When a wild mana runs out of stam they just freeze in the air that’s what your seeing and the reason they so hard to find is because they often freeze like this at the sky barrier
lol not true :'D its when they jump to a spot on the ground but cannot find a proper walkable ground, itll glitch in the air, u can reproduce this with certain traps that force them to fly
@@Nyanti_Games That's true, you cannot search for a specific level, but it is still very useful, especially, when you search for rare creatures. For example, I am a Phoenix tamer in Ark and the gene scanner is a game changer for that.

The Manas do fit perfectly with the theme tho. Ark with it's bugs,then there's the glitchy car and now it's the Manas' turn to join the party by float to the heavens😁 but yeah, Mana's breath does look different visually
The amount of time Syntac can play with the HUD flashing red because of water/food and it's all good is unappreciated xD Everytime I'm like "Man just press #7, you have 34 cooked meats." xD
Just a headsup regarding fighting Wyverns , they seem to have the same issue the normal ones had when they came out, namely that you also get enflamed when they use the breath not just the mount you are riding.
Just so you and everyone is aware, spawn on extinction are mega bugged. manas, gigas/carchas, snow yutys, gigantoraptors, and alpha spawns are incredibly bugged making there spawn chances extremely low. No idea how or why it is happening but we have to wait for a patch to fix it. not to mention wild levels being really bugged as well making things lower level than the island.
me and my friends have been running up and down the forbidden zone on dreadnaughts killing every giga we see to try and make them spawn, unfortunately the only carch we've seen have been 10-15 with one 55 spawning which the alpha tribe immediately tamed.,
Legitimately, we spent about 2 hours clearing out spawns all around the snow biome, and FINALLY got a carch spawn. Then a Giga spawned right after it was down. So just start killing along the outside and hopefully something spawns. Seem to pop up the most on the more eastern edge.
Mine froze in the air in the middle of taming like the way you found yours. I was trying to get it into a trap and it was being Squirrley jumped in the air and got stuck in the air, but it was also slowly drifting away, not up. As far as the differences between old and new I may be remembering wrong but ASE Mana froze their targets much faster, where it is taking much longer to freeze the target in place in ASA which is also allowing the creatures to hit the mana interrupting it which is preventing you from freezing them
I was on official extinction today PVE and I hopped off my Mana but it was on neutral so when I got hit it jumped up in the Sky and started floating toward the barrier of the world the only way I was able to save it is keep out of render distance until I could grab my quetzel and build a large wall net on the quetz back so my mana hit it instead of floating out of the map like had happened before. Ark is just trying to live with the glitches that are a feature, and find a way to Jury rig to be able to just play the game normally.
I got a high level Mana using this method over the weekend. It was kinda stuck in a cliff. Had to build a bit more than Syntac to get access to its inventory.
Purlavias are so scary every time you’re just strolling through the snow and relax for one second a demon badger goes flying right in front of your screen like a freaking jumpscare
You could try using ‘saveworld’ command to not lose any progress in the cheat tab (unlock it by pressing square, triangle, l1 and r1 in the pauze menu.)
I had the worst luck when I was trying to tame a managarmr. First a 145 died from fighting. Second it took like a whole day to get another high level it wasn't the best. And heres syntac finding a 145 straight away, i guess syntac got that awesome luck man.😂😅😂
I always found it funny how, even after the nerf, the Managarmr remained one of the fastest tames by a substantial margin and it was only really universally beaten when Genesis 2 came out (Genesis 1 Bloodstalker can be faster, but it relies on the environment to do so).
Whenever Manas do this, I find that to be the best time to tame them since they tend to not move for a long while once they do this. At least after managing to re-render them if they just start floating.
Theres a bunch of invisible geometry around the map so could be that as well. The one that bugs me most is *something* in the big circle "Memorial" building stops tek superspeed from working. If you try to fly across the circle at max boost you get yeeted into the ground or the sky
i kinda like the paste of this series, it s just sad that the others boys are not really playing. i miss the shenanigans. very lucky with that mana there, mine was quite a pain xD.
you need to wait for the owl to fully stopped before using stuff like spyglass. when the owl is stopped and you use your spyglass you don't get this glitching forward from the owl
Bro, I don't know if you should replace your stamina drain with food and water drain. Your settings already drain both crazy fast and unless you move your mic you are just going to constantly be caught by surprise by not being able to run. Maybe I am wrong about how significant the effect will be but I am only at the point in the vid where you equipped the trait now so maybe it will work out but maybe it will drive you crazy and your will get rid of it before the end of the video. Fingers crossed that it works out. My hopes are not high though.
25:41 In the dossier, the Dreadnoughtus is stated to ignore creatures below a certain size. Perhaps that is the reason for its disinterest? Edit: I had heard that it takes a certain amount of damage for a wild Dread to aggro, which would be consistent with what happened with that Dread.
I have seen manas float in the sky backwards and drifting further and further up and out of bounds. Its a bug I think. They were stuck just like this one. Mine is called SonicBoom 😂
Think that gun trait would've been better on an assault rifle or pistol - if it stacks up to 10 times, faster fire rate would max it out almost immediately rather than barely adding damage resist from the slow longneck
It even happens with tamed ones i popped mine out of the cryo pod and it literally flew away out of the map and died 🥲they are way harder to tame then they used to be.
yea I was so happy to instantly be able to add a modd that let me use the old movement style on manas cause on pve there wasn't really a reason for a nerf to that other than making them awful.
The Manas breath has been super nerfed, it's incredibly short range and if you get touched it interrupts it's use. There is a mod creator Aelx2607 who has made mods to add creature spawns for Rock Drakes, Karkinos, Fasolasuchus, Yi Ling, Cosmo, Rhynio, Ceratos etc etc and it adds nests for them and put them in certain biomes. There are a bunch of them and they look super interesting, only thing is i wish he put the Karks in the sunken forest instead of the city rivers area. Getting a couple Gachas should be on the top of your list of things to do. Maybe another Thyla.
i have a tad weirder mana taming. had one stuck IN the wall of one of the prebuilt structures... specifically the one i built on. saw it when i got home. lol i was like hell, free mana

