      Yes, the country is leading innovation and I especially like the fact that they integrate the fruits of this innovation into daily life.

    Пересматриваю видео о Таллинне . Вспоминаю своё летнее путешествие в Таллинн. Прекрасная страна, отличный город . Грустно. Но надеюсь Швеция будет не хуже. До встречи летом в Швеции. 🥰

      @@HappyLifeAbroad A question for you. In your opinion, is Russian or Estonian more difficult to learn for an English speaker?

    • @HappyLifeAbroad
      @HappyLifeAbroad  3 года назад

      @@comrade916 Oh, that is a tricky question. Because I never learned Russian as a foreign language, I may be ignorant of its full complexity. However, from my perspective, Estonian is more difficult grammatically. Although Russian comes the Cyrillic alphabet and non-trivial spelling rules. So, for an English speaker both are probably comparable in terms of required effort.
      BUT! There are waaaay more resources for learners of Russian out there, which makes it significantly easier to progress.

    • @comrade916
      @comrade916 3 года назад +1

      @@HappyLifeAbroad Personally, I find Russian a beautiful language.. I'm considering retiring in Estonia in a few years.. I have heard that the majority of Narva are Russian speakers.. Anyway, spasibo bolshoi for all the information..
      Enjoy the good weather your having in Estonia this season..

      I haven't been to Narva yet, but yes, it is basically a Russian-speaking city.
      Hope you will like it here in Estonia :)

    Wow its so beautiful, is it normally this much less crowded or it is just something due to the pandemic?

    • @HappyLifeAbroad
      @HappyLifeAbroad  3 года назад +1

      I haven't lived in Tallinn in off pandemic times, but I heard from locals that usually it is much more crowded because of tourists. Especially the old town.

    What online marketplaces can you use in Estonia? I guess Amazon is not available... Do they have local online marketplaces?

    • @HappyLifeAbroad
      @HappyLifeAbroad  3 года назад +2

      I haven't used anything other than Amazon for now. You can go to the German Amazon site (the closest) or the UK. The delivery time is not so bad, but the delivery cost starts at around 6-8€ 😓. I'll let you know if I buy anything from local marketplaces.

      @@HappyLifeAbroad www.osta.ee/ has become big hit among Estonians

    • @AlexLuik
      @AlexLuik 3 года назад +2

      Amazon is available! The german one is the best, delivery is relatively fast at times (2 to 3 days), and it goes through Itella service - you can get it delivered to your nearest robot parcel locker or by a courier right to your doorstep. Other than that - astri.ee, hansapost.ee, photopoint.ee, osta.ee, okidoki.ee and facebook marketplace are good places to find anything you'd want.

    As an estonian i wonder now, why is it that skirt goes to "selga", like shirts and jackets, but trousers go to "jalga", like shoes or slippers. Basically they both fill the same function of covering ones a**e. Go figure!
