Honestly this video couldn’t have come at a better time. SO crazy how our Father speaks to us and helps and guides us in the biggest decisions of our lives. My husband and I have been praying for very similar things. I almost feel like I was meant to watch this video to hear this confirmation today. That may sound odd, but the timing is just too perfect. My hubby and I were conversing and praying today about moving and buying land. Praying the Father continues to guide you both on where He wants you to be on your journey together. 💛
Doesn’t sound odd at all! For those of us who have a relationship with HIM- we know how great HE works in the most subtle ways!!

My husband is a pastor and we recently uprooted from Alabama and moved to South Carolina for a pastoral position. We prayed so much about it. I was born and raised in Alabama and we left our friends and family which was intimidating and a little sad, BUT we LOVE it here and God has already blessed us so much with our neighbors, church family, and our home. It was a big move for us, but we are happier here than we were there and we feel like God has placed us here and we are right where He wants us to be. We moved with our 1 year old and he loves it here too. We live in the country which reminds us of our home in AL.
I try to be intentional and pray for Him to align my will with His will. To change my heart to His will whether it makes me uncomfortable or not. Praying for clarity and strength in all of your future endeavors!
Thank you for being a great example and encouragement for Christmas. It helps me more in my walk with God
& this is why I love y'all. Spreading the word & sharing your story, yet loving those who are struggling with faith or don't believe at all. I'm someone who grew up in the church & into adulthood came to really struggle with my relationship with God. Now into my mid 20's, I'm starting to re-think some things & that's largely thanks to you two.🧡

Move where? I heard L.A. but not sure. Just remember its different there….very different. Stay for Ivey so she can have her grandparents in her life!!! Please consider too if you have another baby….there wont be family immediate around to help you. Keep praying on it….but also use logic!!!
And LA is not a place to raise a family. I honestly, wish I could raise my kids in the south. I love the hospitality and wholesomeness
Y'all need to try renting where y'all want to live for 6 months or so to test it out... There's no need to sell your house until you for sure know you're going to like the other area better... So renting is a great way to figure out where you want to be.
Moving can be exciting but I will tell you from experience it's not for those who are close to family. Also you take away from your families the ability to see your children grow up, it's so true it takes a village to raise children. I understand the excitement of a new city and all that but it really is not what people make it out to be. It's extremely hard to leave everything you've ever known and start all over again. Think about your daughter too...can you imagine her not being able to see her grandparents as much as she is used to.
Devin will always remind me of the Grinch bc of the way she talks and the way she holds her mouth crooked and smiles or laughs!❤

I lived in Washington state my whole life and 4 years ago we up and moved to Kansas. Best decision we made, it made us slow down and enjoy life a little more. ❤ good luck and will be praying for you guys ❤

Hello! I don’t know if you all will see this but I’m just reading a great book right now called What Happens When Women Say Yes to God and Walk in Faith by Lysa Terkeurst❤️ I love this book so far and I highly recommend it. I wanted to share just 5 questions that she shares in her book when we’re hearing things that we aren’t sure are from the Lord or are just so scared of doing because we don’t want to do the wrong thing. I’ll list them below. Love you guys!!
- Does it align with scripture?
- Does it speak to Gods character?
- Is it being confirmed in church service or in your alone time with the Lord?
- Is it beyond you?
- Would it please God?
Ask God WHY he wants you to move. There is a reason why he wants you to or why he DOESN'T want you to. ASK HIM WHY.
I love that no matter what god is in the center of your marriage and is steady on your foundation i pray god continues your journey and over flows your cup amen ❤
Make sure you are sure that the move is the will of God. ✝️Pray without ceasing. 🙏
Me and my fiancé had been wanting to move to his hometown for years. Last year we prayed about it A LOT and just wanted to make sure that’s what God was calling us to do, sure enough everything fell into place SO easily and we just knew it was where we were supposed to raise our family. January 9th will make one year of us living here, over 2000 miles away from where the majority of our families live, where we met and spent the first 10 years our our relationship. When it’s in Gods will for your life everything will fall into place with grace. Put your faith in the Lord because he has incredible things planned for your life ❤️
So a few months ago I had a friend tell me Gurl now you walk with your Jesus don't you need new people I'm like sweetie bless your heart if Jesus thought that way we wouldn't be saved today 😉 how will one believers see what God does in our lives if they aren't apart of it yes thats what I believe like don't see me anymore only the Holy Spirit 🙏💜🙏 love seeing God move in you guys life and thank you for sharing it with us 💜BLESSINGS💜

