Sir, I say this respect. Even reverence. Your optimism in regards to the regulatory agencies is painful to behold. You are obviously a man of honor and integrity and look for the good when looking into the cesspool of corruption that is our government . SADLY, if one has questions as to why the FDA does something, follow the money. F,M, J,&J obviously has them in a financial stranglehold, otherwise the FDA would not have ceased to apply scientifically-based, non-biased evaluative standards for the boosters, children's vaccines...and so forth. I feel nauseous when I think of how the agencies that SHOULD exist to protect US citizens, are in reality, funded and serve the pharmaceutical agencies.

Novavax took this long to be approved because Pfizer and Moderna did not want it to interfere with their profit margins. Now, since these two companies have raked in billions FDA considered it less threatening ( to the 2companies) to release Novavax into the market in the US.

I'm from australia, and back in Jan 2022 my wifes' work was going to mandate vaccines. However they were going to let my wife work without being vaccinated (she is valuable to them). This didn't sit well with either of us.
This is a bit of a rant but also shows how corrupted and stupid businesses are. Not only the businesses, but the general population who didn't want to work with unvaccinated people. All the media and governments doing.
Her employer offered a one on one consultation with non other than Professor Paul Griffin. He had recently made a speach regarding Covid and Vaccination to the entire business. Even I knew the half of what he was talking about was questionable and in some cases was simply categorically incorrect. The guy was involved with Novavax direct, how could people think he wasn't bias???
I'm so proud of my wife, she resigned. She said she would not work in a business where she would be responsible for sacking employees for something that she is exempt from and does not believe in.
What really grinds my gears is I'm no doctor. I'm no scientist. However, after 2+ years reading medical journals and researching the immune system, covid and their mechanisms even I knew, that the study was a stinking pile of poo. What they measured was just another trial to designed to provide a particular outcome, the one they want. I saw the outomes were no different (or very little) to that of Moderna, Pfizer and AZ. Whatever they're doing, more people in the vaccinated group die and there's severe reactions recorded. it is INSANITY.

Dr. Vinay. With respect, anyone who is an adult who never had or never knew they had covid and who never got any vaccine will not likely take this one. Why on earth would they when they've survived the worst Wuhan, Apha, Beta, Delta etc variants? As an older person who never knowingly had covid or got any vaccines I'm confident in not needing any vaccine. Clearly our immune systems are iable to fend off covid. Maybe because of strong T cells or just being healthy with no comorbidities or addictions.
Given the fact that the Omicron B4 and B5 are extremely transmissible and B5 is "moderately" more virulent than the previous B omicron variants doesn't mean we're all doomed. (I changed this 07/15/ because I felt I wasn't specific enough about the moderate degree of virulence in B5. Some data
shows it moving into the lungs but in no way as severe as pre omicron variants) The omicron variants were very mild. The moderate increased virulence of B5 shouldn't be alarming. It is in no way as deadly as the initial Wuhan etc variants. The vulnerable and those with comorbidities who want to continue on with vaccine boosters or participating in new experiments with others "drugs" should do so if they Choose. The rest of us are fine to keep healthy and live live as normal. We will move forward instead of being paralyzed by more of the same unproven back and forth information and

I see a lot of comments here about the spike protein. But one point everyone seems to be missing is that the mRNA products are designed to turn your cells into a spike protein mass production factory on a huge scale. Initially we were told that this would only last for a short period but eventually studies were actually done and seemed to indicate this process was going on much longer than intended, which could account for the excessive inflammation leading to myocarditis and all the other related issues. The Novavax injection simply adds a fixed number of these proteins into your body and thus it seems fair assume the associated risks would be much lower, and the results seem to bear this out.

Not only the spikes are inflammatory, but also the vehicle for delivering them. There is probably an interplay of various factors, including individual physiology, which also explains the relatively wide range of potential post-vac complications (with things like myo-/periocarditis being a fairly straightforward example).
Some refs: "The mRNA-LNP platform's lipid nanoparticle component used in preclinical vaccine studies is highly inflammatory" by Ndeupen et al. and "Potential implications of lipid nanoparticles in the pathogenesis of myocarditis associated with the use of mRNA vaccines against SARS-CoV-2" by Tsilingiris et al.

