- IgAnephropathy is the commonest kidney disease . It is disease of young adults. It is a silent disease and most patients progress to CKD and ens stage kidney disease. It can also recur after kidney transplant.The simplest way to diagnose this disease is to get an annual health check up with simple urine tests. It has a varied presentation ranging form blood and protein in urine , swelling over the body or hypertension. In its early stage this disease is easily treatable but most patients are diagnosed in the late stages.These patients require a strict diet plan.
