Haha. Love these. Gotta foul ball hit by Marc Hill in the Kingdome. Wonder where that ball is? Johnny and twin brother Eddie played basketball and baseball for Seattle University. Johnny was an All American in basketball. Both played with the Pirates in the mid 50s.
I think this was my third time getting an autograph back from Johnny O’Brien. I mentioned his other athletic achievements then. A great athlete for sure. That’s really awesome you got a foul ball
Thanks for sharing Tony. Great cards and information as always. I'd definitely trust the data from baseball reference over Wikipedia, plus taking Koufax deep is a better story. Take care man and have a great weekend.
I don’t even care if it’s late career sandy koufax. I took Koufax deep. But yeah I’ll take baseball reference over Wikipedia any day and twice on Sunday
Nice TTMs Tony! It must be so cool for a guy who was a mediocre player to get his first big league HR off a guy like Koufax! I’m glad O’Brien didn’t forget to sign the card this time! 🙄
It is funny about the guys who couldnt hit anyone except the all time greats. Ueck homered off of Koufax and Fergie and Gaylord Perry and said it almost ruined their careers. Perry said it was the worst day of his life. Very nice ink bud 👊🏻⚾️
Sweet vintage returns Tony. Thanks for sharing. ✌️
Thank you for checking out my vintage returns
Love those old Braves autos. Nice video.
Can’t go wrong with an old Milwaukee brave who also had a pitch that went yard off Hank Aaron’s bat
93, thats impressive.. The more i see 1978 Topps, the more i gravitate to the design..
I bought a starter set 5 years ago now. Finished the set a couple years back, really love it
Vintage TTMs are the glue that hold society together.
I was reading the other day, that vintage baseball ttming is something that’s trendy right now
Nice returns. Great that Mr. Hiatt got an HR off of Sandy. Thanks for sharing.
I’m sure jack hiatt still talks about that homer like it was yesterday
You know I loved the Giants cards. And good bit of Giants history too. Thanks
All three returns had a little giants history with them
Yay Johnny O'Brien!
He’s not even in a pirates uniform though haha
Very nice returns, Tony.
Thank you Scott
Sweet ttm's, tony 🎉🎉
@@the_card_closet thank you sir. You da man
Well done my friend
Thank you very much.
No 1981 Fleer! Bummer. Nice returns! Love the vintage
Gotta get back to the 1981 fleer set. That I’m not trying to get autographed
@ 😂😂 I’ve been sending bunch out. They do look great inked!
Nice cards.
Thank you
I dont know these guys but i will always love vintage ink
Your secondary prize for winning is still on its way. Looks like it was being held up at customs

Until the day I died, I would brag that I took Sandy Koufax yard. I would have no shame about that bragging either
1978 topps is a great set! I wish I was the back up catcher to the back up catcher in the big leagues.
I’m getting a ttm return from your neighbor today. I’d love to the be the back up for the back for the back
@@TonyBlack574Sid Fernandez? BTR? BRAD PITT? The suspense is killing me

Uecker has some of the best self deprecating humor. Wish he signed.
