The Struggle on using Live Bait - NZ Beach Fishing

- Hello and welcome to Basic Fishing from New Zealand. In this video, I once again challenged myself on trying to catch a kingfish from the beach using only live bait. The conditions were ideal and perfect compared to the last video I showcased. Unfortunately despite being able to get a good supply of live bait in the bucket, all I was able to manage so far was a large long-tailed stingray and 2 good sized kahawai on the yellow eyed mullet. Not sure when my efforts will pay off but I was still glad to have caught some fish on the live bait. Really hope I'll see that greenback very soon.......

Have you tried using sliders for live baiting? You could've used that kahawai as a live bait.
i have before but those kahawais were too large so didn't see the point
