I agree - this colour looks so gorgeous on her! But the other pink she had using the pravana dye, I just fell so inlove with. It was way too cute on her. But I also think she looks amazing in any colour.
Same! I haven’t dyed my hair in a couple of months because I’m too lazy to keep up with upkeep of semi permanent dyes. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner, but I bought Ion colour radiance permanent creme in radiant orchid today. So now I’ll just have to worry about touching up my roots every now and then
It's Orange pink because you put it on yellow hair. Your still has yellow pigmentosa it which if you mix it with pink (which is red and white) will give you a warm coral pink tone. Whereas if you had put it on white hair, it would have been true to the color. Or you could have toned your hair to a neutral platinum blonde first before putting the pink. You can't just bleach your hair light blonde and apply color on it. You either have to tone it first. And your hair underneath has to be a level 9 or higher. -cosmetologist
it really didn't look that yellow in the before photo, and it was previously dyed pink, and didn't turn that color, she seems to be pretty knowledgeable on the subject
+X L V N X yes, do a strand test first to see if it'll come out the peachy shade you want. If not, you can add a bit of orange dye to the pink to make it more peachy colored.
I know you like the purple toned pink better, but in my opinion the salmon pink looks amazing with your skin, it gives you much more colour than the Pravana one :)
I've never dyed my hair before, but I'm doing this color tonight!! As a, "You're in college, try new things" moment. I'm so excited! I'll be sure to change my profile pic tonight and comment on your video again so you can see it! AHHHH! SO EXCITED!

+Catherine Anne Hello! The diluters you're seeing are great to use with their line! Since it's by the actual company they can guarantee a longevity on the color. I say go for it as I have seen these and they are just diluters to keep the true colors. :)
i've used this dye on two different occasions. the first time i used it i diluted it a ton with conditioner and it COMPLETELY washed out, i have no idea how she achieved this color by diluting it with conditioner. i recently used the same dye again without diluting it and it looked very dark when the dye was in my hair, but it washed out as a beautiful pastel pink!! i wouldn't personally recommend diluting this brand with conditioner but i'm glad it worked for her : ^ )
With this color, when I diluted it with conditioner, it washed out completely, and I used a lot of the dye with the conditioner. It only works for me just putting it on my hair, then it gradually fades to a more paler pink.
I use this color. The first time I used it, I bleached my hair and I diluted it. The second time I kept my natural hair color (a medium/ light blonde) and I didn't dilute it. I literally now just squirt it out of the bottle and onto my hands and apply it to my hair. The color is still pastel.
I just bleached my hair today (it's literally white) and bought this exact same color. When you bleached your hair, and then applied the pink, how did it turn out?
Alex P It turned out very similar to in this video. It washes out with every shower (I shower daily, maybe skipping a day on the weekend if I don't go out) but it takes at least a week to wash out.
I dyed my hair blue with the same brand, with no conditioner. The color came out amazing and vibrant. I've washed my hair every other day or every 3 days and it is still pretty vibrant.
After a very long time it will fade to a blondish, but it will usually have a little bit of the colour before (just very light) for a while, the amount of time depends on the hair dye. Some dye turns silvery when is fades no matter what the colour, but some just fades with the colour it has.
I used the same exact dye at the salon I always go to and the color didn't pick up AT ALL! everything washed down the drain. my hair looked exactly as it did when I bleached it. we ended up using pravana diluted with equal part conditioner. not exactly what I wanted but close enough.
Did you use developer or conditioner with the dye application? If you bleached your hair to around a level 8 or 9, it should've picked up relatively well with a standard 30 volume developer. Conditioners generally don't enhance the color whatsoever, just makes it easier on the hair, but not by much.
Heya Tasha! Obviously late to the game here but I've been reading and tested out for myself using white conditioner that is silicone free that seems to deposit the colour onto my hair with a bit more lasting power then just plain ol white conditioner. I just used TRESemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture conditioner (still super easy on the dime) and been really happy with the results. Thought I would just throw that out there even if this video is almost a year! You're awesome lady and thanks!!
Tasha Leelyn I just used this dyed today. My hair is very pale blonde/white. and i left it in for 50 minutes and the colour washed right out! D: im so shocked because they usually work. so disappointed it came out nothing like this. and i only used the smallest amount of conditioner to make it easier to apply. Anyone had this problem?
