When i was accommodated by the state in a hostel i along with any other Irish person was charged 80 euro a week for the bed.. no breakfast lunch dinner included no wifi tv any entertainment just a single bed in a room with 4 or 5 other single bed. In the day room there was a bookshelf with old books and papers and a kettle. We all chipped in for a small tv. Guess what?? We were happy and made no demands because we were happy to have a semi warm bed at night. We had to leave at 10 am every morning and weren't allowed back until 6 so you had to wander the street for 8 hours which was annoying but guess what?? We were grateful because we had nowhere else. These people aren't desperate nor grateful for all they free stuff they get. When we were all eventually put out because the owners took on a contract to house these within one week wifi pool tables televisiona and a cafe style room were all added. I was told this and shown pictures by one of the night staff who became a good friend to me. They are served 3 meals a day plus and recieved weekly visits from a nurse and workers to help them get their dole and accommodation.... so in a nut shell we were grateful to be treated like shit and these get treated like kings and aren't. Its a disgrace and im so happy i was able to fix my life and sort things out because i had no choice... i didn't have anywhere to go anymore because all the homeless shelters for the Irish in my town have been converted to ipas or Ukrainian centres. All have been refurbished after we all got the boot to 5 star accommodation some even have gyms and recreational areas... i wish i could show people the difference we had in treatment by the state. I was someone that really needed support at that time like so many others but there was never any money for it but then all of a sudden millions upon millions was spent to take care of people like this almost overnight. It makes me absolutely sick. Since all this happened 3 of the former residents i was in with are dead... now im not saying it was related but it certainly could have played a factor because they lost their beds to this lot. Nobody gave a shit when they died or when we all lost our place. This is the faith of 1000s of our own people around this country some who dont have voices anymore. We have to stop this and hold people accountable.

I will pretend ive eaten so they eat until they're satisfied. Im 34 and feel like a failure as we are even stuck in a one bed flat. Yet these people have zero shame and the cheek to act the way they do. Im embarrassed even writing this.

At 1.03 of the video is a different migrant centre in Ballyogan, Dublin, that lad in the blue jacket with hood up was too violent for the staff an other migrants so they had to call the garda to remove him.
