May the most high bless and protect this country, heal the people, open their eyesight, clear their minds, let any weapons formed be it mental or physical, not proper, let us all Africans forcus our minds to tear down the shackles that binds us. We have to envision ourselves as great people, envision any weapons formed against us and the African continent will not prosper, envision us uniting against all our enemies be it physical or spiritual. We have the power as a collective to manifest this, just believe that we can do this.

Zimbabweans fell in a trap of sharing negativity bout their country. I think they thought everyone was on their side. They did not know people knew little about zim in the first place. So the negativity stuck. Zimbabwe is an amazing country. One of the best countries l have been to.

I was telling my Ghanaian friend that Southern African countries are the best in Africa, and he didn't believe me. He was bragging to me that Ghana was the best, and I told him that Central and West Africa have the driest countries in the world. Zimbambwe, Namibia, Botwana, Lesotho, and South Africa are super clean. And if you live with the theme, you will notice that they don't have the mentality of the West and Central Africa. They don't travel much, and they are comfortable with their country.

Peanut butter soup, it’s basically what we call groundnut soup in parts of Nigeria. The swallow in Nigeria is called Tuo massara mostly in northern Nigeria, there’s also Tuo shinkafa (made with rice), there’s also gari (made with cassava) and fufu (made with cassava) then pounded yam. This is relatively similar around Africa. Just different names

    • @marigoldbeam5475

We have peanut stew in Zimbabwe too, you can make it with any meat, chicken, beef. I think the West African reference to 'soup' is what threw my brother and sister. In Zimbabwe soup literally means soup. The type that is prepared and eaten alone, usually as an entree in western cuisine. In Zimbabwe what you call soup, we call stew.

@wodemaya the fufu you guys make with cassava and mix with plantain,, we make something similar but its mixed with maize and we call it Nni oka. But the one with only cassava is called fufu for (Igbo/calabar people - Eastern Nigeria) we also call it akpu (white in color) and other tribes in Nigeria enjoy it.
Pounded or poundo yam (made from yam), Amala ( brown or white in color is made from dried yam or plantain) Yoruba - western Nigeria,
Tuwo Shinkafa (from rice), Tuwo masara (frm corn flour) Northern Nigeria,
Starch known as Usi (from cassava) southern Nigeria
Semovita/Semolina/Semo is (from wheat) (general for Nigerians)
Garri or Eba (from cassava) general for all Nigerians
We also pound red cocoyam and wheat (fufu) though not common.
    There's oatmeal fufu (from oat)
All these swallow can go with any soup.
Comment your fufu or swallow if similar.
