Great pattern Brian! This is my go-to streamer style that I tie in 1.25 to 6 inch lengths in colors to imitate the local forage. The only thing different that I do is to use bucktail for the first two ties (yellow on this fly) on the bigger flies to reduce fouling and to get the taper I want.
My sister said I was mean because I got her husband hooked on fly fishing and tying flies, I told her that I got hooked on fly tying after watching your videos, I have my nephew's fly fishing also
Nice fly Brian. I'm retired for tying for a while 'cause I sold my house and I'm moving into a motor home. I'll probably be down your way in the next couple of years. See ya on the water. Keep the good stuff coming.
I'm very new to tying my own flies so this is a deep rabbit hole. May I ask what thread you are using? I have noticed different tyers using all different types of thread. I'm assuming to achieve a different look or strength. Do you have a preferred thread for this specific pattern? Thank you in advance for your response.
Thanks for a great pattern. Hoping the Puget Sound coho will like it as much as I do. I'm finding the most difficult part is getting the eyes right. It appears this 3M 60 second glue I'm using is a bad choice. What are you using for this? Also, any other color combos you like?
UV resin is pretty useful, you might want to invest in some. But you can try tying the fly without the resin. It'll probably fish just fine but will be less durable.
When I'm not at the vise, it's awesome to watch someone else, who really know's his shit at the vise!
Oh, so you have been watching the videos Andreas is in then? ;)
Another killer streamer... great thread control shown by Brian. Keep Em coming Brian!!!!
Thanks!

Craft fur makes awesome streamers. Another great tie.. thanks
Yes it does! You have a couple of these coming to you....thanks for being a member!!
I never fly steamer but from the point I discovered your channel my wallet as became thinner and thinner....😂🎣
Just a beginner. Craft fur is cheap, so I'm starting here. Thank you
Great video as always; one of my favorite patterns to tie and our smallmouth love them!
Killer smallmouth fly! Stripers, too.

Come on down!
Sweet tie
Thanks!
Nice simple fly. Thanks for sharing the video. What vice did you use in the video? It looks like an Anvil but I don’t recognize the vice jaw set up.
It is the Peak LIRS......for large hooks, it is unbeatable.
Awesome!
Thanks!
You are a master
Is there gonna be any live tying classes at feathercraft later this fall?
As of right now, I don't think so. I will be up there as soon as everything settles down, for sure.

Here you go!! www.feather-craft.com/item/th309/utc-utc-ultra-thread-210-denier/1.html
Awesome. What brand of craft fur is that? I know someone likely has asked but couldn't find it.
Hareline. Great stuff.

Спасибо за отличное видео !!!
Can we get the recipe for this one like you did for the others? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. I feel for beginners there could be more instructions as to why and what you do. Not a criticism just a suggestion. Love the fly.
Great video! What thread did you use?
210.....love that stuff.
That is one "crafty" pattern Brian. Sometimes the fishiest flies are the simplest.
Kapo
Step 1. Have UV resin... guess I can't tie this fly

Agreed. Resin is probably the most useful tool I use, next to a bobbin.
@@flyfishingtheozarks any affordable recommendations for a broke college student?