Then we would all now have T and B memory cells to all the less mutagenic proteins, like the nucleocapsid and matrix proteins. Likely this would much more closely mimic natural immunity and would be more broadly efficacious across new variants. You are clearly someone with great integrity - your videos have in fact helped to restore some of my damaged faith in the medical establishment. Thank you - at a time like this, that is a true gift.
I think that you're probably too inclined to give the FDA the benefit of the doubt, though. I know you want to be charitable in relation to them stalling on the approval of Novavax, but let's face it - the clinical trial evidence for the other vaccines was never very solid, and yet they were approved. They obviously aren't dragging their feet because they are being cautious - if that were true then they would have applied that same caution to the other approvals. There's something else at play.
Surely, in the absence of any clear reasonable explanation, you must start to genuinely consider that perhaps their motivations were not reasonable. I can guarantee that many others feel that way, and I am one of them.

My theory, which I have no data to substantiate, and only comes from a political science perspective: Novavax didn't make the cut until now because it's NOT using the mRNA technology that Pfizer and Moderna use. Yes, there's the Janssen product, but I suspect the mRNA component was a big determining factor in the push to get vaccines accelerated and ready to go faster. We can speculate as to whether or not vaccines were already in development for the virus prior to it being unleashed upon the world (I'll put on my tinfoil hat now), but ultimately, if the mRNA vaccine technology is easier and faster to develop than the old school, attenuated virus style that we see in more tried and true vaccines. Tt stands to reason that seizing the opportunity to rapidly develop those and prove them in the market is something that the pharmaceutical companies wouldn't want to pass up, particularly if it means they could use the results of Operation Warp Speed to further their ability to produce new vaccines more rapidly in the future. I do believe this leads to vaccine products that only stem the tide, rather than damming the river, so to speak. I'm not sure that's a good thing, but time will tell.

Normally I get viral induced asthma, but I didn't with Covid, I don't know if it's because of the vaccine or not. But then I caught another virus only 5 weeks later, not sure if it was the flu? And that was a lot worse than Covid. I was surprised that I caught another virus so soon, generally I only ever get maybe one virus a year or every two years. Last time I had so many virus together was when I had the flu vaccine 18 years ago, I never had a flu vaccine after that. Sometimes, I just don't know what to think of it all.

The 2nd Pfizer made me so sick. I opted not to get a booster. I haven’t had Covid yet and haven’t had a dose of vaccine for 14 mos. I may consider novavax. This time I’m going to wait and see! With my Pfizer I got it the first day available. I am still wearing an N95 mask everywhere so I might not get anymore vaccines and just mask up.

They keep bringing up emergency authorization but here in Wa state hospitals are going broke and on the verge of closing.
Doesn’t make sense. Still a big money grab in all directions with never ending contradictions.

A year late. Might have taken it then. Now double infected, double recovered. No thanks.

one who advocates any specific vaccine should test it himself... 100times!.. on stream!..

It was manufacturing. They struggled with purity. First, they could not make it pure on their own. The solution was to send vaccine manufactured by Serum Institute of India to the USA. You can note in the VRBPAC that only one efficacy trial was reviewed because the vaccine manufactured for other trials was not approved and that data was not used.

    1. What makes one think that novavax is effective for the variants we have right now?
    2. It still has the spike protein.

    • @vnevala

Its spike protein isn't real. It's a kind of decoy. Your immune system still attacks it though and learns. The quantity injected is also a known, fixed quantity -- unlike mRNA where the "messenger" directs your cells to become spike protein factories. There's no control on how many of your cells become factories, how many spike proteins they produce, or over what period. To me that's the real problem with the mRNA injections. Novavax, with a fixed known quantity of decoy spikes doesn't need to sneak past your immune system to cause your own body to manufacture pathogenic substances. It's just straightforward - here's the decoy, the body notices and attacks, learning while doing so. No uncontrolled cellular generation.

@@vnevala I was more enthusiastic about it, not sure right now. In Europe it was available since last December, now EMA gave a health alert for severe allergic reactions. Plus not convinced it's really effective for the new variants, wasn't designed for these.
I'm not a fun of mRNA either btw.

TBH. I have not had Cov19 to my knowledge and I didn't get jabbed given my caution regarding experimental meds and after the C19 experience I would not take anything offered but rather concentrate on maintaining my natural immune system.
