I love these projects' design and aesthetic, but what about the "grey energy"? Many companies advertise co2-neutrality but projects of such a big scale have massive amounts of grey energy. "Grey energy" is the energy that the building already has used for example during the fabrication of the materials or the transport. If people only see the "green" aspects (green roofs for example), they will get a narrow view of true sustainability. The sustainability end result depends on how long a building remains. If people really think about what necessary is and what is not, and in addition to that use local sustainable materials, the future of architecture will be great.
Muy bonitos todos los diseños. Los que van a sufrir será a los ingenieros estructurales y a los albañiles y soldadores Para construir estos sueños. No toman en cuenta el impacto en la vida salvaje en algunos diseños

Such great futuristic future concepts! Haha. Now, seriously, most of these are awful and dystopian and only look good in the sanitized low detail CGI rendition. And they will not age well. The future belongs to a return to principles of traditional architecture in terms of detail, symmetry, material use, gentle density etc. Not necessarily in a rehashing of past style, though they are certainly better than what we have now, as anyone who has seen the old time skyscrapers can attest. We can make new styles. But these ugly things here can only be appreciated piecemeal, or from an engineering standpoint, or through the gimmick attraction, or by people who have been specifically trained/indoctrinated to see their details, like professional architects.
That is nothing compared to what God has planned. A city formed as a cube, fifteen hundred miles height, length, and width the same. Compared to the city of God, even the most spectacular building endeavor of man, is nothing but a child's game, just like a drone or an airplane is nothing compared to a real bird.

Royalmount mega project in Montreal is a natural concept sense of community where all you need is within 15 minutes walk ... grocery, cinema, arts , spa , housing , offices , restaurants etc everything in Montreal is aesthetic and built for humans ... not the case for Toronto with highways , cars , bland urban planning and all the same architecture and no sense of community
Build underground, no floods, no cold, no extreme heat, no extreme weather of any kind would affect you. Give the surface back to nature, not that much harder to build down than up, just different challenges.
These concepts always look great in model form and from an aerial view, but when you look at them as a human on the ground, these buildings and concepts are completely out of scale and are not even visible in their overall form.
stop flat building ,it take to much place ,how you can build this in metropoles like china and india .its only good for small population .but its nice project
I want to see a return in pre-war architecture and so do most people. Modern architecture is so bland and has an obsession of trying to stick out like a sore thumb.

That's what they said about 2020 in 1980s
Really?
There are places that already look similar to this in Asia and other places .....travel...
well that's because 1980s was still stuck to concrete and bricks 💀
we've gotten so far and you think we won't in another 40-50 years? 💀
for these to materialize that has to be zero corruption.

When Odessa is reunified with Russia they could still probably build it, as a matter of fact there's a higher chance they'll build it

Probably just 100 year or Some Years earlier and then got demolish
