This Kursk style attack is failing and soon Erdogan has to decide to either keep supporting the terrorists holed up in Idlib or let them rot as the Syrian and Russian decide to end this once and for all. Maybe this is Erdogan's way of getting rid of the Idlib liability by allowing this attack to happen, the Syrian-Russian-Turkish truce that lasted for about five years is essentially null and void. Erdogan is one not to be trusted and so perhaps its the Idlib terrorists that have been betrayed.

There were so many good people just trying to live good lives in beautiful cities with such hospitality and kindness though our presence could be complicated for them under Assad Sr. Regime. There was deep gratitude for the relative peace of that time. They valued education for their children and proved this continuing education at great risk, underground, throughout the incredibly violent war. My heart breaks for them, the victims of those who would bomb and strafe people’s homes and towns over their power grabs. I noticed how many young children there were after this decade of quiet for them and knew, this like in Bosnia could be dangerous for their country in 20 years and sadly, it played out this way, fodder for their war plans coming of age.

All this will do is remove one dictator and replace them with another that may be more extreme towards the west.
