Fun Fact: I got to meet Neil Kaplan, the voice actor of Aurelion Sol, and asked him what it was like to voice the character. He said that the sassier the line was that he had to read, the more jazz hands he physically incorporated when saying it

There's something i've always thought about: if Riot ever considers expanding League lore to other planets beyond Runeterra, Aurelion would be the perfect medium to do so.
Aurelion is a fan favorite for his design but extremely rarely played because of his awkward gameplay which is going to be reworked soon

Aurelion Sol is simply magical and his quotes are so calming and beautiful. I also recommend you to listen and to investigate into Vel’Koz he will explain more about The Void and The Watchers and what is the purpose of The Void in Runeterra, he is also extremely interesting.
I’m pretty sure the line “Imagine what you could do with a larger canvas” is a line Asol says exclusively to Jhin, implying he understands Jhin’s artwork and thinks he could do better if he wasn’t born a human being, which is pretty interesting
It is actually a phrase he says to Jhin. I’m kinda happy my man Aurelion values Jhin’s vision of art. Wish the author of the video could read your comment, but there are too many of them here…

22:20 It's funny that you say that because he literally says that to Jhin, not the first bit just the "Imagine what you could do with a larger canvas" part. Every other mortal human/Aspect host is a joke to Aurelion he laughs in their face with how small their thinking is and the insignificance of their purpose, but when he sees Jhin he wonders what his twisted mind would be capable of if only Jhin had been given cosmic powers and wasn't simply human. The legendary skin Dark Cosmic Jhin made years after both ASol and Jhin released to me is the realization of this single voiceline. Which makes the Dark Cosmic Jhin pop-back at 33:09 so good
Miss Fortune calling him a "catty space dragon" is probably the best description of Aurelion. The voice compilation you used is good to demonstrate how awe-inspiring he is, but it omits a lot of his quotes that are just plain hilarious. He's so sassy that it rockets right past obnoxious and ends up being endearing and funny as hell.
Zoey calls him space doggy. Zoey is also the only human Sol doesn't mind I think.

When Targon isn't creating problems, they're out here trying (and failing) to fix their own. Every event that contributed to the destruction of Shurima is a direct consequence of Targon's interference. It really says something when the only Celestials worthy of genuine praise are either hopelessly misguided (Soraka) or so done with Humanity's bulls**t that they will steal their magic regardless of how benevolent they are with it (Bard).
Fun fact: A. Sol's "Storm dragon" skin was a scrapped champion/concept named Ao Shin(sounds very Ionian to me) many were disappointed Rito is an A. Sol(pun intended) sometimes but they did say they had issues during its development. Imo both designs are great. its my favorite skin of A. Sol even though he looks goofy compare to his splashart in WR. but lorewise a storm dragon is no match to a space dragon.🤷🏽♂

Really loved you reacting to these voice lines. I recommend you to also react to his special interactions to other champs. This is such a sassy dragon. Love his lore.
I recommend listening to the voice lines on skin spotlight's channel, since there you also see the interactions between champions
Aurelion is just freaking fabulous. When I saw his teaser trailer I was expecting him to be some kind of big cosmic villain (the vague Thanos Meets Smaug vibe from that trailer helped) but his story makes him an engaging and somewhat sympathetic character and his voice lines' sass when encountering other champions is suprisingly hilarious and endearing whilst (usually) not reducing the scale of his character at all.
It might be a good idea when checking these out too see the champs interactions on their end so you can see what characters the voice lines are connected too
i highly recommend checking out the "special interactions" vid... he has so many sassy taunts towards other champions... its hilarious
Since Aurelion sol is in the LoR game he has extra quotes and dialog with the cards there.

I really recomend Swain, Fiddlestick and Tahm Kench's voice lines, also you should check out Skin Spotlight youtube channel where he posts all champion voice lines, couse these ones dont have them all: like Aurelions line about a snow globe, or the interactions to specific champions.
Swain is my favorite champion and has some of the best voice lines in the game (voiced by Randyll Tarly's actor from GoT), but I suggest you wait, he is VERY knowledgeable and gives so many clues and tells secrets about the other champions and the regions of Runeterra that will go over your head until you know more about the Universe as a whole. He's also tied directly to Irelia doing them together in succession would be a good idea.