This has happened to me before! I found the problem to be the conditioner. I'm not a hairstylist but I have been dying my hair myself since I was 12. :3 Make sure you get a silicon free conditioner, because if you use one with a lot of silicon to dilute the color, it won't let the color cling to your hair as well. And make sure you're applying on unwashed, dry hair :)
Francesca Bianchi I have dyed my hair plenty of times, it wasnt because of the conditioner, there have been a number of complaints on that particular colour which is ashame.
That's because it needs developer to activate the hair dye for it to properly grab onto the hair shaft :) just use a 10 or 20 you can then add conditioner if you wish
This is exactly the video I've been looking for. I was trying to find videos or pictures of this color. I was already convinced to try to this color so yaaass.
Color dilution is so important, the first time I used this stuff I didn't dilute it and it was a disgusting fuscia/purple-ish mess. So from now on I always use the method she uses for perfect pastels! :)
Thank you soo much for this video tutorial! I personally love warmer toned pinks apposed to more violet colors, so I really am considering this brand. It looks gorgeous~
Ive been on youtube all mornng trying to figure out if 1. the ion dye works well and 2. how much to dilute for my desired color. Your video was the best hands down! Thanks so much.
demi X I used this dye, and it stays on for about a week and a half, maybe 2 weeks. But it really depends on how often you wash your hair, and go swimming and stuff like that, I tend to do that often, so it might stay on longer for you. ^_^
demi X I use ION dyes for my pink hair, but I go for the brighter pinks (I used to use Magenta, which has a tendency to go salmon when it fades, but now I use Hottie Pink, a blue based neon pink). I was my hair about two-three times a week with the ION color safe shampoo and conditioner, and I don't notice much fading until about 4-5 weeks in, but I usually redye it every 6 when I do my roots.
I used the Aqua color, and it's been about a month since I've dyed it. It's still a nice color, but my bleached hair is showing up a bit. Of course, it makes a nice looking ombré, so I'm not complaining. Also, if you have dyed hair, I do not recommend going swimming. The chlorine in the pool loosens the grip between the hair dye and your hair. Also, shampooing your hair everyday can also effect the outcome. So, shampooing your hair about every other day will keep it in longer. Nonetheless, I really do suggest this hair dye.
I used 2 straight tubes of the Ion Rose and it was a sticky texture and did not take well. I used 2 tubes because I started to run out. My hair is not that thick anymore but it is long. I ran out when I got in the middle of the back. I also wanted to be able to put it on heavy so all the hair got treated. Well, it turned out blotchy, some spots did not take as well as others and it had plenty of dye on it. Even though my hair is bleached pretty light on top, it is still, to me, more of a pinky red. I am going to try it with the conditioner added in because I think it will make the texture more "workable" with your hair, allowing it to be absorbed better all over and more even. Oh well, it is always an experiment. I did get compliments from 3 men. They usually say nothing about my hair.
Hey! I love that hair colour so much! And do you mind me asking what extensions you use, i have been looking for good ones for forever and those are beautiful!
Hey so I'm sure you know this by now but Sally's has a new line from Ion that is pretty cool. One of the colors is "Smoky Pink"and it's awesome. I know you said your biggest issue with Rose was that it is a little too orange-y pink, so I thought I'd bring up the new color. It's a lot "cooler" as far as tone goes. It also comes in permanent AND demi permanent so it lasts longer than Rose. Just letting you know in case you didn't already. Love your videos!
This brand does NOT last! It washes out very quickly and is very thick. I didn't like it at all. Which is a shame cuz the colors look great on the box.
you are awesome!! im having my hair pink tomorrow and i wanted to ask you two things ! a)is it hard finding something to wear because of your hair color? b) do you need to constantly wear makeup so it doesnt make you look too pale? thank you
I had never heard of ION but they were on sale sallys a few months ago. I mixed cyan with a version of manic panic pink for my skunk stripe and did straight cyan on the mid ends. The mixed color came out great you just need to make sure to blend them hardcore for a long time as the ION will chunk up.
Instead of conditioner, you can use a porosity treatment (same brand, it comes in a spray bottle) and just mix that. It doesn't dilute the color, and it helps it stay for a couple more washes.
i am saying this from experience: whenever i dyed my hair right after i bleached it, especialy the very colourful ones and bright ones did not stay. they washed out completly. my experience showed me to better dye them 1 month later. if i am doing roots only, between bleaching and recolouring around 1-2 weeks are enough to wait. and another tip. do not use silicone conditioner or shampoo. helped me a lot too.
