Really nice route. Takes me back a few years. I stopped scrambling for a while after I had kids but now they are getting older I'm getting itchy feet. I think this video captures why people love the mountains so much. Thanks for sharing.
@@donuttime2507 it's probably a bit tougher than the CMD arete to be honest. The fin is a bit exposed. Maybe some lighter stuff might be preferable first, especially if you struggle with exposure. Maybe Ben cruachan? It has a bit of a grade 1 scramble up to the summit, or stuck a chrion is the same. Cheers.
Wow nice rout never heard of this way up. Looking to climb the Ben soon might consider this rout. Thx for the share Subscribed good video by the way 👍🏔

Thanks for sharing, I’m planning on doing this in July for my first ascent of Ben Nevis.
Did this in the snow and honestly thought was going to die 😂 first mountain climb. Took us 5 hours to get to the summit. 9.5 to get back to the car
Just done the CMD route think I might do this next. Class video
Great video, thanks, used it as a guide on my phone today to climb the route, was actually a bit easier than I was expecting.
Glad it helped!
@@ianshaw6112 Is this easier than the arete? I've done the tourist route but I'm petrified of exposure so not sure if I could do this?

done it via cmd twice at the young age of 60 and 62, this will be my 1st mountain at 64 this video has triggered the wee voice telling me to go
Excellent views 🎉
A great day for it. The music seemed apt and definitely added to the video. Not always keen on music background but this time it seemed just right.
Looks doable. I think your camera makes it look more steep? I think I will skip the ledge though.
Nice vlog , but i hate music banging on in the background
Your castle ridge vidoe was much better, much less use of the go pro. However, wonderful videos just the same.
Looks a canny scramble
