    Not really going down a size ,zillas run 25.75" - 1.25" smaller than the advertised 27" at 8psi. Just oicked up some kenda HTR' which are awesome. I got the XT-R but really wish I could have gotten my hands on a 19 cuz I love that color !
    Grab a EHS tuner , it'll cool the machine down big time

      @@quadmania59 absolutely. These machines run super lean from the factory for emissions. Get the EHS tuner and block the AIS at the airbix and you're good to go !

    Hey I like them bars , what bars & or risers you have on that .
    I just got a 2021 Kodiak 700 eps SE.

      The bars on the Grizzly are stock. I personally run the RoxSpeedFx kit on my Kodiak.

    Do you think 12'' wheels handle better for all around trail riding? I want a 2022 grizzly and prefer the color on the HTR/SE models, but not sure about the 14'' wheels and mud lite tires. I don't see a lot of mud, mostly hard pack.

      Hey, sorry for the delay. I do feel the 12" wheels ride better. More resistant to puncture as well. If you get into an HTR/SE, I would recommend putting a set of 26x12's on immediately. That is for sure the biggest downfall of those models.

    May I ask why you picked up this machine in addition to your modded Kodiak?

    Kind of shocked the 686 you feel has more torque than the 708?

    • @quadmania59
      @quadmania59  4 года назад

      How come? The 708 motor experiences crazy bog in the low end. It's power ban then comes in the mid range. This was one of the reasons Yamaha went back to the 686, along with reliability. The clutch kit in the 708 helps accommodate the torque loss but the 686 still has a little more pep. Depends what you are looking for.

      @@quadmania59 I thought one of the reasons they went to the 708 was more torque off the line. Thats cool though the 686 is an awesome engine. I love the new Grizz and Kodiaks.

      @@rzl07375 I believe the 708 has more "power" but 686 has more torque/low end. Both are great motors in my opinion.
