    Beautiful :’) thank you
I hope to be able to play this song one day. I can’t help but tear up when I hear it, it and I have some history. Easily one of my favorite songs ever.

col kil Do you have any tips for someone learning to play by ear? I’ve played piano on and off over the years, by ear and tutorial stuff mostly. I’m saving to get my own keyboard so I can improve but I don’t even know where to start. Were there fundamentals you started out with that helped?
      Thank you in advance!

@@aidenvaresi9621 I'd start by listening to your absolute favorite music and figure out the corresponding notes on the piano. I started this process by translating the vocals of a song into my right hand and the bass line for my left. You can always start easily by just figuring out one of each, one at a time, and then once you are comfortable and have practiced both parts, you can try to play both hands at once. It is easier said than done. Practice is key!!! I play 30 minutes a day and I can't believe how far I've gotten. (And it is ironic to me that the first video I uploaded with the most mistakes has the most views)

col kil Thank you for the advice! With other songs I have learned one hand at a time, but could never get the song to sound, full? Idk if that’s the correct word but when you play it sound so rich and so much is going on but sounds great. Is it chords that is making it sound so much more lively. I had someone try to explain chords and diminished chords to me once and I still have so much to learn.

@@aidenvaresi9621 that so kind of you to say! In all honesty, I have no idea how to explain it in a way that could make sense because I don't really care about the technical terms in music... but i can try- i usually use two octaves for the base line to enhance the piece to create a more full effect. but sometimes its not you that is the problem,,, sometimes its the song. some songs just don't sound good on the piano.
