What a pleasure it is to listen to an articulate Canadian political figure who has a brain between his ears, knows how not only access it but how to use it well when he does. It is actually soothing to hear Poilievere speak without having to smile his way through an interview and use filler words uh, ah, hum that have so torturous to listen to over the Trudeau years. At the end of the interview I felt a sense of confidence that he has a sound economic plan for the country and he realizes that Trump is a tough negotiator with a vast amount of experience gained in private business and dealing with some very difficult people in a challenging location, New York . But having said that, he has also observed that he is not impossible to deal with if you come from a position of strength and respect. He understands that Trump has no time for grandstanding weaklings who are less than sincere about the interests of their country before their own. Or the what’s in it for me and how much can I get out of it mentality. The other thing is and probably the most important one about Poilievere, is that he has absolutely no skills as a drama teacher! 😀 certainly solid plus for Canada I believe!
It was a pleasure listening to TWO Canadians having on intelligent conversation Mr. Peterson comes from small town of Grand Prairie, Alberta A year or so ago, Justin was telling him that Jordan will have to go to reeducation /Gullag or he will lose his professional licence.
It drives me insane when I read, watch or hear people (Liberals, NDP etc.) talk down about Pierre and his policies, ministers and plan. I don't know what you are watching, reading or listening to but wow I find him very very impressive....
.Your grasp on the word “policy” is rather loose. He has yet to express any sort of policy. He has yet to present a costed platform. I’ll cut him some slack in that regard as the election campaign is not underway in earnest. Meanwhile, he’ll pseudo campaign on the taxpayer dime.
PP is a master communicator. He works very hard on what he says and how he says it. He is also a calm and rational defender of the truth as he sees it.
@ I would never say that Mr. Poilievre is anything other than highly intelligent and a skilled debater. As for carefully crafting his message, you couldn’t be more right. He is an absolute master at driving wedges between people. It’s his supporters that are the unintelligent ones, not him.
Thanks for putting this up - it's such a fantastic part of the interview!!!! Can't get enough of hearing intelligent, common sense remarks from a politician. FINALLY. Lord help us get PP voted in to be Canada's next PM🙏
As I have been saying from back when he first ran for leader of the party. Pierre will make a wonderful and level-headed Prime Minister who will look out for the best interests of Canada and her people. And I certainly will NOT hesitate to say it Again.
I'm from Buffalo NY and my family and I love Canada we go all the time! I’ve been to Toronto and Canada more times than I have NYC. Glad there will be someone smart running your country!
Love Poilievre!! I'm not Canadian, but I can tell a real, common sense, winner when I see one. I've been following him for 2 years! Not only does he understand liberals & Trudeau, he understands Trump--he especially understands that Trump doesn't mind everyone winning!! Trump is just not going to allow America to take the back seat anymore--just like Poilievre will not put Canadians last anymore! In that, they've found their common ground!! Godspeed, Poilievre!! God Bless Canada and the USA!!
Poilievre makes sense regarding "value added". We did the same thing with our lumber. We sold the trees to the americans and then bought back paper for our newspapers.
Also; Isn't it nice to hear a genuine man speak? Pierre Poilievre speaks with one voice and it is concise, intelligent, sincere and most importantly in direct reference to the question presented to him! Trudeau has two voices: his pre-written and well rehearsed speech (remember, his only training is in acting), and his non-rehearsed speech in which he "ah" "uhms" and "ahhs" all the way through it. Justin Trudeau is duplicitous.
Neither Canada nor the US are democracies. Canada is Constitutional Monarchy, and a Confederacy. The US is a Federation and a Constitutional Republic. We have swung Liberal, but we weren’t founded liberal. We only play lip service to democracy. We vote for mayors, premiers and prime ministers. We don’t get to vote on who is in the cabinets, and we got no vote on any bills being passed.
There's 60,000 "workers" at the Canada Revenue Agency. Get rid of income tax in any form, including a flat tax on income and replace it. No reporting of income means that at least 55,000 of those 60,000 CRA jobs will be gone. Job done.
More importantly, the degree of potential prosperity would be insane. Small and medium sized companies would cease to struggle, companies could afford to lower prices and not take a loss, over time one could expect prices to go down gradually as businesses undercut each other. The other thing to do would be to get rid of regulations that act as forms of corporate protectionism and stifles competition. Building refineries and power plants that are cost effective using the latest more cost effective and reliable technologies including waste management - for example, there is a uranium rod recycling plant in France, why not set up one in Canada where all of the uranium is mined and it can be put out in the middle of nowhere anyway from human civilization, the uranium and other products can be refined out and new rods made to be shipped back to the power plants - apparently most of the uranium is recyclable. I could also see the return of manufacturing to Canada, the only reason it ever went to China was the cost of doing business over there was cheaper than in the US. At the moment those companies in China are moving to Malaysia as wages are lower thee. Could you imagine if we could set up a system where people could be prosperous, where the cost of doing business is cheap yet people could still do well financially. Done correctly this is possible, especially if we get rid of all the extra fees that governments charge for no reason.
@@wendellmacgillivary3138 One of the planks of Marx & Engels' Communist Manifesto is the implementation of a heavy and graduated income tax. It's about control and wealth re-distribution. "From each according to his ability; to each according to his need." Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote in The Gulag Archipelago, not to partake in the lie. He was right, of course. His resistance took courage and he was imprisoned for it. What would you do?
Or maybe just a 5% tax on gross income across the board, no deductions or exemptions (maybe that is a flat tax?) - make it simple so everyone can figure it out themselves. That pesky GST/PST/HST thing should be rolled into it for even greater simplicity.

