I couldn't agree more about Cody's title reign. I thought the only way to make it interesting is to turn him heel but this angle with Randy and Owens is pretty dang good and I wanna see where it goes.
Alyx, I'm going to disagree with you about ONE thing. Rock vs Roman DOES need the title, and here's why. Rock did his part to get the match that they wanted at Mania against Cody on Night 2, but Roman failed. The entire reason Solo felt so empowered to take over was with Rock's blessing, and the idea that he would be given the chance to bring the title back to the family. Which he too failed. So Rock will finally decide, 'F it, I have to do everything myself', and bring the title back to the family. He will greenlight the Tongans and Jacob turning on Solo after his constant failure and will tell Roman that if he wants to truly be called Tribal Chief again, he (Roman), has to take the title from him (Rock). As Roman implied, the family was in the 'Promise Land' when he had the title and was able to call all of the shots.
It’s doesn’t need the title, this storyline was never about the title it’s about been the tribal chief who the true CHIEF
@@Iamtezwayne And Roman Reigns spent four years stressing how important the title was to his claim to Chiefdom. Which is why, when he lost it, Solo came in and took over. Rock gave Solo his blessing, ‘because’ Roman lost the title. Solo said, ‘Losing has consequences’. Rock held Cody’s title the night after Mania. Roman is talking about taking them back to the promise land, which was when he held the title. The title is a major part of the story. They don’t run WWE without it. Roman is trying to get them back to running WWE. Rock will face Cody for that title because of Roman and Solo’s failure to bring it back to the family.

@@eddiecampbell9663 Roman Reigns literally spent four years going on ad nauseam about how important the title was to his claim to Chiefdom. Even occasionally going so far as to say that without it, he could no longer claim to be Chief. It is no coincidence that he lost his claim to Chiefdom right after losing the title. They’re not going to waste four years of story. Four years of Roman telling everyone how important the title was to his Chiefdom and the riches bestowed upon the family, to now suddenly say it doesn’t matter. Roman’s spent four years saying it very much matters.