I prefer their flamingo pink, and a good way to make it less thick but keep the pigment is mixing it with their semi-permanent hair color - clear shine dilutor and then diluting the color with conditioner. Also leaving it in for almost 2 hours helps for it to catch on your hair 😊
I have used this stuff for a loooooong time and I find that it works better if you take Maybe a spoon or something and mix it first, and before you apply the color rinse your hair in warm or hot water, not only do you use less product when your hair is wet but it helps the color last longer
Hello! I have blonde, highlighted hair. How long did this last in your hair and did it ever go back to your original color? I'm doing this for a festival this weekend and don't want it to last more than a month. Is there anything you recommend for a quick pastel pink w/o the mess of chalk?
I'm glad you mentioned the undertones. It's odd that rose isn't a blue toned pink. I tried the salmon and it's basically orange with a slight peach shift. On wondering if blue shampoo with tone down the warmth?
love this, thank you. and thank you for saying where to get it! i'm visiting a new city for a month and never would have known where to go! you're awesome
Pink is a finicky color to keep, so when using any pinks, know that this is difficult to keep in if your hair isn't at the right texture! If you're having trouble with ion dyes, mix the dye with some developer. Developer will open the pores in your hair and allow the dye to settle in. It will not dilute the color, but it makes it easier to spread and the color from ion is bold. (Btw, use the cream developer. The liquidy ones splash everywhere and it's harder to mix.)
OK.. here is what I learned. Yes ION Brights Magenta, Sky Blue, and Neon Cyan are extremely thick, however, they are also bright and highly pigmented. I used conditioner to tone down my Magenta color and it came out purple, if that is what you are going for then it works. However, it produced a very lackluster violet color and I hated it. I put all three colors in my hair in layers, horizontally beginning at the bottom at the nape of my neck and moving up towards my head. They do not bleed if you rinse in cold water, this was really nice because I was seriously worried about colors mixing. Sky Blue is a beautiful blue color, but you have to have level ten blonde hair for it to really show up. I had level ten in some places, and in other places my red hair was tinted... blonde with pink tint. I had a years worth of red in my hair, really hard to get out. Three bleachings later and I had that pink tinted blonde. Leave in for the full 40 minutes, the ION Colors are super great. Follow with ION color conditioner that locks in the color. It does not transfer to clothing, will not bleed when dry. The first two days it will drip a little if it gets wet. I used dry shampoo on mine for day two. I am now on day three re-dyeing my bang section magenta, it was the part with too much conditioner. After I wash my hair hopefully my color will be just as beautiful. : ) Hope this helps anyone looking to dye their hair multiple colors. BTW this stuff will mix into each other while dying, so make sure you keep layers separate with foils. : ) I also learned to use 40 Volume developer not 30 if you have extremely colored hair. I really dislike bleach, I hate the way my hair feels after. I looked like a Racoon having a bad hair day! And my cajun roots came back and my hair was curly for like two days lol.. then it straightened back out after I deep conditioned.
I just did this. At first I did get orange/red-ish tone 2 days ago. I'm about to wash it out now. In the US, it cost $5.00, and I am in love with how yours came out, so I followed the same steps you followed. Thanks for the review Tasha! ~Genna :)
How quickly did it fade? I'm going to dye my hair using one of the Ion Colour Brilliance dyes soon, but I want to know how long it'll last in my hair. Also, how many tubes should I get if my hair is a bit shorter than yours and average thickness? Thanks, I love your videos :)
Sorry if this has already been asked, but what kind of violet dye do you recommend to change the hue of the fade? I love the way this looks on you but I agree, I'd prefer a more rosy fade rather than the goldy-peach tone. Thanks! Awesome video!
