Thank you for the great video. I adore Shizuoka, but it breaks my heart to see so few people out and about on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I was there before Covid, and I remember seeing so many people out on the weekends, especially near Gofukucho-dori. I look forward to visiting this great city again.
It was my first walk in Shizuoka and I don't know what it was like before COVID-19. Maybe I should visit again some day after the COVID-19 is over and shoot another video when Shizuoka is back in full energy! 😄
Watching this with my children showing them where I used to live for 2 years. It brought back some beautiful memories of this place. The park is gorgeous all year round but is amazing during cherry blossom viewing time and Daidogei. Thank you so much for this video! ❤
I understand what you mean. People from Tokyo tend to skip Shizuoka and go to Nagoya. Actually I was one of them too. But I instantly liked Shizuoka in this trip. 😄
Shizuoka looks like a nice place. The manhole cover was good. Japan has lots of different and interesting manhole covers in the different cities. Here in the UK they are all the same.
These days each prefecture has its own design for manhole cover and you can find one in every tourist spot. I think it's subtle but a fun way to boost tourism. 😄

Would like a nighttime video of it even during the holidays at night. Just be careful of the ninja 🥷 watching you at night in the castle .
