Great your enjoying Jakarta 😊 If your going to Lombok the Gili Islands are worth visiting, there are three small pearls of paradise, although now very popular with the backpacking crowd. Though it’s the place for partying. Also I loved Yogyakarta, in Central Java, I went by train. The trains are very good, some are luxurious now. The Malls are incredible in Jakarta, especially Central Park Mall. I also went to Lake Toba on the island of Sumatra, it was about 15 years ago, there is a small island in the middle of the largest freshwater lake in S.E.Asia with its own tribe of people and culture ❤. Every Sunday mourning in Jakarta, they close the Main Street, if you research it’s a fun thing to do!

Jakarta is exiting cheap fun and full of good food and good people.
One of the real turn offs is really the mosques that play call to prayer REALLY SUPER ROCKCONCERT HIGH so forget sleeping certain times or have a calm quiet time. and many of the mosques aren't synchronized and recites different prayers and things..some evenup to a HOUR .
I read that even some Indonesian Muslims started to get annoyed about the speakers because they inflict and disturbs their prayer time..