My family and I recently moved out of state bcz god gave us a lot of leading showing us to go and move and we did. We followed our hearts and it felt right. We rent our home, and later down on the road we will buy. We moved from California to Arizona. We lived in California only and never been to Arizona. And we love it here. Feels like our home. We are young 30 my husband and I and have 2 kids under 6.
Is it the Lord's will telling you both to put up a little bitty nativity scene and over exaggerate on the Christmas trees. Keep Christ in Christmas, not of the way of the world. (Tell me where in the Bible does it talk about putting up Christmas trees)
Devin if you see this pls respond. I am struggling so bad with finding my purpose what does God what me to be doing? Is there any suggestions of verses or devotionals you would have? Also I am trying to build a better relationship with God. I'm an infant in Christ. Pls help.

I believe y’all live about 30 minutes east of me currently. I only know that because I randomly saw y’all at our local Target one day and just put 2 and 2 together 😆 Anyway, it’s so true what you were saying about buying land in the south. We just bought 71 acres last year in the New Brockton/Elba area and are hoping to build a home on it in 2024.

This is just by two cents because I feel like I relate to y’all a lot…
Me and my husband and our two little girls have lived in Oklahoma our whole life… within 30 mins of our entire family on both sides. In 2021, my husband got an amazing job offer that we would have been stupid to turn down. So we sold our first home we’ve ever bought, and packed up our two girls, 8 and 3 and moved to Dallas, Tx.
I know it’s not the same as moving across the country, but when I tell you it does feel like we are across the country because our trips back home don’t come nearly as often as we thought they would because life gets in the way, jobs get in the way, school stuff, sports. Next thing you know, it’s been 5 months since you’ve seen your family. Anyway, after almost 3 years of being away from our family and friends.. we cannot wait to move back home. My husband is searching for job openings back home every single week. And it’s hard because my oldest has so many friends here in Texas now so she doesn’t want to move back, my youngest doesn’t even remember living in Ok. So it’s tough, because me and my husband want to go back home so bad it hurts. I know that was a long comment, but what I was trying to say is… just make sure moving is what you ALL want. Are you okay with your kids growing up without their family around? Because it’s hard! Not having the help of family, it is so hard! ESP when you don’t trust anyone else to watch your kids. I wish you both the best! I’m sure you will make the best decision for your family! ❤️
18 yrs ago “2004” my wife and I moved from La. to Fl. panhandle not knowing a soul. Our children were 4 and 8 weeks. We too took that leap of faith. Although we miss home, still 18 years later we love we made that leap.

In regards to moving. My husband and I just moved across the country (Canada). To give ourselves a bigger, better life, it was so scary but you can live with the peace of you can always go back home!! ❤❤ sending love and light
Maybe y’all should try traveling, that way you get a sense of different places and don’t feel so worried about getting there and feeling uncomfortable. Just travel and see where your heart feels most filled. It could help, love y’all.❤️✨

About 1.5 years ago, God brought us to move to a new city away from everyone and it was so scary but it has been so life giving and we couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Trust Him and He will bring you to exactly where He wants you and your family ❤

I’m 68 soon to be 69, work 35 hours a week. I need to recognize enough is enough. I’m on my Mission field God has for me 35 hours a week. STOP and rest. God will honor your seeking!!! I moved from Oregon to Tennessee by myself a year and a half ago. I did a lot of SEEKING to know His will. Now seeking to move back or move to Idaho. Not feeling 100% this is where He will be keeping me. He hasn’t given me a 100% settled feeling but this is temporary. I’m hoping it’s temporary. I miss the West Coast tremendously. Whatever His will is I’m standing in obedience. He knows His plans. Jeremiah 29:11-13🙏❤😊