Aurelion Sol is the mightiest being in the Runeterra and the voice actor is "Neil Kaplan" and he is one of my favorite voice actors.
There are no Alien perse in Runeterra.
Everything on Runeterra are either its inhabitents in any form ( Mages, Humans, Assendent etc.) or selestial beigns or the VOid, non of them came from another planets.
Also u need to watch Zoe interactions with Aurilion Sol. I believe Zoe is almost the only Being Aurlion Sol endures and somehow has bond to.
In general u need to listen to Zoes interactions with champs. She is a very cheering up charakter, because despite her being so powerful, she really has that childish energie, that is perfectly shown in her charakter
I recommend the Skinspotlights channel Aurelion has so many interactions with other champions like Fiddlesticks, Kindred and Bard.

Just theory but seem like this is the direction riot going for too: the dragon we seeing are just his physical form. And his true and real form is in celestial realm, we have no idea what he actually look like or what his real power is. The watcher a entity presume more powerful than aurelion sol cant go to runeterra or physical world because they too strong and too big for the portal, this maybe the same for aurelion sol + unlike targonian aspect who need vessel to come to mortal world, seem like aurelion sol can create a perfect physical body that can wistand his power unlike soraka who mortal body is burning from the inside because her power is too much for it to handle or bard who not even using "living" body and have to use a doll. This show how much powerful aurelion sol is compare to other celestial being
Our Asol is just....you know...being (an) Asol? 😂😂😂 Asol is getting a CGU, everyones really excited bout it. Very few really plays Asol in the game since his kite is bad and dissapointing, but many who actually play him just play him because of how cool his lore and looks are. If there is one thing satisfying about him in the game, it'll be his Q which makes a star that grows wider the further it travels, about 2/3 of the base I assume. It's fun seeing mortals loose hope knowing they cant escape🤔🤔🤔

For what i udearstand his true form is all the star he created, they are part of him all the universe is him, the dragon for is used just to meet the mortal on runeterra, thats why he feels phisycal and emotional pain when the aspects destoied one of his stars because it was a part of him
Here is the catch. Aspects used Aurelion to stop the void that were trying to get into the runeterra. If they didnt do that the runeterra would be long gone now. I am not saying that they are good but they have their reasons. Creating Ascended was also part of plan of stopping the void, just like creation of Runeterre itself (you can think about this planet as training groung preparing human kind to fight the void) but its all out of controll of the gods and aspects are bound by their identity and they have to serve to their theme (just like pantheon cannot escape fighting becouse he is aspect of war) becouse it have impact on their mind. Also the darkins were created by void from the ascended that aspects didnt want, and if they werent trapped by Zoe they would couse the apocalypse. All of this is coused by the Watchers, they forced gods and aspect to take action.
Aurelion talking about other worlds can talk about world of for example KDA universe or Star Guardian. Its like pararell universes, this is not the same one but like a sibling. He can know about them but there is no proff, becouse they dont exist in the universe he lives in. There are hints from Riot about there worlds connecting. There are major diffrences like in world of star guardian Fiddlesticks (yes he have star guardian skin now called "Star Guardian Nemesis Fiddlesticks") had normal life, wasnt a monster and we know his/her name was Harp. Now he is formless creature hunting other star guardians. In original universe he always been a monster. (Star guardian universe is one of the most complex if you want to dive in but its mostly in text, rather than animation)
When Aurelion hits enemy with his stars in the game he says "BOOOP" you heared XD at 31:54

It would be good do dive into aspects before champions related to them becouse they will be everywhere. They are very influencial.
If you will try to play the game at some point ask some friend who knows some of it becouse tutorial says nothing and you be long and not enjoying it at all.
Camille next? Or Mordekaiser or Pyke would also be sweet and are a must see. Btw, there are also a LOT of cool interactions in Legends of Runeterra that arent featured in those voice line compilation videos, and Aurelion Sol has some of the best. Would be a cool followup.

You need to see the interaction of fiddlesticks and Swain with Jinx, then we watch Arcane their lines made much more sense especially for those who already played League of Legends before Arcane was released.

You should watch quote videos that specify what each voice line is for, especially the interactions with other champions though.
I think doing this reaction with SkinSpotlights "Aurelion Sol Voicelines" and also, the Legends of Runeterra trailer for Aurelion Sol, i think, ilustrates even better the power that he holds, and also, a little of extra sass, of course.

