    thank you!! ive learned so muh with you and youre actually the only one influencer i trust. I have been struggling with acne for a year (i am 15) and i am extremily insecure of my skin since 99% of the people around me have clear skin without doing nothing. I'm so glad that products aren't the only solution. I used to think that gut health and all weren't important and that products were the only important things but apparently no. You are truly an angel,i cannot thank you enough

    Hi Millie! Just wanted to say thank you so much for your channel! I have looked everywhere for someone who is actually genuine and ready to discuss other ways that skin can heal other than medication and skin care products and was so happy when I found you! Your videos are so helpful for me and reassuring, and make me feel so much better! I am a 16 year old girl living in scotland and have been really down recently, my skin has been at its worse, exams are just over the horizon (after just finishing my set from this year!), so many assignments are due and some family members have passed away so I have been really stressed about everything! Despite no improvements being made quite yet with my skin, I am very confident and so happy that I have found your channel, thank you! My skin is very similar to how yours was so glad about that and glad that I can compare it in a way. I just have a question about my period cycles, my skin is best when I am ovulating and what is the proper reason for this? Can I keep it that way? Thank you so much, and keep on posting and being the beautiful glowing queen you are!! ❤❤❤❤

    I've been vegan for 10 years (since I was 16) and I definitely don't recommend it for most people. According to research a traditional Mediterranean diet is healthiest for most people. I eat whole foods-plant based and on top of doing tons of research I took nutrition courses in college, which is to say a well rounded vegan diet takes a lot of education. I personally have digestive problems that require a strict diet, but veganism doesn't automatically equal perfect health.

    Hey Millie, thank you for this video! I’ve been having celery and turmeric and ginger drinks, hormone balancing teas etc for the past two and a half months as well as starting retinol, I thought i was past the purge stage however since increasing the dosage ive noticed my skin is more oily and breaking out more but so not sure if thats due to being near my period or because of the retinol! Would you recommend exfoliating as well as the retinol on my rest days (as i heard you mention skin cycling in your other video). Xxx

    • @LifeWithMils
      @LifeWithMils  4 месяца назад +3

      cortisol causes inflammation in the body, but everyone presents inflammation differently, for some it’s acne, for some it’s eczema, for some it’s mental health conditions, and for some it’s a combination. Hope that made sense💗

    Hey! I was wondering, how can I know the difference between purging skin and irritation from products like retinol and salicylic acid? I have been using the inkey list salicylic acid cleanser, and it seems like I’m breaking out from it, especially when I focus on cleansing for 60 seconds every day (including an oil cleanser first for 60 seconds). Can this be too harsh on my skin and causing breakouts? It even seems like not cleansing my skin everyday makes my skin better and calmer.

      Definitely look into getting a water filter that you can attach to your shower. I had this same issue when moving to London and I couldn’t fit one onto my shower so I washed my face using water from my “brita jug” it’s basically a water filter jug. Not the most ideal situation but it’s better than using the hard water to wash my face each night💗
