      @Colin Tanner never worked on Heidelbergs myself. Only ever saw the one platen at Leicester School of Printing during my apprenticeship. I ended up on Komori Lithrones and Roland R705 with Crabtree Falcon and Nebiolo presses during the early days. Oh how I miss the inky fingers! 🤣🤣

I also happened to be at the McDonald's across the street when one of their employees rolled around in a freshly imported Cadillac Fleetwood. I recommended to get the original wheels for it which they ended up doing. Definitely quite the collection.

Loved mine back in the early 90's until it got wrote off. Have had 3 Gordini Turbos and 2 GT Turbos on the Renault front. They, like you, have a place in my heart an my only cheat on my Vw's 😂😂

    Another brilliant video! I can remember 1991, and working for about 6 weeks in a printing factory. A Heidelberg 6 colour printing machine was over £1m. 30 feet long maybe? The most pain I have ever encountered….paper cuts on the palms whilst loading it with a 3 or 4 foot stack of paper. Earned a fortune though! 12 hour shift. Double time after 8 hours 😂

    Hi Colin, the Citi-Car towards the end of video is an electric vehicle. The engineering company I worked for back in 1970’s had one they did a lot of testing on. Had a top speed of maybe 25-35kmh. Can’t recall much more than that about it. Some really great cars in the video.

    Colin that 2 door Pontiac convertible is a Pontiac Fiero. My mother used to have a Pontiac Fiero 2M4 and later a Fiero 2M6. The 2M4 means : 2 seater, Mid engine, 4 cylinder. The 2M6 means: 2 seater, Mid engine, 6 cylinder. I hope that helps.

    The blue Mustang is a 1969 base model fastback. The Mach 1 featured reflective striped decals going down the sides of the car and had a black bonnet with a scoop. I own a similar base model fastback in candy apple red with a 428 cobra jet from the factory. She's a real sleeper as they say.

  • @jeremywentworth1833
    @jeremywentworth1833 2 года назад +1

    The Mustang in light metallic blue was a Mach 1 , Hammond drove 1 in Top gear Patagonia were the 3 nutters were chased out of the country because of Clarksons 928 reg H982FKL ,1982 Falklands , The Maserati you were thinking of was the Bi-Turbo that was supposedly horrendous car infact top gear again Clarkson Hammond and May bought a Mint 1 then from quite a height had a skip dropped on it and flattened it, the strange looking small wedge car is an 80s electric car.Apl the Shadows doesn't matter how old they get they still look class my grandad had 1 for quite a few years I use to go to school in it as a teenager .

    • @bigmikeyz0071
      @bigmikeyz0071 2 года назад

      It's actually just a regular base model 1969 Mustang fastback. In 1969 Ford offered many Mustang models. They had the base, Grande, GT, Mach 1's, Shelby's and Boss 302's and 429's. The Mach 1 was an appearance package more or less. It had more standard options such as the base engine was a 351 rather than 6 cyl. The Mach 1's interior featured red floor mats and red inserts on the front seats. On the outside they had refective striped decals going down both sides of the car with a blacked out bonnet and a scoop. I own a similar 69' base model fastback finished in candy apple red with red interior. It's a sleeper with poverty hub caps but it has a factory 428 Cobra Jet like the gt500. It's all original and I got it as a barn find as graduation gift from my parents in 2002. So it wasn't in the best condition when i got it but it had no rust at least. I got it running and restored it over time. For 69' it has a lot of options so whoever ordered it back then got all the go fast goodies, bucket seats and a 8 track player instead of the more expensive Mach 1 package. And I'm happy that they did bcause its fast lol. I enjoy driving it as much at my modern gt350. The base models with the big block engines are significantly rarer than other models. Thanks for the Top Gear info I love that show and I watch it a lot. I enjoy The Grand Tour as well. Unfortunately we didn't get Top Gear in the states until the mid 2000's.