U gotta start reading the colourstories too, Some of them are so good and tell you so much about characters
So Aurelion Sol’s true form isn’t comprehensible to mortals, since he exists mainly in the celestial realm.
You’ve missed out a lot of really cool stuff for Asol. Mainly a fair few interactions, which you can get from the skin spotlights champion quotes video which have all of them. Also the LoR art is somehow even more spectacular than the splash art. And his short story twin dawns (which you saw the summary of) is written from his POV, which is so fascinating, makes for a great read and covers details/conveys stuff the wiki doesn’t.
27:15 In the VERY OLD, VERY UNCANON lore of LoL, Malphite, Renekton, Nasus and Taric used to be literal Aliens from different planets. In modern lore, we don't have any champs from different planets, but many from different realms/dimensions like the Celestial realm (Bard, Soraka ASol etc.), Bandle City (all Yordles), the Void (all Voidborn), the Death Realm (Mordekaiser), the Shadow Realm (Nocturne, Zeds powers(?)) and the Spirit Realm (which Shen can freely enter)
That quote about "Imagine what you could do with a larger canvas"? That's what Aurelion says when he meets Jhin in-game. Make of that what you will :3

Legends of runeterra has various champion quotes that arent included in the general quotes from league of legends.
You might want to include the legends of runeterra quotes for these champions as well.
Whenever something has to do with the aspects its a 50/50 chance something terrible will happen, and thats a generous estimate.
Zoe just randomly destroyed villages for shits and giggles, and shes supposed to be the most innocent one.
Then you also have stuff like early Demacia being almost destroyed by one, the religous oppression by the Solari, casually starting wars and cummiting genocide etc.
It says a lot when trapping the Darkin was the best thing they did.
Aureliom Sol is the one who can only seal the void rifts in Runeterra, that's why they have to to that. Cause Aurelion is so big that he don't really care about Runeterra. If Aurelion Sol escaped from that magic that's binding him to Runeterra that will be the end for Runeterra Aurelion sol might crush the whole Runeterra because of what they did.
I don't know but Aspects are not from Runeterra, they're from the Celestial Realm they're not a gods they're celestial entities.
So when they introduced Aurelion it seemed the story would go into a sci-fi direction. The void and even darkins would be like alien invaders. But riot games dropped this story line over the years. Now the void is from another dimension, the darkin are corrupted ascended and so on.
Also pls react to swain, he has so much lore hints in his interactions with other champions.

Edit: the quote from swain about Aurelion is to this day a mystery. The lore man himself, Necrit, theoriesed that maybe Aurelion has a void sibling, that's the reason(in the theory) why only Aurelion can close the void rifts.

Ya should check out the short stories Twilight of the Gods (story about how the Darkin were sealed, includes aspect of twilight), and Where Icathia Once Stood (short story about the the void, Icathia and the shuriman empire), Necrit also has a read through of these if ya wanna go the audio route.
That Heimerdinger quote is only for his Dragon trainer skin, which makes it so funny cuz yeah, he has treats and chew toys for his lil dragons and he boops their nose.
Aurelion Sol true form is very big, he can hold Runeterra with one single hand, and still its very small on his hand, probably maybe he holds a whole universe with one hand, inmagine that.
His “Q” in the game looks like he is making a Galaxy.
Sooo, Zoe is the only one protecting him, She is the most powerful aspect of them All, She Can warp reality, She Can totally destroy them All. Thats why aspects are very carefull, becouse Zoe is the aspect of twilight

To a better understanding, i recommend you watch a video by Necrit named "Story of League of Legends Explained". its basically a big summary of the main events that took place in the "main" story of the game. i see that video more as a timeline because you will see the time when happened the rune wars, the darkin war and the void rift in Icathia and other things.
Unfortunately this video was an example of why you should use the skin spotlights voice videos, the current ones you use don’t show who Asol is roasting when he interacts with other champions.

I think went crazy because of what they experienced during the war against Icathia. (wich was more a war against the void)
The void is known to warp the mind of those who see it, like Malzahar. So this combined with some type of boredom coming from immortality without purpose is probably what created the Darkin (who were god-warriors before that). It's then that the aspect intervened to stop the darkin by traping them in their weapon (and not killing them since they can't be killed, i believe ).

