"Baam" means "night" in korean, but the voice-acting is japanese, so they called him "Yoru", which also means "night". And now he's going by "Jue Viole Grace" since "Baam" is supposed to be dead.
I loved reading this manhwa back in the day, it had a terrible english translation but still enjoyable. I they adapt the following arc well, this might be a awesome season!
with yihwa yeon, you have encountered the fourth of the 10 great family names 😎 in the following, i will summarize the family names encountered thus far and include one teeny tiny detail that isnt a real spoiler, but also isnt known just yet so i figured i might issue a warning: the first one being the ha family, of which yuri is a member the second one is the khun family, we know that one quite well the third one is the lo po bia family, of which the rice ball-looking guy (ren) at the end of season 1 is a member and the fourth one is yeon, of which yihwa is a member 6 more to go lets gooooooo (btw jahad is not one of them)

One thing I dont understand is rankers. S1 said rankers are those who reached the top. But now people who pass floor 20 are e-rankers. Does that mean when when they said "reached the top" they just meant "climbed to a high floor"? Or are those two types of rankers different like how there is Administrator (monster native to the tower) and floor administrator (ranker managing the floor)?
Okay, so they didn't really explain it here. A ranker is someone who's climbed to the highest level of the tower. What they're referring to here is a letter grade rank for the regulars. So passing floor 20 makes you an E ranked Regular but not a ranker.

Not really, in season 1 the art style and animation matched the webtoon (source material), and the webtoon changed art styles for season two, and the anime changed to reflect that, too
Tower of god season 2 turn into s1 or classroom of the elite s1 mid and max decent mid adaptation like horimiya s1 type again . They adapt same as 90% to 93% or 94% / 94%.5 ( shorter than weekly manga chapter with 13 pages ) webtoon source material and cut some small minor scene / dialogue . Iam supporting tog s2 because i want more tower of god anime season in the future .
kind of sad tower of god isnt getting the popularity the anime deserves at the same time i prefer all the demon slayer & jujutsu kaisen "fans" to stay there. manhwa's bad ass getting to the game changer part of the story but thats like.......300 + episodes away