You did people a real favour in showing on RUclips the last part of the ‘Jordan & Pierre interview’! You’re right, how people speak to one another is VERY important; and, an ATTITUDE of well-founded respect is edifying to both parties and provides a mutual POSITIVE base on which to build-so important in politics where outcomes matter! KUDOS!
This is exactly what I 'assumed' an intelligent man like Poilievre would do. It's just the feeling that I have received by watching & listening to all of his Conservative members. Now, I highlighted the word 'assumed' because we both know what the conjecture of that word is, so thank you very much Clinton for showing us this clip of the interview that confirms my assumptions!

What he said about Canada selling cheap oil and gas to USA is true! We could have made more selling to others and strengthen our military and international negotiating power! Make Canada Great Again
This guy should be PM for life. As an American, I appreciate he will put Canada first, but work in partnership with our leadership. We need each other.
I've been saying this for years, why don't we refine our own products, instead of paying others to do it for us. 🤦🏻♂️ People laughed at me and said it couldn't be done. 🙄
The reason is that it costs more to refine our products here than it does in other countries who can do it more efficiently than we can. So it is a waste of the refiner's money to build a refinery here. He will build his refinery in the place where it gives him the greatest return, and Canada is not that place. "We" don't refine anything. The refining is done by people who build refineries with their own money. "We" don't get a say in it unless "we" put up the money.
Same here. I've said it for 15 or 20 years... why tf do we not have our own refineries and plants? It creates jobs, allows us to increase production and get more money for the resources. Canada can be an ultra wealthy country with all our resources. Lumber, oil, natural gas, coal, etc. More money the government can generate on their own, the less they have to take from the people. Pierrr does all this and slows immigration for a long while while we catch up woth housing and attracting good companies to open back up here Canada will return to its great status and maybe be even better than ever by 2035 or less.
@@lesliemacmillan9932 And WHAT is your reason that other countries CAN produce finished products and have BETTER wages for their workers, then we have and yet can produce finished products for markets to purchase and make HUGE profits on these products. The problem with us is WE have nO political will to make changes to attract the investments needed with the possibilities of making a profit.
@@CarAudioObsessions Same as I said to Kelvin. "We" don't refine (or process) anything just sitting around commenting on RUclips videos. That work is done by investors who build refineries, sawmills, steel mills, whatever with *their* money. They won't invest their capital in a venture that they think will lose money, like an all-Canadian network of secondary industry, intended just to support Canadian union jobs with dental plans. So if you want 19th-century secondary industry set up with government money as the investor of last resort, then you will have to divert that money away from other things you want the government to do for you: health care, the military, border security, old-folks homes, criminal justice, whatever. You will have to tax the people to build the refineries, then tax them again to cover the losses. Think VIA Rail and Canada Post. *If refining or milling could be done profitably in Canada, it already would be.* And to some extent it is: we refine iron into steel in Hamilton, Norfolk, and Sault-Ste.-Marie because the particular value those mills add to the steel is worth the higher cost of Canadian labour compared to China, Vietnam, and India. But crude oil can be refined more cheaply in Louisiana (and then shipped around the country) than in Alberta, so that's where they refine it. If there is no business case for the private sector to invest in secondary refining/manufacturing, there is no chance that the government can do it without costing taxpayers money.
Canada 🇨🇦 First and America 🇺🇸 First. Negotiation 101-create a “win-win”, and know the greatest desire in your negotiation with regard to your negotiating partner. Still brilliantly explained. Together, we can create an economy that honors hard work and dedication. 👍✌️💪

