both always have such an upbeat attitude, no matter what the unit looks like. This one is a WIN!!
@@loislynncameron9608 It's gorgeous!! We used to run along the Gorge and go to Multnomah Falls. We were also about 2 hours from the ocean. It was amazing! Oh and hello neighbor!
Wade, at timestamp 1:31:58, you removed 2 boards from the box that also contained a few materials or manuals for those particular boards. But you took out the boards and placed them on top of another box and put their box to the rt side of b the work table. It looks as though the guy who once owned these items has very carefully put each item together with it's own operating manual. I was just thinking that it might be a good idea to keep them together for maybe a better chance of selling each grouping. Good luck 👍
I would die for these albums. From my era. Mades me cry with happiness and joy and sadness. Loves of my life. Please respond! I am not a person of means so please make me an affordable offer. Please!!! I love you Wade and Ashley and Grandma Venture, you’re all great. Love watching your channel!
Ashley is saying don't be prematurely cocky...lol 😂 Books are so awesome I'd love to have a room of nothing but books especially older books. ❤😊 The Avr is about 95.00 to 129.00. Some great Record Albums in there, wow. Good unit ya'll. 👍
Nobody probably like the couch in the back but it is a fairly decent mission style couch. I know because I have the same here. When I bought it I had a different fabric put on. Still looks good after 20 plus years. Hang in there Wade and Ashley 😊
Oh goody...I get to watch you as I'm cleaning up the dinner dishes...makes that task a little more pleasant. 👍 And that vintage MAC! Great score! I've sold two different "not vintage" MACS over the years and if they're in good condition they always sell for a good price and should sell pretty quickly too. So if the one you've got works, it should fetch a really nice price! Good luck! And congrats on another great storage unit! 🎉
I love all the old photos. I remember when they came in pretty folders like some of those. Hang them on your wall & you have instant ancestors! LOL Actually the family would probably like those back .... photos of their own ancestors. Yes, lots of people watch (and buy) DVDs!! Roseville Ohio is known for pottery! And that 1700s book is a treasure! Keep it carefully.
I have that large one of the Pyrex bowls that was my Mom's. Would have loved the whole set. What an amazing bunch of "ephemra" loved those old pictures.
The Sun Unix workstations are from the early 90s. They would have run Solaris. I don't think they're old enough to have value as antiques. Second box of electronics looks like test equipment. The Zip Drive disks are definitely from the 90s, and the books are from the same era. The Harmon is also pretty much obsolete - those old A/V receivers predated HDMI. That is a very early Mac, maybe late 80s - might be worth serious money. The second Mac, the G3, is a little later, still worth something. I laughed when you didn't recognize the 4th Grateful Dead record. I can recognize every record just from the cover - it's really strange you haven't heard of artists everybody knew. Jackson Brown sold like 20 million copies. The records are pretty saleable. The Power Mac 7600 isn't worth much - not old enough to be a valuable antique. I think the old Mac software would do better as a lot on eBay - somebody will want it. The artwork is cheap decor stuff from a housewares store. The signed photos are nice, but those players are from long ago. Interestingly, Pete Ward lived until 2022. The other photos from before WWII are very collectible and sell well. You didn't even really look at the Freak Brothers comics, but they might be originals worth $$$$. Yep, some sell in the thousands, better get them bagged and boarded! The motherboard in a display case is really something - maybe the first Mac motherboard? 1983 would have been pre-release. Maybe somebody will buy it for $1 million! The Gruen watch is probably $500-1500, depending on the exact model. You found an Apple Lisa pin, but no actual Apple Lisa computer.
I miss Sears...and those Craftsman tools were the best...I know the tool dept was a "guy haven" but I always enjoyed browsing through there too. Who of a certain age, watching this vid doesn't have at least a few fond memories of shopping at Sears? The washer and dryer we have now is a Kenmore...had them for like 6-7 years. They've been cranking along with no problems. The sales guy said they were made by LG. I think the store where we bought them (Bethesda, Md) closed a year or two after that. Such an American retail landmark. Sad.😢
Hi, those sterling shakers were (are) for pepper. Salt is in a low, shallow open rimmed dish and scooped out with little teeny tiny sterling spoons. Makes a very elegant table.
