The last book I read in 2023 was Home by Julio Anta and Anna Wieszczyk, and the first book I read in 2024 was Spider-man: Animals Assemble by Mike Maihack (one I read with my little boy).
Last book that I bought in 2023 was Batman and Robin by Tomasi and Gleason, and the 1st books of 2024 was Amazing Spider-man Beyond Omnibus (needed it for Spidey collection). Reading wise last book would be Batman Animated Adventures and the 1st book of this year is going to be Gotham Central. How about you?
Oh man, Gotham Central is AMAZING. It's THE Omni I suggest to anyone looking for a single DC omnibus that's stand-alone. SO FREAKING GOOD. You're going to have to let me know how you like that Animated Adventures Omni. I've been interested in checking that out!
@@Omnibuddy All I have to say Gotham Central is living up to the hype so far... now Batman Animated Adventures wasnt bad for me the book was 6 out of 10. However reading it while playing show in the background priceless.
@@afifthofjackgaming That's a great idea doing double-duty on that! Glad Gotham Central is living up to the hype - I freaking LOVED it! That and Wonder Woman: Historia and Catwoman: Lonely City will now be my three stand-alone recommendations for people wanting some one-and-done DC books!
@@Omnibuddy I read the original Jurassic Park novel by Michael Crichton. But the last graphic novel I read in 2023 It was "Goodnight Punpun omnibus Vol.7" but I read it in octubre I think so it wasn't my last read of the year.

As a Matt Kindt fan I’d recommend Dept H, Grass Kings, and Black Badge. I read all of these series during the 2020 lock downs and they were great.
