I like how the halo legends stories are meant to be non-canonical but somehow are alot more accurate to the source material than the live action tv show.
They actually are canon. The only part of halo legends that is strictly non-canon is the short Odd One Out (the dragon ball style one) Now a lot of Halo Legends has issues, but a lot of it can be chalked up to “artistic liberties” such as weird young Halsey in The Package or an unreliable narrator in the case or Origins I+II due to Cortana’s rampancy and lacking all the information

What I would give for Proper Halo TV show or a movie that Gives ODST's and/or some marine a spotlight to show how _desperate and terrifying_ war against covenant was... The Babysitter episode (including this) is damn great because these episodes highlight Humane side of every soldier or Spartan and the odds what humanity was up against.
Fun fact, even though he’s a normal Marine (well normal physically), he was listed as MIA instead of KIA. Just like a Spartan when they die since Spartans are never listed as KIA just MIA.
The one thing I loved and looked into when it came to the lore is this same battle with this prototype suit is the same skirmish Atriox was part of that lead to the creation of the banished, in fact the banished was formed after the battle for the heart of the midlothian which was the ship the unsc was evacuating to in this episode but I could be wrong about it. One thing that can help support this is when Atriox stated "Remeber Algolis! remember that demonstration of courage, might and relentless fury!"

I've never played Halo nor I watched this movie: Halo Legends. But god dang this AMV welled up some primal emotion inside of me. And the music choice was superb. No rock/rap/electronic music couldn't have matched the tone imho.

He lived as a soldier and at the very end he didn't try to escape, he didn't try to surrender (I don't know the lore of HALO and I don't know if that was even possible) the point is he didn't try to survive like any normal "human" would. Halo Legends, the birth child of a company that decided they wanted to do something with Halo with their own little twists added to it but still stays true to the source material. If only a certain company would have done the same.

Ghost should've been awarded the Legion of Honor, the Halo equivalent of the MOH, for this he went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure his men got off the planet knowing that he would die doing so. Rest in peace sergeant Ghost for your sacrifice was not in vain
The prototype might be one of the most lore accurate story to the halo universe,the suit will later on be developed into mantis, colossus mech, Cyclops,and hrunting mk series power armor made for special forces.