Seriously… “WHO BUYS THE BEST STORAGE UNITS???” Wow! You may want to contact an auction house about auctioning these items at a very high value!!!! The Mac items would have an exceptional provenance, and maybe the hockey, too! I think the old Mac software can be super valuable because people like to restore their older systems back to “like new” condition, and need to do so without connecting to the internet (because that messes things up). Anyway, I really don’t know, but I remember hearing something about this, I think.
As I am watching your video about computers, I kept thinking computer museums, so I googled it, and there are actually computer museums! I looked up where are their computer museums?? I just thought that was interesting and I thought I would pass that along.
*Those framed gold etchings of different harbours are by Lionel Barrymore. Actor who played Mr. Potter in 'It's a Wonderful Life'. He is also Drew Barrymore's great-uncle.*
Hi Wade Ashley really enjoyed this video. I'm from the UK. My son is a programmer. You should do a bit of research about some of those computer things that you have good luck
the medallions in the lock box go with the Joe Del Monte picture. He played for the Portland Eagles in 47-48. That motherboard in the shadowbox, you might not want to give that to your father in law. It could be worth $300K-900K or more.
Those motherboards are worth more than you think! Each contain gold and silver. Plus, the intellectual memory behind Mac. You literally landed on a goldmine! Don't sell on market. Contact someone at Apple and see what they're willing to pay, as this is proprietary and they wouldn't want it in someone else's hands.
True about the gold but takes work. My brother does it and because it's not stamped it sells as 10k or specific gold recyclers will pay better $. In Canada anyway.
Those old signed pictures could be put in sports museum. That book from the 1700!'s was obviously something. That gold watch! Wow! That gold coin looked big!! Gold and Silver will be gaining even more pretty soon. Hang on to it. What a Terrific Unit. 🎉Congratulations.
Hi Wade and Ashley. I'm Lori. I just LOVE all of you. Grandma Ventures is hilarious ! I watch you guys a lot. I just watched the unit with all brand new stuff. I am interested in 5 bottles of red polish and a couple sheet sets. Queen. A purple set and a red set. How much will that be please ? And anything free. I love stuff. Let me know. Yes Wade, you pick the best units. You rock. Love y'all. Let me know k.
I was awooga eye balls 👀👀all the way through this locker. The mug that looked late 70s with steve on it!! The paperweight i guess you'd get 1000 dollars for that as a newer version worth. 500+ That motherboard is priceless. To be honest it was like looking through Steve Jobs garage. I would pass all the photos back to family great uncles, great great uncle so and so... proud to have hockey history in the family it educates the younger gen in their family. Guys seriously you did great. 🎉✌🏻🤘🏻I hope you make a big profit on these or start up a computer museum charge 5 dollar entry. Keep it up guys im hooked
The watch is very nice. It probably is gold. Can I have one from back in the day. That was made with gold you open the inside and it should have serial numbers. Good unit .who picks the Best unit, 😂
Old computers and software can be expensive, retro is in. The stuff is getting harder and harder to find now days. Old roms could be experimental. You have some important stuff.
At 46.50 that looks like an apple double floppy disk drive for the old 8 inch floppy disk. One floppy would have the program on it and the other was to store your work on.
Bubble lights with box are worth $$. The magnifying pieces and the one on her head are for doing fine work like him working and welding computer parts.
The dinner service marked Queen Elizabeth is made by Coalport China in the UK. It could be very valuable. I believe it was designed for her coronation in 1952., but don’t quote me on that.
Ashley knows her stuff! So smart!!!!!!
So glad to see Ashley!
It's so great to have a long video. Much better than anything on TV. Thanks so much! Glad y'all are back 😊
So glad you two are back, love your videos and, "I know who buys the best storage units" Take care
This honestly could have been the storage unit of one of the ORIGINAL MACHINTOSH programmers! This could be worth thousands if you get the right auction company!
🤔💭yep...I was thinking the same thing🤩👍✨️
Yep do your research before you sell
The guy was a programmer on the Apple IIGS. That rare crystal Apple is proof. This is likely a fairly significant find. The rom chips and programmers contain beta and experimental code. Dude ….
Don’t discard notes & computer books that might contain notes. I totally agree. Do your research before you start selling things.

