I got some of the Hatton's coaches in LNWR,LNER war time brown got to been one of my favourite in collection easy better then Hornby one. Can't wait to GNR,NCB,L&Y brown & umber. But looking at BR crimson, MR. If there do batch 3 I will possibility get SDJR only if there do it in blue.

I like the Hornby coaches. I have one set but I think the Hatton's coaches are much more detailed but my Hatton's coaches did derail on the odd point on a club layout

Your right the hattons ones are much more detailed and a nicer paint finish I think but you can usually rely on hornby for running quality with all models being tested on setrack, I had one or 2 derailments but mostly good, it's the lighting over setrack points that let's them down I think, hornbys lighting system is much better I think, thanks for watching. You give me a very creepy running session idea. Could you possibly run a ghost train on your railway? The Genesis Coaches are seemingly being moved about at night, like magic. No steam engine is near them. Could be there's a ghost engine at work, haunting the railway, who loves to wreak havoc.

thats a good idea, like in an episode of the famous five they had a ghost train in that, i only had a few locos with working lights at the time but wanted to show of the coaches in the dark, thanks again for watching, much appreciated

Good review! Kind of upset I didn't jump on the GWR liveries when they first came out. I will grab some if they do another run!
They might not be prototypical (ew that felt bad to type) but they look the part for sure! With a loco from 1880-1910 they would fit perfectly!

i was tempted by the gwr livery but there was so many to choose from and because i had the hattons p class and lnwr webb coal tank i thought id go for something different, they are miles better looking that the hornby ones but i do think hornby got it right with the lighting and also for rougher tight radius track i think the hornby ones would be more suitable, thanks for watching.
