Unbelieveable catch from the beach - NZ Surfcasting

- Hello and welcome to Basic Fishing from New Zealand. As you would have noticed, I FINALLY landed my PB kingfish from the beach at last! For years I had spent a lot of effort and different methods in hopes on landing a decent size kingfish from the beach and I have to admit, I still couldn't believe I was able to land this stubborn greenback at least on the black sand. Apart from the kingfish, I was also able to land other big fish, 2 school sharks and 1 spotted rig. This is definitely my most memorable fishing days that I'll never forget. Not bad for a winters days fishing! Hope everyone enjoys the raw action of me pulling in the big fish from the surf!

cheers man definitely was a huge surprise especially for winter. funny you mentioned that cause after my last kingfish, i recognized the action it creates when hooked but i didn't wanted to get my hopes up and decided to say it was a shark instead haha next objective: land another one in summer haha hopefully its much bigger but then again who knows? haha

Well done bro I’ve been following ur instructions and ur way of fishing but I fail but I need to to teach how to reel in fish lol and know what size of hooks I need if I’m surf casting
well just take it slowly wen winding in the fish and let the fish run if its bigp with a good drag setting. its all about practice and feel
