I'm sorry, but the most unintentionally comedic moment is Eren giving this big monologue speech about how he has to take Reiner down, only to get immediately one shot. Rage isn't going to get him through this. He has to calm down and use his head.
The anime actually cut out a segment which should've been in episode 4 of S1 where Annie decides to teach Eren some of her moves and they have a genuine bonding moment. I just love that even though she isn't currently in the story, she still has a role to play. Keep in mind, Annie was ranked 4th out of all the Cadets and that was with all of her slacking off and not playing well with others. Had she put her all into training, she definitely could've been either 2 or rivaled Mikasa for 1. Annie also took out Reiner like it was nothing during her training days. So that only puts into perspective how skilled she is.
Talk about Attack On Cliffhangers. Bertolt really tossed himself off the wall. Things aren't looking good for Eren. Mikasa came in and cut Reiner's ankles for the assist so he couldn't escape, and then Bert came in for his own assist of Colossal proportions.
Makes sense that would be a part they shorten. I guess the point is still driven home in the anime that she taught him some moves and Eren and co. really thought of her as a friend.
The one thing I didn't necessarily like about how they did the flashbacks for their soldier days, was that there always do that you remember that time yes that time. And I'm like what time you showed us two episodes and then they show a flashback like okay. I would prefer if they just showed a little bit of it and then later in the future come back to it and be like that but it felt so often that their soldier times were extremely relevant to everything with their character development I'm just like when did this happen
lm reactions>>>
Annie: literally fucking crystallizes herself to keep a secret
Riener: hey eReH funny story
🤣 the way spelled how he says his name is hilarious haha.
I can't believe this translation doesn't include my favourite line in the series: "Gimme that neck!!"
LM Reactions LMAOOOOOO love them too
LM reactions are great lol u right
The thing with big creatures is that they might look slow compared to their body but actually think about which moves faster in the grand scheme of things: A humans running speed or colossal's fist?
tbh, human's running is slower, but humans using ODM are way faster then the colossal can reacts, its just like when you try to hit down a fly when its flying around you, you basically cant hit them because they are too fast.
@@PanyikPatrik not necessarily. remember that flies have like a billion eyes so they have good reaction time. not to mention they have an exoskeleton, so getting a punch from a human is nothing for them.
the reason the scouts are able to outmaneuver the colossal titan is because of great reaction time and fast odm course direction change (altho in reality the G forces would tear you apart). also the colossal is way slower than it would be in reality, his movements in the show are like snail-like to what would happen at reality. if you take a look at videos of buildings falling you can see how fast it actually should be in practice.
LM Reactions shoutout
I love LM reactions too ❤️❤️❤️
About why Annie, Reiner and Berthold were teaching Eren martial arts, it's because at this time they didn't know he was a titan
only Annie was
@@dtmt502 I mean we saw that Reiner was also traningwith Eren, so I would not be suprised if Bert also because, we know that Bert have some suprise
Yup, they wouldn't have taught him otherwise
14:41 This was gold 😂😂😂
No translation will ever be as good as “Gimme that neck..”
Dude has checked his phone 6 times in the first 9 minutes of the video. Are you reacting or playing tag on your phone bro? annoying
Dude yourphone is distracting AFFFFFFFFFFFFF, for you and us. SHEESH! You'll live bro.... you will live without it for 30 minutes christ almighty.
5:17 "i doubt anyone in history of mankind has ever done anything as horrible as what you two did."
OOOH the irony
One of my favorite directed episodes! Love the martial arts inclusion and the transition from the flashback to the current time. Love your reaction as always
the black guy who knows the show must have the best poker face
James not saying a word in the discussion is hilarious
james' face while the other 3 throw up "random" ideas 😂
12:46 Tae (Foot) Kwon (Hand) Do (Art) was developed during the 1940s and 1950s by various Korean martial artists as a blend of the indigenous Korean fighting styles of taekkyeon, gwonbeop, and subak, with influence from foreign martial arts, such as karate and Chinese martial arts. Taekwondo uses powerful, linear techniques like those of Karate while retaining the fluid, circular motions of Kung Fu. Very similar to what is basically its more traditional cousin, Tang Soo Do, which incorporates a combination of subak (Soo Bahk Do), Taekkyon, and Chinese martial arts, yet borrows very heavily from Shotokan Karate.
The Father of American Taekwondo is Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee who was trained directly by Choi Hong Hi, the South Korean army general who was the “principle founder” of Taekwon-Do as credited by the Encyclopedia Britannica. As a founding member of the south Korean Army, Choi taught martial arts to the soldiers assigned to him from 1946. He named Taekwondo and promoted it endlessly as the Korean Martial Art of Self Defense. Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee, after coming to America in the 1950s, befriended Bruce Lee and introduced the celebrated martial artist to Tae Kwon Do.
My Grandmaster actually met and trained with Grandmaster Rhee. My Grandmaster teaches a mix of martial arts tho, using Boxing & Taekwondo as a base (and no, not ITF nor WTF taekwondo) as those are his base, and mixing in judo, jiujitsu, and some others later down the line when you’ve got your basics down pact. Only thing we’re missing to be considered an mma gym is wrestling and a cage 😂 but he knows he’d have to charge an outrageous amount if he started doing all that, and we’re in a poor area, plus have to hire someone to teach/demonstrate it bc he’s old. He can kick like lightning and hit you with a jab you won’t even see but wrestling is too strenuous for his age and he’s all fast twitch muscle fibers. But even in his 80’s, that man moves likes Mighty Mouse (Demetrius Johnson). It just blows my mind to see him move like he does, the fact he’s still sparring. Man has to have some secret no one knows. This man trained my grandmother when she was in her 20’s, & man still looks like he’s 49 in great shape.
You can do it, James. Activate your ni-poker-jutsu-face XD
lm reactions no.1 lol
