If it's good enough for Al...then it's good enough for the rest of us. He's used it all. The reissue is a brand new U67. Comparing it to a vintage will inevitably have some MINOR differences due to variance of the old manufacturing, and the aging of the circuit components, tube, and capsule. The chance to have an honest to goodness brand new U67-direct from Neumann, that is NOT a clone, using whatever...but honest to goodness Neumann products, is a golden opportunity. I am pulling the trigger on one a reissue in the next few days. It's simply a no brainer.
