I'm always surprised at how different the pickups sound being so close together. Cool bass.

Great. So, I Should just sign my whole check over to Serek? At this rate, I’ll never stop buying basses. Stop making sweet instruments! If I have to work 75 jobs to buy them all, I will, but I’ll complain about it.

Is the bridgemost pickup placed close to where the dg section of where a p pickup would be? That one was my favourite tone.

I well remember the lucite Dan Armstrong basses from the late 60s and early 70s. They had good tone but the necks were pencil thin. They were on the heavy side. I think that Keith Richards and Bill Wyman went through a Dan Armstrong phase.

I absolutely love this! If only it would be 2 lbs lighter, I would be all over it!

Definitely not worth the money at $4,200. There are far better bass options out there that give you more options for your money than this bass.

@@dukealbert7017 ...no,...it's a confirmed fact as I'm a bass luthier, myself. This bass is like paying for a new loaded Chevy Silverado pickup, and receiving a used 10-year old Ford F-150 commercial truck for your money. You clearly aren't getting your money's worth.

All due respect....... guessing you haven’t played a Serek. Jake and his crew does great work.

@@ralphhenderson7270 And as a Serek Lincoln owner, I say they are WELL worth it! But thank you for insulting not only Jake but many of us Serek owners decisions as well 👌🏾

@@guitarzan11litwin51 I have no interest in ever playing a Serek when there are many other great bass instrument luthier companies that offer a far better value than Serek for half the price of what Serek is trying to fetch for their models. I own Alembics, Status, Jaydee, Wal, and many others. This is practically price gouging for what Serek is asking for their instruments. The quality is not worth what you are paying for. Basically, Serek is producing basses that are merely thinly disguised Rickenbacher and Gibson Ripper copies. They don't offer any full binding options on any of their models. Basically. You are paying for overpriced electronics. And plexiglass basses are nothing new,....you can get them from China for less than $200, and many of them have l.e.d.'s built into the fingerboard.