Jhin and Aureliion are my favorite champs because of their quotes, closely followed by Swain and Camille. I seem to have a special affinity for the arrogant sass.
Also I believe the quote "imagine what you could do with a larger canvas" is from Aurelion towards Jhin. He is as interested in Jhin as us.

Aurelion is terrifyingly powerful, but he's not an evil force. His reaction is the same reaction we have to most insects. He looks at us like we look at ants. insignificant, completely unable to understand the sheer *magnitude* of what we, or Aurelion, are capable of doing. He's annoyed that we somehow have him by the metaphorical Star Balls, but he has no hate for this world. Just for those that keep him here.
I'd be like us standing on what amounts to a Baseball Plate for a whole month. He's sick of being there, he's got better things to do, let him leave already!
Funny part is, I'm certain he'd just... Leave Runeterra and never bother to return if someone set him free. He might turn Targon into a glass floor, but the planet would be otherwise left alone. Hell, if a Targonian freed him, he might just say "fair enough, don't bother me again".
At the same time, part of his purpose IS to close the rifts betwen The Void, where Cho'Gath, Rek'Sai, Voidlings, Bel'Veth, and so much more are from. But he doesn't care for it. Its like cleaning up a restaurant. You have to go back constantly to clean up the messes left behind by those insufferable creatures. Though, part of me wonders if, seeing as Targon managed to shackle him, he could just teach people how to seal The Void's rifts, and then they'd release him.
Sol, I believe said that the only human he somewhat tolerates is Zoey. That if he were to kill all humans he would spare Zoey.

I'd love it if you can react to Kayn next, since you already did the other two darkins Aatrox and Varus. He is one of my favourite characters and I think his voicelines are really interesting and also funny, since he banters a lot with Rhaast.
My absolute favorite Aurelion Sol quote is "I'm going to throw a star at you now.... Good Luck." Like, if a being like that said something like that to you, imagine how small and insignificant you would feel in the few seconds before you were atomized.

I play Aurelion Sol a lot, even though his champion is incredibly weak I love his gameplay and of course also his lore (I love all the lore). I am quite sad that they will rework him soon, takes all the fun out of playing aurelion sol of what I've seen so far

It is good to keep in mind, for an important plot point in the future, that Aurelion DID NOT create Runeterra. He created their sun, but not the planet itself. And neither did the Aspects. The planet sprung out from nowhere without the knowledge of the Aspects and Celestials. Which is why, everyone is drawn to it. Aspects, Clestials, Voidborn, etc. It is, at this point in time, still unclear as to how the world of Runeterra came to be and who created it.
It's why Aurelion was surprised to see it in the first place since he could remember making the star but not the planet. It's also why he came to it, because the Aspects seemed to be too invested in it for him to have peace of mind.
Finally, the Void is a different dimension that exists beside the Universe, and dislikes it neighbors simply because they're too noisy. Which is why Void entities are so hell-bent on destroying all life. Just to get back that quiet they once had.
Edit: My working theory is that Runeterra is a weak point in the veil separating the Void and all of creation. The Aspects want to stop it from completely tearing open, which is why they will stop at nothing to prevent that from happening. Even if it means completely screwing others over, or destroying entire civilizations by accident. The problem being that the Aspect hosts are also caught up in petty tribal politics and stuff like that and are subject to whatever pettiness the hosts may entertain. Like the Shuriman Ascended being more focused on building their empire instead of preparing to fight the Void which was what they were created for in the first place, seeing the celestial gifts of power as a status symbol or weapons for war more than anything. This lead to their destruction when they were unprepared for the horrors of the Void when it accidentally ripped in Icathia and this lead to the collapse of the Shuriman Empire.
The Aspects were ass, but i believe what they were doing was preparing Runeterra for the eventual opening of the Void. Except they did not account for human stupidity and petiness. They had a good start with Shurima's Ascended, by channeling Aurelion's power into the Sun Disk and they didn't even have to get involved in it directly. The Shurimans just kept making more and more Ascended which worked into their favor, but it was not enough and it got sidetracked so easily. Infact it was marginally enough to fight back that one little tear in Icathia. If the Void fully opens and there are no noteable defenders, it wouldn't matter if the Aspects themselves come down from the heavens in their true forms, and have the backing of a fully unleashed Aurelion and his kinfolk. The Void will everything.
Just look up Zoe and you will see just how evil the aspects can be
PLEASE watch your videos.. the sound of trailers and yur voice... you are so loud when i want to hear trailers well, set yourself lower, or trailer higher in audio, it would be much better :D

