  • This is my San Diego travel vlog! We were here for four nights so we got to have a beach day, visit Coronado Island and cycle around the island. We went out two of the nights while we were here which were great fun. (but also had a grim hangover one of the days). We went to Balboa park on our last day and this place is stunningggg. There's different landmarks to visit while you're in there so I would definitely recommend visiting if you're in San Diego.
This is the most southern stop on our California road trip. Next up, Palm Springs!
We have three more stops on this road trip so don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss any videos 🫶🏻🌴
I hope you enjoy the video. Thanks so much for watching 🩵

NOOOO! Can't be over! Dag nabbit! Love Jessie time.. Jessie, did Eve get inside the Coronado? A personal *San Diego (or Palm Springs? - Don't remember) memory that I think you'd appreciate - circa 1967-8?. I was about 6 or 7, Jessie, with my parents. We went to see the original "Planet of the Apes" in a movie theatre there - an early evening show. Already knew that we were heading into a film that was eerie, something different, but when we got up to the ticket booth, the ticket person was in an ape mask - but a very sophisticated, realistic one like in the movie. As a kid, this freaked me out pretty deeply. I never forgot the "feel" of that evening. (Big California trip with my parents - many cities.. Remember being on the LA freeway, and the Dionne Warwick song, "Do you know the Way to San Jose" kept repeating on the car radio.. ) Big hug, Jessie. I'm really enjoying these, and hate when they end.

Hahahaha sorryyyy! Palm Springs vlog will be up tomorrow 😍
We actually didn’t go inside the Coronado Hotel. We just walked around the outside and through the back/on to the beaches.
I can imagine that was pretty scary for a 6/7 year old to see. Everything seems so real when you’re that young. Mad that the memory is still with you aswel.