ive been wanting to dye my hair pastel colors, pink especially. my hair is dark brown and ive gone bright red before so my hair is bleached and damaged, its all one color now- black. im getting my hair as healthy as possible(the virgin hair) and once it grows out cut off all the dyed and bleacheed, grow that out, bleach it tone it etc and go to this. its gonna take a long time, but im preparing myself :) thank you for making these videos! super helpful
I have a question for you.. So I just saw your Pravana, Pretty in Pink dye video, and I actually used that same color the other day XD LOVE LOVE LOVE it. However, I was coming from dark dark brown, with regrowth of my natural color which was like a reddish mouse blonde. I was able to get my roots a bright almost white, platinum blonde, but after bleaching AND using a bleaching platinum blonde dye and toner, my ends were only able to lighten to a strawberry/ honey blonde. As a result I had the pink REALLY stick to my roots and be a beautiful pastel, while my ends became a pretty pink tinted blonde. While it looks pretty.. I am wanting to go over the darker color with another pink to make it well, more pink xD But I do NOT want it to be too bright. The whole point was to be a softer more subdued look. Do you think the Ion Color Brilliance Rose dye would work for that? To make my ends actually pink, but not be a dark bright "LOOK AT ME IM BRIGHT PINK!!!!" kind of pink?? This is my hair before, and currently. fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfa1/v/t1.0-9/10606218_4520330901737_8106771412916752481_n.jpg?oh=3fd5861f6e8d6964b5e66cc418cdb998&oe=54A3B4DC&__gda__=1418239849_075656b5db6a2fafee4466d0b17bbc21 fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfa1/v/t34.0-12/10668475_4524090355721_1592727649_n.jpg?oh=ed780f09821ecb339aee17394cadc304&oe=540EBD79&__gda__=1410255542_9a9581c91e7f7d962ad4903992fdb8c2
FeatherTail Rush This pink works, it's just real salmon toned so know that. To match exactly to your roots you would have to bleach it out. But I sometimes have that same issue and I don't hate it. It just happens from dying a lot. You know? Good luck girl.
I just used this dye but I didn't put any conditioner to dilute it and I came out with a similar look, within the first wash everything basically washed out and I was left with what Tasha said, a salmony color hue. Overall it was okay, I didn't achieve the very light pastel as I wanted but I'm glad I played with it c:
if you mix conditioner with the dye make sure it is silicone free. If you mix dye with conditioner that isnt the silicone will make it where the dye cant fully penetrate the hair causeing the color to not be as vibrant and it washing out or fading way faster.
I want to dye my ends/tips this color however I have some questions before I do so 1) I am currently growing out my hair from a big chop once it's at the desired length I am dyeing it however my hair is a dark brown color (and 3c curls if that makes a difference) to avoid damage I don't want to bleach it if I don't bleach it what shade of pink will be on my hair? 2) After dyeing what products do I need to take care of my hair? 3) Is the white conditioner necessary? If so where can I find this one used in the video? Thanks! :)
I recently dyed my hair blonde and I want to dye it this pink! Buttt I don't want to have it pink for a long time ! How long does this last? Also I wash my hair every day or every other day. And also I'm concerned if once it fades out will it go back to my normal hair color or will it have a different color even after the pink comes off.
i actually love this salmony pink on you, it suits your skin tone. you look beautiful. i have been using this, the salmon, the flamingo, or some mixture for a while, but since i started using olaplex during my processing, i've been having a bizarre outcome, consistently, in which the first half inch (usually the root area i've just bleached down to a pale yellow, which is the lightest i can get first round without a double process) does not take the pink at all, so i end up with almost platinum roots and good color thereafter. it's freaky. i don't know why or how to stop it. never happened with any other coloring i've done before. so strange! any hairdressers encounter this?
I used white conditioner in the die to get the colour I wanted and it watched right out. It just happened a few minutes ago and I'm glad I bought a second tube now.
Thank you for this video! I plan on dying my hair very soon with this brand in the purple and fuschia and was wondering how long to leave it in. Great video! Your hair looks awesome too btw. 😉
I bought the rose and lavender hair color, 2 boxes of lavender and one of pink. I wasn't sure how much I would need because I usually use manic and theres a different amount. How much would one box cover off of Tasha's hair without the conditioner in there because I'm thinking half and half but don't know if one box is enough for half.
I love this color.. I loved the effect the first day...i left the color on for a whole hour.. I rinsed with cold water.. Its only been 3 days and before i even washed it, it has already faded... Then today i only rinsed and conditioned and its has faded even more!! What am I doimg wrong??? TIA.. Vee
I don't know, I love the pink that you got although I do like a darker pink...I'm about to get this and maybe add a hint of blue to it, with titanium and turquoise and see what happens! Thanks!
Would purple shampoo lessen the salmon color? My friend swears that purples shampoo lengthens the life of her purple hair so would that be like mixing the rose with some violet dye?