Aurelion sol is the second most powerful being in all of League of Legends (second only to Kindred who is a literal manifestation of Death itself). He is nigh-immortal, nigh-omniscient and nigh-omnipotent. He forged all the stars and galaxies in the universe around which planets form. You can't get more godly than that. Though his arrogance is sometimes his downfall, like the time he was enslaved by Targonian Aspects.

The Darkin weren’t exactly created like that,when the Ascended fought against the Void many of them were corrupted by the void,and those Ascended corrupted by the Void later became the Darkin
Also there is a explanation as to why the Aspects (and maybe this plan was also made with Bard’s and Soraka’s help who are also Celestials like Aurelion Sol) basically enslaved Aurelion Sol,it’s because Aurelion Sol is the only one strong enough to close those big BIG Void rifts,and he surely doesn’t care about mortals so asking for his help would be to no avail,so yeah even if it’s a bad thing to do tricking Aurelion Sol into serving the Targonians was possibly the only way for humanity to survive
(Not saying the Aspects aren’t evil tho,i wouldn’t say they’re evil evil but they’re definitely not good cinnamon rolls either)
You should definitely read "Where Icathia Once Stood" --> "Twilight of the Gods". Both fantastic stories you can find on the universe page.
The wiki is not a great source because it treats Legends of Runeterra cards and voicelines as canon. Which they are not.

Facts! Aurelion sol = dragon! But when someone talks about "dragon" they thinking about the form of huge monster or some mysterious beast in different cultures! U believe or not, Aurelion sol is not a just name, is the truth form of god! The game developers knew very good about this god, and I really surprised he brought a whole secret in to the video game! It's tricky. The aspects are total douches for sure. But without them doing what they do, all creation would have ended already. Once things came into existence, the void immediately wanted it destroyed. They started trying to break in and wipe everything out. The celestial beings inside reality saw that and started doing things to stop them (creating life and guiding them so that one day they could help fight the void). It wasn't "if" the void breaks through, it was "when". They needed a sol to seal the void openings because no one else could. Of they didn't seal those, the void would just pour in and kill everyone. The sun warriors were ascended so they could kill the void. The darkin fell because they gave in to corruption, it's not what they were given power for. So yeah problems get caused by the aspects, but the aspects are more worried about all reality being wiped out, not a small group of people on one world fighting. In the lore the void is breaking through more and more, and the celestial beings are like SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!! So yeah it sucks that the aspects are ass hats, but they are doing what NEEDS to be done. Otherwise reality would have been wiped out hundreds of years ago. I think the only other force fighting off the actual void is lissandra up in the snow. They've already breached in, but she froze them all before they could fully come through. They are the only ones preventing the end of all things.

-28:16 i'm pretty sure he's sayign this as a mockery to the concepts of love and gravity. not only is he a celestial being, its stated HE created the stars and, if im correct, the planets as well, or in some capacity at least. but either way, what he, being who he is with his personality, seems to simply be mocking it or how people think of it, as a "your understanding of gravity is limited, i can prove it, i can fly" apply that to the use of the word love as u will, while also remembering beneath that suave demeanor, he's actually rather pissed off, its like a sarcastic, elegant, level headed display of that wrath.
-Aurelion's "true form" is just him stating that he isnt bound to what we understand as form, he's a celestial dragon, but as you saw, he materialized from the celestial body itself. so he isn't just a celestial dragon, he's more like a celestial entity manually taken shape.
-Also, side note: i dont disagree with empathizing with sol, but also remember he'd technically be classified as a World-destroying villain.

to be fair, you can't really blame the Darkin on them. blame the asshole who called upon the Void which, while it didn't get to fully corrupt Ascended, it did leave enough to turn Ascended into Darkin
Aurelion is the absolute cockiest champion, and his power in-lore is more than enough to back it up. In game, however, none fear the power of the sky noodle and his orbital meatballs.
