Yes, it was a "loose ball" foul after Smart TACKLED Barnes who DID have possession!?! Nesmith jumps INTO Barnes. Barnes get's the foul!?! How the heck can you call a foul on Achiua when he got all ball on the way up!?! At 5:18 Prichard is literally ALL OVER Siakem....no foul?!? Honestly...just look at the Celtics after those calls. They can hardly keep a straight face - some are actually hiding their laughs! WTH is going on??? Williams in fact, throws his head back into Siakem and Siakem gets the foul?!? #27 for the Celtics leans into Barnes who ends up bumping Dum...I mean Smart, and Barnes get the foul. Well...at least the refs are "consistent". 53.7 sec on the 4th, ALL kinds of contact on Siakem...no call. 51.4 of OT...the foul is on OG...no the foul is on Siakem...bottom line..."We are calling a foul on A Raptor because otherwise, they might win this game!" It's just another game where the Raptors have to defeat both their opposition AND the refs. ...nothing new for them anyway.
YO I CANT BELIEVE A GAME WAS CALLED THIS ONE SIDED LIKE WTF WERE THE REFS ON?!?!? SO MANY TOUCH FOULS CALLED ON ONE AND AND MISSED FOULS ON THE OTHER😡 and the worst part was that it was as clear as day the whistle was one sided and nothing changed. That Precious block was just for Nurse to use his challenge like that was a clear block!!! Smfh y’all see the footage this shit is embarrassing and unfair.
We are used to having the refs against us, but tonight it was on a whole new level. They were blatantly trying to keep the Celtics close and get as many raps in foul trouble as they could. This was a physical game with a lot of contact, however it was only "too physical" when the raps were defending. Smart doing his dirty work and flopping all over the court as always. There were 2 Celtics possessions in the 4th where he was on the edge of the screen away from the ball and you could see his body flying/flopping out of view just to try and get a call. They somehow didn't see/heard NN jumping and yelling trying to call a timeout on the last possession before OT. I gotta check but by the end of the 4th we had 25 fouls against us and only 11 against the Celtics
Please don't let this team officiate any games in the playoffs. They're either following someones' orders, or extremely incompetent! Disgusting spectacle!
shouldn’t even have to use a challenge for that. not sure why the refs don’t review a questionable goaltending call like they do any other game that doesn’t include the Raptors. smh.
I've been saying that for years. This is classic officiating against the Raptors. They've been doing it since we came into the league. No team works harder for their wins than Toronto
I love Derrick White's sportsmanship when he held on to check Siakam after accidently crashing against his knee. 5:12 to 5:18. Smart meanwhile, can go flop with the fishes, baiting official(s) for Scottie's 6th foul. Matty D's assessment of getting pushed wasn't the culprit as much as Smart keeping his feet in place so he can fall forward from incidental contact.
It probably will get reviewed, and the league probably will give them fewer games to officiate, or less significant games (like playoff games where they get payed more) but they can't fire them unless they can prove there was some sort of fraud.
great work with this! you need to do this in the playoffs to please because it will happen. NBA will always try to screw over the raps anyway they can because its a business and there not profiting much from a team in canada, so they dont care, but with you exposing this stuff it will hopefully start to make it better.
Marcus Smart should have been T'd up for arguing with the refs. He got one call, and then he kept jawing about the calls on. Every. Single. Play. After three minutes of him being in the face of the refs, he should have picked up his second tech and told to go wait on the team bus. What an embarrassing spectacle he is.
I stopped watching middle of 4th because the officiating was getting so bad, my blood was genuinely boiling, man I was thinking about taking a nice drive to sba. Have a friendly conversation with the refs... :)
Hey does the nba have an official complaint department or does the referee association have an email? lmao if we can get that info and have all the raptor fans flood their messagaes with all the wrong officiating that cost us games over the last decade!! Man i dont know about you guys but the missed calls and the fouls that are called on us gets my blood boiling smh
I tried to send feedback so many times to no avail. The NBA is the mastermind of game fixing, so don't bother. The Raptors have to overpower their opponents by 20 points every time to ensure a win.
