- I did a very short crash comparison between WRC 10 and Dirt Rally 2.0 before, this one is long overdue but here is a detailed video putting WRC 10 vs Dirt Rally 2.0 in terms of sound, graphic and effects.
Cars Used: Citroen C3 Rally2 in WRC 10 and Citroen C3 R5 in Dirt Rally 2.0.
Graphic settings = All Maxed Out in Both Games
Damage Setting = Realistic & Highest in Both Games

The fact that even after years, all latest rally games are compared to dirt rally 2.0 is proof itself of what the game is capable of. Undoubtedly one of the best rally games of all times.
Is it me or Dirt 2.0 is missing some sounds? I mean sometimes i clip guardrails, or crash stuff at full speed, or rollover repeatedly, and such operations (which should be loud to them) only male a noise 5 time out of 10. It happened on xbox one s and xbox series x
I'm playing both on xbox series x. On some videos I saw a graphic option for wrc 10 which can enable 3 different rendering settings, but I cant see it in my menu... any clue why?
The lighting is spectacular in WRC10 but everything else ESPECIALLY the sound in DR2 just holds up so well years later. Dirt 5 was absolute garbage i can't wait for a DR3.0 on PS5
I heard codemasters got the wrc license for 2023 so hopefully we get a really great DR3.0

I feel that if kt played around with the sounds and made them less muted and dense the game could sound and feel a lot nicer to play. Also they should aim to make the damage model more similar to Wrc 8
Just purchased wrc10 for ps5 for 11$ definitely not worth the 11$ hands down 2.0 still holds up as the best in my opinion for rally.
Do you have a wheel set up guide for dirt 2.0 mate?
no sorry mate I have one for WRC 10 though, not playing DR2 much so can't give a good informative setup guide for that one for now
the only thing I don't like about DR2 are the replays, specifically the camera angles.
like shown here 8:33 you often do not even see the car or the camera is so far away, that you don't even see what happens, or (with helicopter cam) there are trees blocking the view...

Let's face it, there's no comparison. DR2.0 is in a whole different category. KT's WRC games are indie games compared to DR2.0. They have the official WRC license, and yet they haven't even modeled the cars and tires acurately. Garbage. I hope they lose the license soon.

@@SpearfishingWalrus thank fuck this Nancon company who have been making the official wrc for so many years now are utter shite they are french though so can’t expect too much, codemasters the ones who make Grid and F1 will do a much better job

yes it has the better look and sound for sure , I am not sure why I am playing WRC , something about the FFB and physics in it keeps me playing ))
Looks better, plays better, sounds better. DR2.0 does everything better.

I wanted to make it side by side like my previous comparison video for PC3 and assetto corsa, but they don't have exact same tracks and stages so separated them and the thumbnail I have from a year ago if you are referring to your comparison video? seriously not intended to copy yours mate, comparisons have similar aspects to compare , sounds , graphic etc

The physics look so horrible on wrc compared to dirt 2.0. There’s not even any comparison to be made

Only thing dirt does better is sound, and car damage, and damage only slightly.
Have you played wrc 10? Absolutely horrendous just requested a refund, currently downloading dirt 2.0 to see if it’s better
