- Here's a simple way to Customize the Actions of the Keys on the Android TV remote. I did it with the OnePlus TV 43Y1 to get quick access to Settings that's missing in the remote.

One plus y1s doesn't have these kind of options . I don't have option to enable the accessibility for the button mapper app. It's like y1s setting completely different from y1

hey bro i will say You are making such great vids for us with these amazing apps i will Like it if you did a vid with remap and motion gestures which is by far 1 of the most powerful button remappers it is more powerful than button mapper with more stuff and all but id say button mapper works abit better with certain abilitys you can try it with an air mouse which is gonna have motion sensing if you can afford a remote which is cheap

Hey... The limitation is from OnePlus. They kept it as default. Feedback has been provided to change it, but not sure when they will do that. Temporary workaround is to keep tv in sleep instead of turn off. Hope this helps.

I have multiple Bluetooth devices which are paired with tv.. but at the time of connect the active Bluetooth device with tv i have to unpaire with tv & again pair it .. is there any option to connect.. means any tab for connect existing paired Bluetooth device ???
The issue is to disconnect already connected device to connect a new one. And Y series has that issue. It only gives unpair option. I am testing an app similar to Remote button mapper that gives a BT manager option.. not sure if it will work or not Y to disconnect instead of unpair as I don't have the Y series anymore. But you can try that app once I post the tutorial about it. Will be posting it soon

Hi turn off the TV and remove the power cable from behind of TV... Connect it back again after 30 mins and see if it helps.

Hey, if you turn off Bluetooth, you remote usage will be affected as the remote works on BT after TV turns ON. Even connect app might be affected. But if you are ok all those, you can check my latest video on tvQuickActions. That app will give an option to turn off BT.
@@IAmGizmogeek but sir remote has IR sensor also so I think blutooth will consume alot of battery so there should be way to turn it off ?
@@ashutoshavasekar2260 BT doesn't consume too much battery. If that's your only worry, then I would say don't. With IR you should always point the remote towards the IR sensor which won't be convenient and fast.

Hi.. You cannot change Aspect ratio on OTT apps or Android TV interface as it's not allowed by Apps. You can only do that with HDMI devices.

hey bro, My One plus Y1 series TV wifi is turned off through oneplus connect app and my remote is not working, tried to pair the remote again but no luck, now mobile app also not works due to wifi turned off in TV. do we have any tricks to turn on the Wifi in tv or do we have any option to reset the Tv without using the remote or app?
Hi... You can connect a mouse via USB and turn on wifi using it

Alternative route is to buy a 3rd party remote and use it.

That's strange. Is your remote faulty? It seems like the Google Assistant button is getting activated without touching it or is it because you mistakenly assigned google assistant to another button with the button mapper app?

Hey... You need to go into add button and then press Netflix button for it to be registered. Just like I did with Menu button in video. Did you do that?
Everything works fine, except for the fact volume buttons long press doesn't work.
As in if I enable button mapper, increasing the volume from 1 to 5, requires pressing the vol+ five times wherein without the mapper volumes increases continuously with long press.
What is the solution for this
Hi ... This is a limitation from Android TV OS. Any accessibility app would lead to this. Developers are looking for an option, but there's no solution as of now.

Hi... Your remote is not paired properly to the TV, that's the reason it's happening. Pair it first and use it.

Hey... You can try this.. turn off the TV and even remove the power cord and the turn ON the next day. If it still happens, you can raise a service request. I tried to gain the access to factory settings shortcut key combo but couldn't

@@bahaa3591 The OEM must have restricted the access to them. There's nothing you can do about it. There are ADB methods online, you can check if they help.

Hey .. the Y series TV remote has to be directly pointed to the bottom of the TV for starting as it works on IR before it starts.

@@AN1503-yash so remote should be facing directly towards TV when you want to turn TV ON. The IR reciever of TV is at bottom portion, so for communication you have to point towards it.

@@funzone6126 that's normal. You cannot change it with OTT APPS, that's how it's designed