This might be the worst stretch of officiating of all time, definitely should be investigated. Either this is pure incompetence or someone had something to gain, either way someone should be held accountable.
not even as bad as when they stole the game against ATL in 2008. TJ Ford made a perfect basket with milliseconds left on the clock, and they said the clock was wrong and needed to be adjusted lmao, despite the fact that you can clearly see the shot clock still going in the background AFTER the ball left TJ's fingers. Either way they can never take the 2019 season away from us.😛
@@drlca6601 I remember them doing the same thing years ago when T Ross hit like a 4 point play for the game and they said the clock wasn't right or something.
Had Nurse been able to use 30 challenges, all of them would've been successful... So quick to call Achiuwa's block a goaltend... A disgrace to the game.
The problem with this is you could do this nearly every single night. And in the playoffs you'll be making one every single win or loss. The NBA has been doing this since the Raptors won a chip. This is why I can't stand sports anymore. It's all politics now.
About 20 years ago the NBA had a scandal when a referee was caught fixing games that he was also betting on. The NBA 'cleared' any other refs of wrong doing, but even at the time it was clear other refs were at least aware of what was going on, if not involved as well. There are certain teams that seem to get more than there share of weird calls -- Golden State and Toronto being two of them (but there are several others). JTA is a player on Golden State who I've watched get multiple 'travels' calls in the same game, for apparently taking steps before dribbling the ball. Rewinding the calls, I can at best see him take maybe 1 step before dribbling, although it looks simultaneous in real time. I then watch other players, like nearly all other players, regularly take 2-3 (sometimes more) steps after catching the ball before dribbling, without getting called. Moving screens are another common example of biased calls. A player on one team gets called for a moving screen for what looks like a slight lean into the contact (like bracing themselves, a natural reaction), while the other side gets away with sliding feet and hip checks. This is all before we even begin talking about the mauling Steph Curry gets off ball without any calls, while other players (Chris Paul or James Harden for instance) just have to flail their arms anywhere on the court and they get a foul. Whether its GS, or Toronto, or another team, the referee is either incompetent in the extreme, or being used to fix games for gambling. I can't think of any other way to explain just how blatantly biased NBA refereeing has become (and NBA games unwatchable as a result).
Should’ve been an offensive too, look at white’s left hand hooking trent…no wonder nba players can thrive in fiba as well as they do in the nba, cause of these soft bias calls
I am so incredibly proud to be a Raptors fan. The whistle not going our way is nothing new, but the players don’t whine and complain, they just play through everything and win. It’s a pleasure watching this team!!
Raps didn't beat the Celtics last night, they beat the refs. This was the most egregious display of premeditated officiating that we've seen this season. Corruption at the highest level.
Remember when Lowry did that after getting called for an offensive foul while taking a 3? I think he got a fine for that but thought it was better than multiple techs from the refs if he stayed on the floor.
Raptors fan since '05. Sadly, seen this way too many times to be surprised by it. The fact that we won despite this in '19 shows how truly dominant we were that year.
The flopping mentality is even worse than when I last saw Boston play. Marcus Smart plays the refs like the amateurs they are. Now all of the Celtics do it. A big part of the problem is that the Celtics are the NBA darlings like the Cowboys are America’s team. I have never seen so many new refs who I am unfamiliar with.
What’s hilarious is if you go to the Celtics board their so proud of the way they played thinking they would destroy the raps in the playoffs. The morons on that board don’t understand raps play up or down to their competition. As well they think the officiating was fair.
Games like this make you wonder why these refs blowing calls left right and how many other games are not held to standards on how many bad call in a year. And still not fired.
This is one of the most disgraceful displays of officiating that I've ever seen. Thad Young getting clotheslined with 51 seconds left in the game, but Siakam getting a phantom foul to get fouled out instead pretty much summed up this farce of a game.
I don't watch many Celtics games but honestly everytime Celtics play in Toronto it's always refs favouring Celtics especially Marcus Smart. But what do I know I'm just a viewer, just glad our Raptors got the W against the first seed in the conference

Smart literally tripped over his own teammate and they fouled out scottie...