Finally got ASA and Bob's tall tales. I was hoping it would be less buggy than PS4 single player ASE, but honestly as long as it isn't deleting my inventory half the time I use the obelisk, I'm fine with the bugs.
Hey did u know the Christmas events letter 2 Christmas cryopod give u a tame with maxed out in one stat it's good 4 breeding super dinosaurs they mostly come out at 48.

paying for the same game just branded “ascended”, then having to pay an additional $30 for the only new features(bobs tall tales). Crazy. They had us all pay $70 for ark evolved with better graphics on release(30 for asa,30 for btt). They did it for funding obviously. Now all the new content not in bobs tall tales, is also under a pay wall via the premium mod section. Wildcard has and always will be this way.

I think the reason your guy looks all scrunched up and odd when riding the snow owl is because your character is tall. I made my character short and I don’t really have that issue
Most messed up Mana tame? Not even close xD When my friend and I were trying to tame a 130 it got stuck like that but kept drifting up and up. I managed to knock it out hanging from a quetz and then stuffed it with food from the platform saddle... and even when it woke up it was still stuck drifting upwards so I had to fly up with a tek chestpiece and land on top of it to be able to cryo it. THAT was quite the experience.
Why would he have his singleplayer settings public? It’s not useful, he just uses it to test things before making a video on the survival server so his singleplayer is either just all the way boosted or creative mode.
Honestly even though manas are my favorite creature. They’ve always been kinda broken whether mechanically or taming wise Also is it me or does the mana look a lot more gnarly in ASA?
Fun fact: if u use a extinguisher granade on the tribe tower it will extinguish the flames removing all the buff and you will have to start from 0 again. Yea very dumb

Yea mana’s are one of the reasons that I DO indeed have net projectiles.. and always will. I have the mod because I felt like when nets came out like “this is overpowered but for those of us who have paid our dues and tamed Dino’s by trapping them for years, it’s fine we finally get a shortcut” but then ASA came out and it took that which I feel like I earned by playing without them for years, away, so yea I’ve had the mod ever since though the mod sucks makes the visuals on the harpoon gun all messed up I hope that gets fixed. Also one of the many reasons I don’t think people are considering when being excited we’re getting Lost Colony instead of the genesis maps first… there’s so many essential things that will come with gen maps that I want way quicker than they will come now.

Syntac, you can track down wild dinos with the gene scanner. That saves a huge amount of searching time.
He can however gene scanner limits the levels you can find so you cant just search for high level dinos

@SomeMortyDude carchas and gigas only spawn along the edge of the snow biome, some can be down the hill some can go into it

I am sure you know this but did not see you do it. You can use the gene scanner to find wild dinos.
wyvern can set you a blaze while mounted on a creature beware cause i gort burn and died off my carcha lol

The issue for the mana is sometimes its breath range is normal and other times its max range is lower than the melee for some reason

Dreds don’t aggro to you unless you’re riding something like a carcha or a Giga. They will only attack you if you enough damage with small creatures.

ISTG, there must be something in the wild stat/taming bonus programming that leans it toward putting points in Oxygen.

Yuty aren't with carnos in the snow. You usually see 2 Yutys together.

On my single player world, 1/5 of creatures that are supposed to spawn does doesn’t. Done Dino wipe and still none are spawning.

You can increase how much each stat increases per point invested in the settings

Do I have to have ark survival ascended on my internal storage for it to not lag, or can it be on my external drive with no problems

Fun fact: if u use a extinguisher granade on the tribe tower it will extinguish the flames removing all the buff and you will have to start from 0 again. Yea very dumb

Yea mana’s are one of the reasons that I DO indeed have net projectiles.. and always will. I have the mod because I felt like when nets came out like “this is overpowered but for those of us who have paid our dues and tamed Dino’s by trapping them for years, it’s fine we finally get a shortcut” but then ASA came out and it took that which I feel like I earned by playing without them for years, away, so yea I’ve had the mod ever since though the mod sucks makes the visuals on the harpoon gun all messed up I hope that gets fixed. Also one of the many reasons I don’t think people are considering when being excited we’re getting Lost Colony instead of the genesis maps first… there’s so many essential things that will come with gen maps that I want way quicker than they will come now.