USA politics is now hopeful and I hope the bad guys do not assassinate Trump. I have worried about Pierre. I would not put it past Trudeau at all or jagmeet. They both support terrorists
I immigrated to Canada more than 20 years ago. From Europe. This place is unrecognizable to me. I am a moderate, classical liberal. After Harper it was time for changes and a Liberal vote made sense. But what Trudeau did to us in unforgivable. He turned a healthy, balanced, moderately liberal country that did well into place where it's good citizens can no longer afford to eat three meals a day while they are pummeled with woke nonsense and expected to take this abuse without making a sound. Our universities became intolerable with DEI garbage and censorship. We aren't allowed to share news articles on social media because they are trying to control every though everyone thinks. @ oh ya, his way of flustering Trudeau and his caucus and it worked, not to the extent trump wanted.oh ya, there is a lot behind the scenes, politics are never black and white
LOL Freeland stood up to Trump!! In her dreams and fantasies!
Yes he is respecting him as he should! Grade 5 school yard activities have no place here! I dont think we're seeing what you see, and thankfully, Danielle and Pierre see it differently as well!!
Peterson comes from small town of Grand Prairie, Alberta A year or so ago, Justin was telling him that Jordan will have to go to reeducation /Gullag or he will lose his professional licence.
yeah...there will be no smiling if pp gets elected
Thank you for sharing this! If something gets in the way of this man becoming Prime Minister of Canada will be ruined. We want him NOW.
It drives me insane when I read, watch or hear people (Liberals, NDP etc.) talk down about Pierre and his policies, ministers and plan. I don't know what you are watching, reading or listening to but wow I find him very very impressive....
Your not alone. Most Canadians do aswell!!!
.Your grasp on the word “policy” is rather loose.
Very encouraging. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for putting this up - it's such a fantastic part of the interview!!!! Can't get enough of hearing intelligent, common sense remarks from a politician. FINALLY. Lord help us get PP voted in to be Canada's next PM🙏
Nicely done Pierre. Thankyou to this channel for sharing with the world. Canadians need to hear this.
Can you visualize Trudeau conversing like this?? ! NEVER!
ahhh...um...ahhhh...
you mean licking Trumps boots?
he talks like a child
@@hotnorm Like a 7th grader who has learned a bunch of lines. Castro Boy is unable to build and present a reasoned argument on anything.
As I have been saying from back when he first ran for leader of the party. Pierre will make a wonderful and level-headed Prime Minister who will look out for the best interests of Canada and her people. And I certainly will NOT hesitate to say it Again.
Even though he is part of the WEF, I think not!
Until he gets swayed.
Clinton I see what you see. Common sense!!
Thats not what he was talking about but ok
While America gets their act together?! Canada is in a full shit show! Pretty bad when Trump can't even stand to have him for a sleepover!
Canada is sick of him never mind Trump.
Yes while America gets their act together ! We just ousted our Clown, they just elected one !
Yes, we need to have our own refineries. I’ve been saying that for years.
Pierre is a breath of fresh air, someone who can speak clearly without constantly going ummmm ahhhh ummm ahhh ummmmm ahhhh....
Poilievre makes sense regarding "value added". We did the same thing with our lumber. We sold the trees to the americans and then bought back paper for our newspapers.
That sounds like Canada was acting like a colony of US.
Poilievre will be a remarkable leader, I hope he wins. He also knows Trump is just trolling about the 51st state, that makes him wicked smart.
Good move brother and thank you
Also; Isn't it nice to hear a genuine man speak? Pierre Poilievre speaks with one voice and it is concise, intelligent, sincere and most importantly in direct reference to the question presented to him! Trudeau has two voices: his pre-written and well rehearsed speech (remember, his only training is in acting), and his non-rehearsed speech in which he "ah" "uhms" and "ahhs" all the way through it. Justin Trudeau is duplicitous.
What's wrong with you? There's nothing genuine about him. Enjoy millions of more immigrants.
@@themodfather9382... what's that smell? ... oh wait, smells like a delusional PPC bro

