Mike was the "straight " character as the Americans would say.The whole group are a rep. of the nuclear family.Neil is the Mum,Vyvian and Rick squabbling brothers and Mike is the Dad.
Rest in peace Rick gone but his legacy lives on through his comedy brilliance.
