Margo is a native of the music city of Memphis, Tennessee.
She discovered she had a gift for writing lyrics, especially in the world of Christian Contemporary Music, and was encouraged to explore this gift by people in the music industry. She focuses on lyrics that express the love and grace of Jesus and draws her greatest inspiration in the pages of the Bible.
She collaborates with singer/songwriters from around the world and has been blessed to receive recognition for her lyrics by music industry professionals.
Her song "Finally Free" won a national Honorable Mention "Music Hustler" award. It also earned top rankings in different categories on Broadjam:
