@@GEISHAGAMING actually it makes sense, in the series akiko can only save someone from death if they are about to die, there is actually an scene were she is severy injured but not enough to use her power so she uses her hairpin to cut her veins, and suddenly she wakes up and give the enemy a punch on the face.