Everyone needs to see this part of the interview. Thanks for sharing.
The sad thing is that Liz thinks California is the best-run state in the union. She loves all their policies.
This guy seems to be really switched on to the art of the deal! Canada needs guys like this. 👍🇦🇺🙏
Elizabeth May calling Trump a joke.
Step back and take a serious look at your party, Elizabeth May. You have 2 seats! Talk about a joke...
But she was right.
Clinton thanks for this..great clip man...awesome
I bet PP has Harper in his back pocket, lots of good strategy there....Do we have Grownups driving the bus again?
Reno Nv. U.S.A. I will bet that TRUMP backs this guy!!! So like 2 peas in a pod!!!
Bring it on Pierre
Same here. Feels better just listening to this
There's 60,000 "workers" at the Canada Revenue Agency.
@@EndoftheBeginning17I hope you're right brother
So you don’t have any family members working at CRA- what if you did….
American here. I love both of these Canadians. Both logical, ethical, thoughtful and clear, concise speakers. Mr. Poilievre will make a great Prime Minister. Watch out world. American & Canada are back🍻🥂🎉
It seems too good to be true. May God bless and protect America and Canada from evil doers who hate our freedom 🙏 🇺🇸❤️🇨🇦 may we both prosper and live long!!
Why does any media give Elizabeth May the time of day. Just give her a drink and leave her alone!!!
Why not an entire bottle of vodka?
Thankful for Pierre!
That is a great truth podcast, thank you for sharing this so we can all know the truth of this person called the future Prime Minister of Canada, giving the Conservatives more votes. He does have common sense and not like the Libs, knows how to count and read. 🙂
Thank you for sharing this is an amazing and more people need to see this 👍🏻
We Americans want a Strong Canada. We are allies, but we must be friends.
Kick the Crown.

Make America Great Again.
KUDOS!
Best interview I’ve ever seen. 😊
"Maybe California wants to become the 11th province ! ". That's definitely cute and funny to hear ! But yeah, I'm voting for PP for sure !!
I love your sense of humor. Great job great show very creative.
Is Elizabeth May drunk?
Always//
She is the only politician with common sense in Canada. Trudeau is weak and woke and Poilievre is already the governor of the 51th state of USA.😢
Usually.
Would happen to be the APPLE on the table? 🍎🍏
Thankyou Clinton, you really hit it out of the park this time. Thanks for sharing this with us.
great content bravo! ....Pierre Poilievre what a beautiful mind !
Thanks for sharing ! I’m delighted to hear the word Saskatchewan come out his mouth ! Can’t wait until Poilievere takes the Wheel 👏
If I had a dollar for every Canadian immigrant I've heard in my life say, "We made a mistake. We wish to God we never came here and now we can't afford to leave."
Let alone now we can’t live here as well, so add Canadians to that count 😮
Canada is a free range PRISON
Everyone only came to Canada because it's next to America
Help them leave.
Yes they can leave
Thank so much for showing this DW interview … my husband and I are both on fixed incomes so can’t afford subscriptions to the DW or other independent media. Great video and great interview!😊
You r correct 100%. Pierre is more of leader. He makes sense.
If what mis may says is true shouldn't Canada's population be the same or close to mabe more then America 🤔🤦😂
What he said about Canada selling cheap oil and gas to USA is true! We could have made more selling to others and strengthen our military and international negotiating power! Make Canada Great Again

Thankyou, thankyou,thankyou gentlemen
Love you Pierre Poilievre great man with a great vision for Canada ❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏
This guy should be PM for life. As an American, I appreciate he will put Canada first, but work in partnership with our leadership. We need each other.
I hope that if we hire Mr Poilievre for the role of PM, he continues this way of thinking and do what he says he's going to do.
May is such a dolt....
She shouldn't be allowed to speak publicly
@lesliemacmillan9932 Exactly what needs to change in the country.
Pierre has the facts, the numbers the respect and professional diplomatic skills to speak to President Trump. Libs/NDP and May are just acting like teenagers throwing a tantrum.
Go Pierre hope you are true to your word about keeping Canada safe, especially children/women. Unlike U.K and I hope Australia returns to decency and is mindful of its rights to protect women/ children before foreign influence. Trump is a character I never believe everything he says.

Treat the Working Class the way they truly deserve. Imagine a world where the working class is treated as the VIPs they truly are! By championing subsidies and meaningful incentives, we can ignite a revolution of economic empowerment. Let's eliminate those burdensome overtime taxes and ease the income tax burden. When workers thrive, they'll spend more, fueling our markets and community growth. With newfound financial freedom, they can invest in their futures and dreams. Together, we can create an economy that honors hard work and dedication. 👍✌️💪
Love what you say but conservatives won’t deliver on that. Conservatives just want the rich to stay rich.
lmfao....cons for the working class....in your dreams ...the only thing cons want from the workimg class is their labour and taxes
I rarely watch any Canada stuff anymore , because I get angry about our helplessness and I am suffering from being held hostage fatigue. USA politics is now hopeful and I hope the bad guys do not assassinate Trump. I have worried about Pierre. I would not put it past Trudeau at all or jagmeet. They both support terrorists
Nah that doesn't happen here 😂😂 theyre too weak anyway to do that

It is awful. I hope Poilievre wins.
