Hey Mic, anecdotally, I encourage a friend that was due to have prostate surgery because of cancer to cut out or at least down on animal products and increase plant foods. Long story short he reduced to varying degrees but managed to reduce his PSA levels to a point where his doctors felt surgery was no longer necessary.
We could also see his PSA levels rise and fall depending on how much or how little animal product he was consuming. Not conclusive but very interesting, I feel with a stricter diet the cancer could have been cured but as an older person he was happy to just keep it under control.

Neu5Gc is naturally found on cell surfaces in most mammals but not in humans. It gets incorporated into human cells by eating meats, organs and some dairy products.
Previous studies have shown when Neu5Gc is incorporated into human tissues, the immune system recognizes it as a foreign threat, producing antibodies to counter it. Repeated consumption of these meats then causes chronic inflammation, which has been known to increase risks of tumor formation. Neu5Gc has been linked to cancer as well as cardiovascular and other inflammatory diseases, including some bacterial infections.

I have been researching both vegan and carnivore diets in recent months and have come to the conclusion that both can work depending on the person. It’s the elimination of sugar and junk foods that convey most of the benefits. I thought I would share one of my observations though from watching hundreds of videos from both communities:
The carnivore community videos tend to have hundreds if not thousands of people sharing their experiences on carnivore which are 99.99% very positive. It’s often difficult to find even a single example where some had a bad experience on it. I would say at least 90% say it cleared up an array of illnesses and people feel amazing on it. These comments rarely mention vegans or a vegan style of eating. It is rare to find a case of someone who ate carnivore and switched to vegan and said they feel better or that it was the best thing they ever did.
The vegan community is littered with people castigating meat eaters and dismissing carnivore, often with a smug or hateful attitude. I understand that many people have an idealogical aversion to killing animals. It is quite common to find people who were ill on vegan and cured themselves when they switched to carnivore. Of course there are a majority that also feel great on vegan too.
I notice that it is overwhelmingly the Vegan community that spreads FUD. It is then those same “experts” that seek to sell you you on all kinds of potions, supplements and procedures. My spidey senses are tingling. In my life experience when someone hits me with FUD and then offers a solution which I need to pay for it is usually BS.
Let me give you one of hundreds of examples of this. I watched a carni video talking about SIBO, they said the vast majority of people see improvement within 2 weeks of a meat based, zero card diet. They tried to see me nothing. Then I saw the vegan community discussing this. They said it needed to be analyzed via a stool sample and then promoted a $250 stool analysis service. I see this pattern again and again and again.
Like I said, I think both diets have their benefits but do your research folks and question those spreading FUD and selling you stuff as a supposed panacea.

You said it! The arguments back and forth about: is it healthy, is it not healthy. These could go on forever. What usually doesn't get mentioned and the 'elephant in the room' is the fact that animals are born to suffer, intensely, and in horrific conditions 24/7! And, the fact is we don't need meat to survive. It seems pretty clear that many, maybe most people, don't have any sense of ethics or real concern about the lives and suffering of other animals.

I found him once again to be slinging psych advice that was maybe okay for the addicts but then he went to say stuff about other psychiatric conditions that were iffy. He's not a psychiatrist. So am I surprised that he's now slinging dubious claims on red meat consumption? Not at all. My anecdotal evidence is that since my stroke and takotsubo syndrome episode my cardiologist advised me to stay WFPB for life. Since my last cholesterol test yielded a total score of 89 I can only assume that is keeping my stroke free and coronary arteries clean.

    Great response Mike.
Red meat? More like Darth Steaker, menacing our arteries with the dark side of cholesterol. Ditch the dark side of Darth Steaker and his cholesterol-fueled reign of terror. Grab your light saber (made of celery, naturally) and join the legume rebellion! We've got chickpeas, lentils, and the moral high ground (because, let's face it, saving cows and the planet is pretty heroic).
Remember Neo dodging bullets in The Matrix? That's basically you ignoring the link between red meat and increased mortality. It's like choosing the red meat pill, leading you down a path paved with clogged arteries and potential health setbacks.
The red meat myth perpetuated by "internet doctors" who look more like they got their medical degree from Dr. Google than a real university. These characters are like the Kardashians of nutrition - all hype and no substance, with research as reliable as a fortune cookie written by a malfunctioning printer. They might sound fancy with their "Dr. Steakenstein" and "Dr. Butterfingers" titles, but their claims are about as credible as a unicorn winning the Tour de France.
But let's be real, blaming carbs for your health woes is like blaming the sun for a sunburn. Complex carbs are the Robin to your Batman, providing energy, fiber, and a gut party that would make even the grumpiest digestive system do the happy dance.
I'm not sure what's more concerning: the fear of carbs or the lack of awareness about the rainforest-destroying consequences of certain dietary choices.

The problem with your post is that it doesn’t reflect reality. I eat a carnivore diet and my blood work is impeccable. When I go close to zero carb I feel and perform much better than when I am not in ketosis.

"Theyre acting like dogs." Man i remember having that epiphany when i was at an elephant sactuary in Thailand and they were jumping around just like that under a waterfall. Then later that year exact same thing with a little baby moose in grand tetons. Same way little kids just run for the feeling of running. Both experiences felt very unifying

Jimmy Dore loves to talk about stuff he knows nothing about. For example, he weighed in against the COVID-19 vaccines and recommended ivermectin as a treatment despite no compelling evidence that it works. As your clip of his earlier compassion for cows demonstrates, he has changed over time. In the beginning, he didn't promote quackery like he does now. I never took him that seriously, but I used to enjoy watching his show. Now I find him insufferable. He's obviously tailoring his views to attract a new and much larger audience of angry conspiracy buffs.