You know, with your skin tone the warmer pink actually looks really good! It's very flattering.
I agree!
I agree - this colour looks so gorgeous on her! But the other pink she had using the pravana dye, I just fell so inlove with. It was way too cute on her. But I also think she looks amazing in any colour.
Catherine Kozlov I like the pravana pink also on her, the quality of pigments shows.
Is it just me or do you like it when the coldness of the dye touches your scalp? I really like the feeling.
hehe same 😊
I find it weird! XD
It's honestly my favorite part of the (at home) dying process

I use this dye every time I do pink and the secret is to mix in a bit of the lilac color with it to cancel out the orangeness!

Junryl Molina so if I want a peach color, I could use this color? I'm a yellowish blonde.
it really didn't look that yellow in the before photo, and it was previously dyed pink, and didn't turn that color, she seems to be pretty knowledgeable on the subject
+X L V N X yes, do a strand test first to see if it'll come out the peachy shade you want. If not, you can add a bit of orange dye to the pink to make it more peachy colored.
Hey I have a question
Yes exactly thank youuuuu her hair is too yellow for such a cool pink tone
I know you like the purple toned pink better, but in my opinion the salmon pink looks amazing with your skin, it gives you much more colour than the Pravana one :)
I've never dyed my hair before, but I'm doing this color tonight!! As a, "You're in college, try new things" moment. I'm so excited! I'll be sure to change my profile pic tonight and comment on your video again so you can see it! AHHHH! SO EXCITED!
Cheyenne Goss YAY! So excited to see it lovely!
Sally's ran out so I tried a different pink but here it is!! Check my profile pic!
Annemarie Goss It's cute :)
I wasn't able to do this color because the Sally's near me was sold out of it :( But my hair is now pink nonetheless! I love it so much!
Annemarie Goss I would love to try pink on my hair but I have dark brown hair and don't want to bleach it, so it wouldn't show up. :c
Yes! this is exactly how a hair dye video should be. so much information and no nonsense

Thank you

nighttimingjz There was no developer in here? I don't understand why you're preaching. It's conditioner, no?
Saryna St-Martin She was just referring to the multiple comments on this video telling me that I should have mixed it with developer. That's all love!

For sure!
Same
Same here
+celeste3100 Use a silicon free conditioner and don´t use drugstore hair stuff with silicons
thank you for making this video! i just picked these up at the store yesterday!
I thought you said " $67 at Sally's" girl I was like "WHAT!? YOU THINK THAT'S CHEAP?!" And then I realized you said "$6-$7"
Leyla Love SAME!
Leyla oooo okay i heard the same 😂😂😂 I was like girl that ain’t affordable 😂😂
how long did the color last?
I feel like the ion looks much better than the other dye ... a lot more vibrant and lively. Maybe that's just me idk.
agreed
I use this color.

I dyed my hair blue with the same brand, with no conditioner. The color came out amazing and vibrant. I've washed my hair every other day or every 3 days and it is still pretty vibrant.
If your hair is blonde before you put the dye on will it fade back to blonde. Sorry if that doesn't make sense
Yes it will
Ashley Papp thx so much my hair is a mess 😂
After a very long time it will fade to a blondish, but it will usually have a little bit of the colour before (just very light) for a while, the amount of time depends on the hair dye. Some dye turns silvery when is fades no matter what the colour, but some just fades with the colour it has.

Vanessa Stewart the dye said not to use a developer. so neither. my hair was pretty light (not sure how much it was lifted).

Color dilution is so important, the first time I used this stuff I didn't dilute it and it was a disgusting fuscia/purple-ish mess. So from now on I always use the method she uses for perfect pastels! :)
you kinda look like jenna marbles.
+Nyah yess i was about to say this, ESPECIALLY from the side lol
And the Start is perfect because Jenna's beauty guru parody vid is the same intro and music lmao
Nyah i was gonna say tana but idk
Nyah thank god i wasn't the only one lol
I clicked this vid and checked the comments just to see how many others thought this lol
Thank you soo much for this video tutorial! I personally love warmer toned pinks apposed to more violet colors, so I really am considering this brand. It looks gorgeous~
PLEASE PUT THE MUSIC YOU USE IN THE DESCRIPTIONS D=
SHlRU Goodbye Sky Harbour- Times Square
thank you!
