You guys had an opportunity to make an incredible video displaying all the sounds which is what most of us want to hear. You only showed a few of the techno sounds. A video with a rundown of the kits would be great!
Great video, but the image you used for the old SPD-SX software is not the one that comes with the unit, you used a screenshot of "SPD-SX Editor", a great but not free third party software that works way better than the included SPD-SX Wave Manager from Roland.

You went through the trouble to set up a hihat and didnt demo it?
To be fair they went to the trouble of filming the review after spending 5 minutes with it out of the box. Neither of them looked at the software but still manage to waste 30 seconds of the video on the topic.
I understand that you can load samples on this unit, but can you use it to record and then manipulate your samples?
Can you tell more about the real-time quantize?
I can't seem to find any information about how to use it :)

I bought spd sx pro couple of days ago. Im using SPD sx for several years. However, navigating SPD sx pro seems complex. I couldn't find some important feature yet. Kindly answer or send video link:
1. How to do tempo mach for different loops?
2. How to sync kit tempo for loops?
3. How to do wave edit (star and end) quickly?
I called reseller, Roland Canada, checked Roland backstage. Got No answer yet.
SPD-SX has 2 effect control knobs and 4 quick effect select buttons, this PRO version only one Master FX knob and only one effect on / off button. Why?

it has two control knobs and a select button to choose what you want them to be.

1, chop sounds like exporting record part and chop the parts to the pads by hitting them?

@@zakkmarks6040 Bugger.. I’ve done that with major items on 3 occasions in the past. Something told me to hold off with this a little longer because they had some completion with the Alesis Strike Multipad…
Same here! I've been eyeing the SPD SX for a couple months, and thought "We are ten years in and due for a refresh, I'll wait a few more months" and boom here we are!

Is there a looper onboard? As in can you record a drum beat pattern live and have it continuously cycle around straight away
no. You'll need a looper pedal for that
