if i remember right, Priaka was the original ancient name for the Skaakdi and the Priaka from 2006 called themselves that was because it more authentic or whatever.

Because nektann (A.K.A bootleg vezok) isn't a piraka. Infact nektann is only a standard skadi. Of course there's a clone army of him. But when he was fighting Tahu it was a 1v1 battle.
I think the bionicle stars should have been titan versions of older sets, or maybe special Inika builds. LEGO basically downgraded some older sets and sold them. What do you think?
Bionicle was supposed to continue beyond 2010. Maybe the team had a short amount of time to finish the story and final toys quickly which resulted in sets like this. But yeah, I would have liked these sets to be bigger.
In my opinion, these were still better alternatives than ending the theme at 09, since I'm not fond of the idea of ending the series with new characters we barely know, even if the Glatorians were good sets
Honestly, I think stars would of been a success if they were part of a titan set and the titans were mata nui and makuta teradax and when I say titan I means *TITAN* they could of been bionicles biggest titans ever big enough to have the stars act as mini figures.

I love stars, they are extremely underrated. But if I designed stars I would include: 1)Tahu 2) Taka Nuva 3) Rahkshi 4) Matoro 5) Makuta teridax 6) Piraka
I actually really love the stars. I grew up with them and had a lot of fun collecting them when they were out. Do get the articulation problem though that’s a bit stinky but other then that their really fun figures and they weren’t bad especially for what the bionicle team had left since LEGO was shutting down the theme.

it should have been gudunga for blue, take out the green guy and put in the green piraka guy since he is the leader of the piraka and would make a better piraka to have for a send off than some guy we barely knew before but yeah gudunga should have been the blue one, give the final line a bit of versatility in the build since all the others are just boring basic builds, add a bit of a gumdrop in on those basic humanoids maybe then replace the skrall guy with the black inika guy, i can never remember the inika names, and then i think it would be perfect, 3 good guys, 3 bad guys, all great characters
Tai Wind the Nektann in VNOG were robot drones that the Warlord Nektann built and named after himself. The 6 piraka emulated and built some drones on Voya Nui.
Pretender Bionicle didn't die for Hero Factory. Bionicle's plug was pulled when The Legend Reborn finished production, and the story team had to make something new. Don't be angry at the line for existing - in fact, be grateful because without it, we wouldn't have gotten Generation 2.

Pretender I would have wanted it to last longer too, but that shouldn't discount what we have. Next spring doesn't have a new dedicated constraction line, but we're still getting Star Wars buildable figures.
I never thought of the Piraka as smiling or grinning. I thought of it more as a display of intimidation, as you might see some animals do in the wild.
Tbh thok was really the only piraka that was smiling/grinning. The rest were just showing their teeth lol.

Pretty decent set. I bought all of the Stars when they came out, since it was the last wave. Nektann and the Rahkshi are my favorites
My favorites are also Rakshi and Piraka, and are also the only Star sets I have.
My favourite were Skrall and Taka Nuva.

Even though his a warlord, he doesn't have the strength that the piraka had, and of course he doesn't have a cool 2 bladed weapon thing. Ask greg why.
Two reasons:
a) The Piraka are explicitly stated by Makuta to have gotten lucky.
b) Unlike his fight with Zaktan, Tahu fights smart.

This was oddly the only Stars set I had. It was alright, but even as a kid I thought the Stars line was underwhelming.
I want to make a larger Nektan with the same head, but using two of them as shoulder pads as well