Ive been on youtube all mornng trying to figure out if 1. the ion dye works well and 2. how much to dilute for my desired color.
Your video was the best hands down! Thanks so much.
How long did it stay on your hair? 2 weeks or something? Or will it always stay on?
demi X I used this dye, and it stays on for about a week and a half, maybe 2 weeks. But it really depends on how often you wash your hair, and go swimming and stuff like that, I tend to do that often, so it might stay on longer for you. ^_^
Thanks!!👍
demi X I use ION dyes for my pink hair, but I go for the brighter pinks (I used to use Magenta, which has a tendency to go salmon when it fades, but now I use Hottie Pink, a blue based neon pink). I was my hair about two-three times a week with the ION color safe shampoo and conditioner, and I don't notice much fading until about 4-5 weeks in, but I usually redye it every 6 when I do my roots.
Thankyouu x
They usually say nothing about my hair.
i personally think that the ion dye looks nicer but thats my opinion
Same
Hey! I love that hair colour so much! And do you mind me asking what extensions you use, i have been looking for good ones for forever and those are beautiful!
Can you buy the hair dye without a license?
you can buy it at sally's without a license c:
Yes. I lived on ion for months haha!
Thanks! I'm planing to dye my hair this summer so that helps a lot!
Of course 😂
Hey so I'm sure you know this by now but Sally's has a new line from Ion that is pretty cool. One of the colors is "Smoky Pink"and it's awesome. I know you said your biggest issue with Rose was that it is a little too orange-y pink, so I thought I'd bring up the new color. It's a lot "cooler" as far as tone goes. It also comes in permanent AND demi permanent so it lasts longer than Rose. Just letting you know in case you didn't already. Love your videos!
can you dilutte this with water
????
+Jackie Kolache no
+Nataly Maldonado sorry I forgot to mention that I tried it and the color came out very nice.
if you can dilute developer you could probably do that. Some even thicken hair dye with a special kind of flour.
I dilute with apple cider vinegar, the vinegar helps lock the color in :)
you deserve so many more subscribers your channel is fab 😊
This brand does NOT last! It washes out very quickly and is very thick. I didn't like it at all. Which is a shame cuz the colors look great on the box.
I really like ion! I tried the conditioner trick first but ended up using developer and my hair color has been fantastic ever since!
you are awesome!! im having my hair pink tomorrow and i wanted to ask you two things !
a)is it hard finding something to wear because of your hair color?
b) do you need to constantly wear makeup so it doesnt make you look too pale?
thank you
I also love how peachy it is!
I had never heard of ION but they were on sale sallys a few months ago. I mixed cyan with a version of manic panic pink for my skunk stripe and did straight cyan on the mid ends. The mixed color came out great you just need to make sure to blend them hardcore for a long time as the ION will chunk up.
Wish i could pull this off.. Absolutely love your hair girl!
Wow great job for doing this at home!! I loved how it came out!!
Instead of conditioner, you can use a porosity treatment (same brand, it comes in a spray bottle) and just mix that. It doesn't dilute the color, and it helps it stay for a couple more washes.
Ion is super mixable with different tones.
Whats the name of the product? Never heard about anything like that. Can be use in, for ex, manic panic or other brand?
i am saying this from experience: whenever i dyed my hair right after i bleached it, especialy the very colourful ones and bright ones did not stay. they washed out completly. my experience showed me to better dye them 1 month later. if i am doing roots only, between bleaching and recolouring around 1-2 weeks are enough to wait. and another tip. do not use silicone conditioner or shampoo. helped me a lot too.
Hello! I was just wondering what pink color you use from pravana? (The name of the color)
I prefer their flamingo pink, and a good way to make it less thick but keep the pigment is mixing it with their semi-permanent hair color - clear shine dilutor and then diluting the color with conditioner. Also leaving it in for almost 2 hours helps for it to catch on your hair 😊
'rose' didnt stick to my hair at all sadly ): trying 'salmon' today! hopefully it sticks!
how did it go ?
You have the most adorable hair color I've ever seen!!
Is there anything you recommend for a quick pastel pink w/o the mess of chalk?
pretty colour. it's still vibrant and soft. tried pravana pastel in pink, gone in 2 washes
I actually live the ion one !!!!! It looks like a flamingo !!!! ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
I'm glad you mentioned the undertones. It's odd that rose isn't a blue toned pink. I tried the salmon and it's basically orange with a slight peach shift. On wondering if blue shampoo with tone down the warmth?