That is utterly ridiculous, ridiculous, how could they call that?! How?! Makes no fucking sense!
Found myself questioning how's that a foul whole game
Marcus smart known for a flopper he should be called on that
Yes, it was a "loose ball" foul after Smart TACKLED Barnes who DID have possession!?!
51.4 of OT...the foul is on OG...no the foul is on Siakem...bottom line..."We are calling a foul on A Raptor because otherwise, they might win this game!"
It's just another game where the Raptors have to defeat both their opposition AND the refs. ...nothing new for them anyway.
This was a stressful game to watch. W feels good.
the amount of Non Calls for the raptors is astounding. they were getting beat the hell up all night
Pls keep putting out these vids to out these bad nba refs!
i mean we def couldve played better, we missed a few clean shots but bruh, the officiating is what makes the game suck :/
5 vs 8 no, hard fought battle non calls stfu.
This game is a perfect example of terrible refs rewarding flopping.
This game should be investigated. That was absolutely terrible, officating from the refs.
Even the commentators where saying 5 vs 8.
Yup
I gotta check but by the end of the 4th we had 25 fouls against us and only 11 against the Celtics
this what every team says lmao" oh poor me, my team is hated by refs, oh poor me"
@@TimeLordinc yes but the raptors statistically have it the worst. No point being toxic on RUclips
@@noahtyszka1464 don’t know how I’m being toxic… and the team that fouls more of the time is gonna have more fouls it’s just common sense
@Adam yea I did and a lot of these weren’t bad calls lmao. There really isn’t a need for a vid like this
@Adam yea nice one
Please don't let this team officiate any games in the playoffs. They're either following someones' orders, or extremely incompetent! Disgusting spectacle!
Actually mind-boggling how just ignored Thad Young getting closelined
The reffing got considerably worse the more Raps were gaining momentum. Entitled Boston Floppers looked like they were in on the game
Who else was screaming at there TV during this game!? Awful referee's.
Disgusting but the Raptors go thru this often. The Celtics always seem to have the refs on payroll.
I argree the raptors does go through this a lot.
But this was WAY OVER THE TOP. Definitely the worst officiating the raptors ever had by far.
Scottie getting head butted into Smart. 8 on 5 basketball. The fans got their money's worth.
A one-sided call of refs but still the winning side is on Raptors . . . .
Pascals spin moved has evolved. Now he can do it at full speed.
On the third "foul" the ref blew the whistle before the actual "foul".
2:28 that's a clean block.
shouldn’t even have to use a challenge for that. not sure why the refs don’t review a questionable goaltending call like they do any other game that doesn’t include the Raptors. smh.
That was clean as day, and they call that an goaltend?! Just how?!
It’s clear the NBA regrets giving Toronto, Canada a basketball team.
Their vaccine policy is gonna cause a bunch of problems
Fucked up considering Canada invented the sport and the first nba game was literally played IN TORONTO!
@@prestigev6131 welcome to corporate America.
I've been saying that for years. This is classic officiating against the Raptors. They've been doing it since we came into the league. No team works harder for their wins than Toronto
The refs might as well have wore green uniform lol
I love Derrick White's sportsmanship when he held on to check Siakam after accidently crashing against his knee. 5:12 to 5:18.
Smart meanwhile, can go flop with the fishes, baiting official(s) for Scottie's 6th foul. Matty D's assessment of getting pushed wasn't the culprit as much as Smart keeping his feet in place so he can fall forward from incidental contact.
I am so happy I missed this game, this highlight video almost gave me a heart attack
They should loose their jobs. That was just unacceptable levels of incompetence, even for a game of the raptors.
This was some 5 vs 8 kinda bs. The league really wants to keep the Raptos down. So bs
Either this is pure incompetence or someone had something to gain, either way someone should be held accountable.
bro it probaly is, over 7 mins of bad calls in one quarter insanity
not even as bad as when they stole the game against ATL in 2008.
Wow. The no-call on Thad was absolutely atrocious. The fix was in on this one
Refs were too busy giving OG... My bad. I mean Siakam a phantom call to foul him out. Thad got knocked around like a rag doll.
