Been a fan of Dice since 1989. I was 9 years old. Not even kidding. I stayed up the night he was on SNL and recorded it on VHS and let everyone borrow it until it disappeared.
Andrew Dice Clay is one of the best comics of all time. The best shtick ever. Bill Burr is currently my favorite comic too. I always watch some Dice if I'm in a down mood. He always gets me laughing. Thanks Dice.
When I was in the U.S.Army (Inf.) everyone black, white, yellow, brown, red loved Dice! Everyone!! That was in the late 80’s. We all imitated him. We all laughed at his jokes and skits. Then a few years later MTV bans him for life? What a bunch if hypocrites. He is a comical genius . He made fun of but still had a heart. He clearly didn’t deserve to be crapped on because he said what many felt but did it hilariously! I’d pay to see his live act any day of the year! He’s up there with the best of all time!
Every time I hear Sebastian do his whisper voice, I think of Andrew Dice Clay. Interesting to hear Dice mention it and that he and Sebastian discussed it apparently.
He sounds just like him in a few voices. Deff hear the inspiration. Its just voice & delivery. When u watch him he looks like Brian Reagan the way he moves around & makes faces. He almost a mash-up of the 2. The actual jokes are more BR style as well.
Back in the day, I never really cared for ADC, but seeing him in this interview, with the "Dice Man" persona turned off, he actually comes off like a decent guy
I only came across Dice a few days ago. Didn’t know he existed before then. Started watching his early stuff and he was like in your face tell you what I think. Ha ha what style.
Actually, if you watch the Dice interview with Larry King from 1990, he's the same exact way there too. Sometimes he's just more laid back in interviews. Especially with interviewers that he is comfortable with.
You know it's funny I had no idea sebastian opened for him and I always thought he was a little to dice. But... dice does alot of Italian mannerisms and sebastian is naturally Italian so there is that too none the less I agree with dice
" DICE " aged very well, also I knew before he said it years ago that he too loves Elvis Presley !! RIGHT ON Andrew ! From Nicky D' Pittsburg, Ca. ( age 55) Love and Respect !!
Wow, this is like the first time I ever saw Dice "out of character". This whole time, Dice was being played by an old jewish guy? Jeez, King is more intimidating than Dice. If I was working in an old folks home, and King and Dice were both residents, Id expect more problems from Mr King.
Andrew Dice Gay was his absolute funniest bit. "There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. I hate chicks, so I found a guy to swallow my goo! AGOOSH!"
I think Dice holds onto the fact that he was one of the first comedians to cross over into the mainstream and sell out stadiums. Now that Sebastian is the it boy, Dice feels he is responsible somewhat. The fact is, is that Sebastian is Italian as well. So of course they have a similar cadence. But Sebastian’s comedy is more intricate and “real world”.
The extra irony being..Dice talking about Sebastian's "cadence"..it's like, dude....Sebastian is ACTUALLY Italian....not just 'pretending' to be for the show, like Dice.
Dice likes to claim everyone stole a piece of his act, meanwhile in reality he stole from Kinison and everyone else from the comedy store. Gilbert Gottfried Dice is better than the real Dice. Facts.
@@JunkyardKid his jokes, period. If you saw Sam & Dice years ago you'd know that. @@JunkyardKid pit it this way, if Sam Kinison was never born, Dice wouldn't have ever become Dice. He'd have been a road comedian his whole career without ever selling out a stadium. Hey, I'm glad Dice is Dice, but the truth is the truth.
It felt like he was bragging a little bit when answering some of the questions: His encounter with Sinatra... his being too famous to live in Brooklyn after playing Madison Square Garden (which, by the way -- puh-leeze -- like he really couldn't have found SOMEPLACE to live in privacy in all of Brooklyn?!). And if these stories are any indication that he may have had some success back in the day, it can be noted, it was DEFINITELY short-lived. And that's a FACT! Only in recent years has he altogether been rescued from obscurity.
Who's the old guy? Can he at least wait till Dice finishes answering before asking another question? Dice doesn't need to do these cable access looking shows.
What is Dice talkin about? This Sebastian guy is nothing like him. Doesn't look like him, doesn't dress like him, doesn't act like him. Not only that he's Italian and dice is a Jewish guy.
You dopes. That's an iner-city New York accent, Brooklyn back then. Look at James Caan. The comment incites hate. These attitudes toward different cultures need to stop. But it wont happen in my lifetime.
Dices career has come to this? Larry King isnt on CNN anymore..this is an infomercial now at 3am...he "interviews" people hocking some crap...Guess Dice and Larry just throwing each other a Crumb...thought Dice had a Showtime show and Vegas...maybe he's doing Larry a favor for having him on when he was relevant.
dude use some fucking hair dye or dont wear all black that counter attacks your hair color. i went balding years ago, i shaved that shit off man lmao. i accepted defeat. i feel like im watching tv in black and white
Dice's left eye is gone lazy and off.....That is why for the sunglasses. His left eye is smaller now and vears off in a different direction from the other eye. He looks like he got kicked in the eye by a mule....
Dice's health gives some cause for concern, despite his tough guy image -- he had "some sort of retina problem" in his early fifties, before Blue Jasmine, which sounds an awful lot like diabetic detachment -- then, four years later (2017-ish), he downplayed a "pinched nerve artery thing" in Vegas, but, in fact, it was some sort of cardiac incident sufficient to put him into convalescence for months. He's 61 yrs old in this interview, and he's wearing those miles hard.
"I had a problem with his dress.codd and his cadence because he was trying to be too much like me" says the guy who entire career is trying to dress like and trying copy someone else
I can’t believe this guys is still doing the same stuff, he was great 20 years ago , he should know when to retire. Sebastian is an amazing current comedian.
He is so incredibly well spoken (to be expected obv), and he made me love him even more. He seems like a great guy
I think the same thing?
I could listen to Dice talk all day. His voice is so rythmic and in that New York way.
I like how his character is a bit intimidating but the actual guy is a sweet heart.
a tip: you can watch movies at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Josue Knox Yea, been watching on Flixzone for since november myself =)