Hey Tasha I have a dirty blonde hair color and I was wondering if I could just dye my hair without bleaching it. Thanks!
love this, thank you. and thank you for saying where to get it! i'm visiting a new city for a month and never would have known where to go! you're awesome
I love it I think the iron actually complements your skin a little better than the Pravana
I liked the subtle salmon color. also liked your pravana pink. I like any shade of pink hair.
OK.. here is what I learned.
How u open the can tho lol ? Help pls helping my daughter so idk what I’m doing lol
Rainelishes oh yes we sure did thanks and yes it turned out great 👍 😁 thanks again!
I love your hair! Ion is much better than the other hair dye! its just wow! 👍👍
Thanks! Awesome video!
quick tip chill if you love the color and you don't want to dilute it but it's just too thick to put on you can also use clear conditioner
I love your videos and you look so stunning! But I agree on the shade. I also like the violet toned pink more than the peachy one.
ive been wanting to dye my hair pastel colors, pink especially. my hair is dark brown and ive gone bright red before so my hair is bleached and damaged, its all one color now- black. im getting my hair as healthy as possible(the virgin hair) and once it grows out cut off all the dyed and bleacheed, grow that out, bleach it tone it etc and go to this. its gonna take a long time, but im preparing myself :) thank you for making these videos! super helpful
I mixed mine with a bit of water to dilute it and it turned out great. I use magenta!!
Tasha, how long did this dye last for you before it started noticeably fading? It looks absolutely lovely on you!
You are definitely channeling a Sakura Haruno vibe. I actually love the salmon pink look! Rock on.
It is amazing colour!! Love your hair like this! ❣️❣️
When it says semi permanite how long does the color actually last through washes and stuff??
Loved the colour! Can I ask you how do you apply your extensions? I noticed that you apply from above your head instead of underneath. Thanks :)
I am wanting to go over the darker color with another pink to make it well, more pink xD
But I do NOT want it to be too bright.

FeatherTail Rush This pink works, it's just real salmon toned so know that. To match exactly to your roots you would have to bleach it out. But I sometimes have that same issue and I don't hate it. It just happens from dying a lot. You know? Good luck girl.
thanks. It worked pretty well
Hi I am wondering, did you use any volumizer and how long did you leave in your hair for? Also I like the Ion look on your hair better then prevana.
i love this peachy touch in it *-*
I just used this dye but I didn't put any conditioner to dilute it and I came out with a similar look, within the first wash everything basically washed out and I was left with what Tasha said, a salmony color hue. Overall it was okay, I didn't achieve the very light pastel as I wanted but I'm glad I played with it c:
This dye stained my hands but I don't mind at all. I'm going to Sally's ASAP to get my 2nd tube!
if you mix conditioner with the dye make sure it is silicone free. If you mix dye with conditioner that isnt the silicone will make it where the dye cant fully penetrate the hair causeing the color to not be as vibrant and it washing out or fading way faster.
I want to dye my ends/tips this color however I have some questions before I do so
1) I am currently growing out my hair from a big chop once it's at the desired length I am dyeing it however my hair is a dark brown color (and 3c curls if that makes a difference) to avoid damage I don't want to bleach it if I don't bleach it what shade of pink will be on my hair?
2) After dyeing what products do I need to take care of my hair?
3) Is the white conditioner necessary? If so where can I find this one used in the video?
Thanks! :)
That looks really nice.
It is amazing this colour love this hair! How long does it last the colour to fade away the pink..?
i actually love this salmony pink on you, it suits your skin tone. you look beautiful. i have been using this, the salmon, the flamingo, or some mixture for a while, but since i started using olaplex during my processing, i've been having a bizarre outcome, consistently, in which the first half inch (usually the root area i've just bleached down to a pale yellow, which is the lightest i can get first round without a double process) does not take the pink at all, so i end up with almost platinum roots and good color thereafter. it's freaky. i don't know why or how to stop it. never happened with any other coloring i've done before. so strange! any hairdressers encounter this?
I love your pink hair! 💕
I would freaking love pink hair that's gorgeous
I use this hair dye and sometimes Manic Panic cotton candy and it washes out very quickly, I have to redye it once a week. How about you?
