Ok when the horse laid down next to her; that was one of the most beautiful natural things I've ever seen.
Okay, so WHY would anyone dislike this video?? The horses are beautiful, the music is beautiful, and it shows the horses' amazing ability and willingness to do what their partner wants them to do. If they didn't want to do it, they would balk!
Nothing is better than seeing years of hard work with a neglected and badly abused ex race horse come together. I spent months just trying to be able to touch him. And now, here we are four years later. Yesterday I took my first bareback and brideless ride on him, across a meadow. It was incredible. I felt so accomplished that not only had I earned his trust, but, I trusted him enough to ride him bareback and brideless. The things that natural horsemanship can do are amazing.

My first pony is turning 30 this year and is still going strong. I got him when he was 12 and we have a bond I can't describe. When my son died aged 15 months he helped me through it. I don't know where I'd be without him and I fear the day I will loose him too.
The woman and the Gray horse dancing at the start and end of this is so very beautiful, The communication between them is breathtaking- If I had a horse that is how I'd want to be with it-trusting of me. What a wonderful video.
Fantastic video, made my heart swell and tears comoe to my eyes. Most people don't realize this kind of relationship can be developed with any horse and handler if the right teaching methods are constistently applied. The levels shown in this video prove it can be done!

this makes me fall in love with my horse/horses in general all over again. I'm so glad that I'm one of the lucky people who immediately bonded with their horse and can do things like ride bareback and (sometimes).bridleless. I would trust my horse with anything. I also agree that one of my dreams is to own a gorgeous Arabian and gallop bareback and brideless through the desert or down a beach.
for all u ppl out there who dont belive in natrual horse man ship are really missing out im training my horswe with these methods and its amazing i can go anywere on our property and call my horse and he comes and i ride him home bare back and bridleless.this program is amazing

i would love to have a bond with my horse like that. I trust her to the end of the earth but i need her to trust me more too because i get nervous when i ride.

I was looking for a video to share with my students and inspire them on their "whisperers'" journeys, I wanted something showing quality in horsemanship, dreams fulfilled and visual beauty, with nice, moving music if possible...thought I was being too demanding :) After watching 3 sec of your video I knew I'd found it. It moves me just as much as the first time every time I watch it! Thank you!
From age 2 to 40, I always rode with a Hackamore bit. I haven't rode a horse in almost 20 years now. I am old and sick and I miss it so very much.
This is beautiful, nothing to do with a fancy saddle or a bridle with 9 pressure points... pure and in it's original form.
Oh yes there is...running free across an english meadow with 2 Clydedales running freely beside you not because I make them do it but because they want to. Priceless! Hugs XX

i Had a very special connection with a chestnut TB mare who unfortunately wasn't ''mine'' but we clicked [I was her groom] She threw one too many riders, and this caused her to be sold when I was on holiday.She was a ''one person'' horse, and let me and my little son ride her with no wild behaviour. It absolutely broke my heart, and just hope she and i will 're-connect'' in the afterlife-this happened 20 yrs ago, and I have not yet met such a ''soulmate'' horse again.

I have a welsh pony myself, she's gorgeous and I love her to death. There is definitely an intimate connection between horse and man- you just have to find the right one.

A bit is DESIGNED to inflict pain. It is indeed used to control your horse. If you have an actual relationship with your horse you do not need to control your horse with pain inflicting devices. It is very well possible to communicate with your horse without the use of any pain-inflicting instruments.
Beautiful! Love it!!! I know I have heavy hands so I ride with a halter/lead rope or a hackamore...and only use a saddle cause I need the stirrups to get on when out on trail cause I can't always find a stump to use as a ladder!!!
So happy that someone happy to see that Parelli & others have found a way to teach what I have been called a witch for doing. Bits & Saddles are NOT needed. Don't get why they teach NOT to look into their eyes as this is crucial for me. Have seen sooo many horses beaten due to aggressive & inexperienced "cowboy types". What matters is that it is working,less cruelty & more communication is a win win situation for everyone.

I agree. I went to camp last summer, and I was in the ring with a newer rider, and I literally wanted to jump off my horse, yank her off hers, pull the bit out of that poor horse's mouth, and yell at her that she didn't need to jerk on the bit, that her horse was moving. Some people just don't realize how hard they're pulling, or that the horse is working to do what you want them to. It was worse, because the horse, I knew for sure, had a very sensitive mouth. Poor Velvet.

i don't believe in the methods of natural horsemanship, however the demonstrations i've seen are admirable and very, very, beautiful.

Not every horse can go bitless. I rode a older warmblod gelding (so his body was not in peak shape) with the energy of a much younger horse. If you put him in a bitless bridle, hackamore, or even some bits, he'd run right through your hands.
This didn't worry me for me, because I could handle it, but without a strong bit, he would get extremely strung out, and end up tripping and hurting himself. I would rather keep a hold of his mouth with a bit rather than him hurt himself badly.

im soo lucky I have a horse and I have a very strong bond with him sometimes I just plan to go feed him because I have plans and end up staying with him all day .We just play and go out wondering and riding with no bridal or saddle sometimes even with my pj's on lol , he is my boy I protect him ,he protects me I think thats the way it should be :) and I lovee this ! xx
