It's a real soothing soft indie style album, different from their first album 'Magnolia' which is also awesome and actually more pop-punk/alternative. The change in sound from their previous album is really refreshing.
This comment will probably get lost in the void but, I’m new to guitar and i absolutely love this song. That being said when it comes to learning it I know what guitar tabs are but, are people able to learn to play other songs but just listening to them? I think that’s pretty sick if it’s true.
I'm using a touch of chorus and a lot of reverb. This is also the first time I turned the gain knob on my guitar down really low and turned up the volume on my amp up. It actually helps the clean tone tremendously
Neato, may I suggest a cover of a song by Seasons Change, they just released a pretty solid debut album via No Sleep, sounds like your taste and I enjoy your covers a whole bunch
Barring that fret lets you play any note on the barred strings while playing notes that are higher near it. Without barring you would have to make a weird shape with your fretting fingers and it makes it much more difficult or impossible to play the progression
Johan Hernandez i really wish i had a good answer haha. i just go back and forth as fast as i can. the ending of this song with the tremolo picking is drained in reverb so it sounds really smooth. if i took the reverb off though it would sound really bad.

Run your guitar very clean, play through the neck pickup to give it a very warm tone, add some reverb and youre set!!