Thank you Kathy! We appreciate the support
Love, love the chef picture. I need that. I have the other pieces to it.
Oh, how I miss living in the PNW! I'm in Nashville now and I love watching your videos! You are one of the two storage locker channels that I watch. No cussing, no growling, and you both always have such an upbeat attitude, no matter what the unit looks like. This one is a WIN!!
I live in Bowling Green - Just an hour north of y'all. Never been to the PNW.

I agree Ashley…Hat Trick! Love it!

Yes Wade you buy the best units! Those albums are GOLD . The computer are old and in such awesome shape.
So glad to see you two back! Your family is my favorites
Thank you, Beth!
I love how you guys always make me feel part of your family. Like I'm there too lol thank you
Yes they do ! You put into words how I feel also !!

Thanks for the love!

We are happy for you you are not gloating. You work hard for your money. Go Wade
That MacWorld magazine with Steve Jobs on the cover is the 1st/Premier issue is worth anywhere from $75-350 bucks.
Nobody probably like the couch in the back but it is a fairly decent mission style couch. I know because I have the same here. When I bought it I had a different fabric put on. Still looks good after 20 plus years. Hang in there Wade and Ashley 😊
That sofa is wonderful.
The Apple Mackintosh was my first exposure to a computer. I typed my first resume on one of these thirty-some years ago. Lots of memories.
Same here. Sold in on eBay back in 2007 ish. Same one Wade just found.
Same here! We didn't have one. Went to a friend's house and typed my resume.
GRUEN is an excellent watch maker!!
Likely $ 350 - 150
you did choose one of the best units Wade, we will adopt you, havent got a clue how much the postage to England is😆😆😆
I have gained some weight recently
You have some great records there.
Ashley you're there to read things as Wade gets to excited 😂
Oh goody...I get to watch you as I'm cleaning up the dinner dishes...makes that task a little more pleasant. 👍 And that vintage MAC! Great score! Wow, Pyrex heaven...the Wheat set of 4 almost half your locker cost right there!❤❤❤
All the albums have a big value
You have to take care of the albums their value besides the history is the condition

Thanks, Nancy I appreciate you
I love the big paper cutter.
Great unit guys.
Those little salts would have been for individual place settings on a spectacular dinner table
Hi, those sterling shakers were (are) for pepper. Salt is in a low, shallow open rimmed dish and scooped out with little teeny tiny sterling spoons. Makes a very elegant table.
I would love the small kaleidoscope, please

You are the best Wade. You make the show!
❤️❤️
Finally a whole video.
One of those rare units where I feel like I knew the person who owned it-or I wish I had known them.
Very cool unit.
Amazing unit😮
Sending you love from England 🇬🇧 ❤
I've seen those Pyrex bowls sell for over a $1,000 a set! Wish I would still have my original set from 1965!!!!
A lot of those old clicky keyboards can go for a lot of money. I hope you looked them up.
Wow Ashley. You picked a fantastic unit. I know it's worth maybe 100 thousand dollars of stuff
You’re right!
Nice albums!!!
Great finds. But lack knowledge after doing this for years lol. Why I love second cents. Informed know history and value. But I love your videos.
I live in Ohio. Roseville pottery is popular around here. That bowl is beautiful.
Hi Wade Ashley really enjoyed this video. I'm from the UK. My son is a programmer. You should do a bit of research about some of those computer things that you have good luck
I definitely will Janice. Thank you. ❤️

I love the mail box ❤ where will that be sold at ????
Coalport is the maker on that dinner set!!!
Wade you got the best unit this time👍👍👍🍎
Thanks, Patty. I appreciate you.

I am so much older than you two. I used to have a Kodak camera like the one you found.
Some of that old puter stuff is worth lots on cash! Good job guys!
The Portland historical society might be interested in some of those old photos.
all antiques should be put to auction. Especially any of apple.
Now who buys the best storages!!! ❤️❤️
Everything that glitters isn’t gold 😮
And one bad Apple don't spoil the whole bunch
The watch is very nice. It probably is gold. Can I have one from back in the day. That was made with gold you open the inside and it should have serial numbers. Good unit .who picks the
Best unit, 😂
I am always excited when I see a video.
Yes, we can see it! Cool!
The style of the arms on the sofa looks like it comes from the arts and crafts movement in the early 1900s - so you might have an antique sofa there !
Old computers and software can be expensive, retro is in. The stuff is getting harder and harder to find now days. Old roms could be experimental. You have some important stuff.
I’m excited too❤
BLack Sabboth is Ozzy Osborn’s first band he was in .

Cool shirt Wade yr wearing 😎 love you guys Donna,Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️
Good to see you back🎉
In all the years I have been watching him, he has rarely broken a think 🥰
❤️ 💯
Wades and Ashley, take all those hockey photos call hockey hall of fame see if they would like them. They probably know all those people.
Wade I enjoy when you mangle brand names
The coins from France and cross necklace from Italy plus the navy pictures would indicate the guy was in WWII. Interesting piece of history there!
And the gold Venice photos!😲
Antiques !!
NHL started in Montreal in 1917 and was extended in 1920 in the USA…. 😊
YAY! Finally a full video 😎
The dinner service marked Queen Elizabeth is made by Coalport China in the UK. It could be very valuable. I believe it was designed for her coronation in 1952., but don’t quote me on that.
The plastic cases on those Macs discoloured badly I remember when our office got the jewel coloured cases made the area look fab !
Who in the world could that watch still be ticking?❤❤❤❤😊