5:12 man that could've been a bad injury on Pascal, dodged a bullet there
And there were so many other non-calls and blatantly bogus calls that didn't even make it on this video. Absolutely egregious referees tonight.
28 to 15 fouls total. Refs clearly trying to help the Celtics
This the most rigged shit I've ever seen
Had Nurse been able to use 30 challenges, all of them would've been successful... So quick to call Achiuwa's block a goaltend... A disgrace to the game.
This was such an amazing game man the atmosphere in the arena was insane!!
The problem with this is you could do this nearly every single night. And in the playoffs you'll be making one every single win or loss. The NBA has been doing this since the Raptors won a chip. This is why I can't stand sports anymore. It's all politics now.
that GTJ foul at 6:02, that was absolutely horrible. despite the calls, kudos to the raptors for staying level headed.
5:41 derrick white's face after he knocks down p skills. clean swipe btw
Should’ve been an offensive too, look at white’s left hand hooking trent…no wonder nba players can thrive in fiba as well as they do in the nba, cause of these soft bias calls
I didn’t watch the game and haven’t watched the NBA in a while but almost looks like the refs were making things up just to get Toronto in trouble
They legit need to file a lawsuit against the nba for these horrible refs
At the end of the game, Smart flopped hard with Thaddeus Young on him and they didn't call it. Thank god they didn't or I would've lost my shit
I am so incredibly proud to be a Raptors fan. The whistle not going our way is nothing new, but the players don’t whine and complain, they just play through everything and win. It’s a pleasure watching this team!!
Worst ref team in the NBA
You forgot about Tony Brothers
Just compare fouls that are called on other stars vs Siakam, on every Siakam's drive there is lots of contacts but very few calls
I was at the game last night and the fans were letting the refs know that they were screwing the raps so bad. It was awful. SMH.
Wow. It's so blatant.
Refs need to be held accountable.. the inconsistency is ruining the league.
min 6:30, Young got fouled first, yet the gave the foul to Siakam LOLLL
With the horrible referring it made it all the more satisfying. NBA officials need to be held accountable.
Raps didn't beat the Celtics last night, they beat the refs. This was the most egregious display of premeditated officiating that we've seen this season. Corruption at the highest level.
they beat both
Wow! Crazy how you can compile almost 8 mins of objectively bad calls!!! Good job putting this video together!
One of these games the raps should walk off the court in protest. Enough.
The officiating is horrific, there's no one governing on refs performance?
good vidd lmao OG didnt touch him
The flopping mentality is even worse than when I last saw Boston play. Marcus Smart plays the refs like the amateurs they are. Now all of the Celtics do it. A big part of the problem is that the Celtics are the NBA darlings like the Cowboys are America’s team. I have never seen so many new refs who I am unfamiliar with.
Except I have never noticed the Cowboys get preferential treatment. But you are right about the darlings part!
These are the blindest refs
It's as if Nick Patrick was officiating this game.
The refs really wanted us to lose the video literally sums up the whole game
Yes the reffing was quite uneven so the win was sweet!
Refs were playing in Celtics jerseys. Celtics take more free throws than Raps tonight despite not having Brown or Tatum... wtf
Jus ridiculous .... How do they sleep at night?!?!
What’s hilarious is if you go to the Celtics board their so proud of the way they played thinking they would destroy the raps in the playoffs. The morons on that board don’t understand raps play up or down to their competition.
As well they think the officiating was fair.
This was a brutal game, I was impressed Nick was able to stay there.
Can we get the names of the refs there? And maybe their addresses?
#27 Mitchell Ervin- New Orleans,La
#16 David Guthrie- Charlotte,NC
#78 Evan Scott- Richmond, Va
The refs also didn't acknowledge Nick Nurse screaming for a timeout at the end of regulation...
NBA needs to investigate this game, this was absolutely disgusting officiating.
One of the refs prolly just lost a big bet
I don't watch many Celtics games but honestly everytime Celtics play in Toronto it's always refs favouring Celtics especially Marcus Smart. But what do I know I'm just a viewer, just glad our Raptors got the W against the first seed in the conference
Personal Fouls 15-28??? SMH
