Actually Halo Reach is all canon. Bungie simply didn't explain it well enough. They released articles of information after the game to fill in the gaps that Bungie failed to explain.
I think prototype is by far my favourite episode of halo legends. Maybe just because I’m a mechanic fan, but I really like it’s story. Babysitter was also really good tho. Actually, now that I think about it, I gotta mention the duel episode too. The sangheli are a powerful race if they return to their roots.
People whose life are sacrificied, who give up on friendship, love and normality. People who were forced to become that. Yet they accepted it, to fight and to die for Mankind... We'd need some of that nowadays.
