My golden girl isn’t afraid of thunder or fireworks which makes me happy. She don’t care for the handheld vacuum but don’t think she’s scared. My pup loves the car and putting her head out the window.
Our Golden Furbaby LOVES the car... in fact she throws a fit if I get in the car without her!!! She pokes her head as far forward as the car-protector lets her... in fact, her face is right beside mine... only her restraints prevent her from jamming her nose against the front windshield. The faster the better... she's a speed freak!!!
My 16 weeks puppy LOVES the truck! Sometimes he doesn’t want to get out. I think it’s his happy place. New smells, windows partially down and loves riding. Plus I think he knows we are going somewhere fun every time. We put a smaller than usual kennel in the backseat for trips outside of town and he still rides great. We also were purposely loud around him when he was younger. Vacuum, dishwasher, ice maker, garage door, noisy kids, tv, music. He could care less now. I’m glad we didn’t hold anything back. He could and would sleep through a fireworks show if it’s past 8 PM he’s done! And the vet knows ALL this they have cheese and peanut butter and lots of treats I think it’s his favorite place to go. He isn’t scared at all. We also purposely played with ears, face, tail, and feet. All of us so handling them is a breeze. He’s not a fan of nail clippings but tolerates it every other week.
Please do a video on the best equipment to use for walks and outings . I use a kurgan harness with a handle on it. But have been told I am encouraging pulling. He does pretty well but would a different method be better?
I have a 16 week old golden, I got her at 8 weeks old. The first thing I got her use to was the vacuum & gun shots, doesn't bother her, after all they are bird dogs. She is going to be great & help keep deep freeze filled, 😁
My dog actually loves the vet... and I think is a mix of making her used to human touch by brushing her twice a day and having an amazing vet who even has support dogs on site and keep my baby entertained while waiting and get "nose to nose" when they are about to take my dog's temperature or inject. That makes her forget what is going on in a blink of an eye ;)
My golden retriever gets really angry when I blow dry him. He's almost 2 years old now, still can't keep him calm. Now I have to caged him and blow while he's in the cage but still angry. Please help me how to do it properly.
My golden loves riding in the car, but he refuses to jump in himself. He just looks at me waiting for me pick him up and put in my like I was end up doing
We used to take our golden girl to Stacy the groomer and one day she wasnt done with the previous grooming maddie jumped up on the table and pushed her off. I guess she thought it was her turn now! Huñdreds of funny tales, get one!
Okay so I know that this is not related to the video but once my terrier snapped at another dog and then walked back to my dad acting as if the dog had snapped at HER. This little girl is the worst.
No you need to expose them to load sounds early thats why dogs are always scared because you baby them from it and then rely on you my dog not scared of any thunder or fireworks

My Golden boy is over 2 years olds, he loves my voice to read him the poems and always fell asleep while listening 😊

Yeah even I noticed that my Goldie isn’t afraid of fireworks. On her first Diwali, she would actually run towards the source of sound to investigate.

I would recommend a harness that has a front clip for the leash it will discourage pulling, I use one from amazon the brand is icefang
@@davidkellner7372 thanks, will try it

We use a dremel to keep our GR nails trimmed.

My golden loves it because attention + food
My 14 week old is perfectly fine with fireworks… thunder/lightning… the vet… but the dreaded balloon is his nemesis.
These fears are in no way specific to Goldens. These are true of ALL dogs.

my dog likes the vet and the groomer😅
Our golden was scared of pictures. One fell off the wall and whenever we changed our pictures he would leave.

Are Golden Retrievers known to be afraid of loud music?
My Golden boy doesn’t mind my loud music but he hates the vacuum 😆
Not if it's good old rock n roll.
Maybe if you get her used to you playing with their feet this hriped us quit a bit.
How is not baby them when showering them treats and a good vibe is opposite lol what are you talking about
No meds for no stop that immediately and do not inspire anyone to do that ever
i think i am the one who has sepration ingsedy
The minute I heard you say meds for dogs I know you are not a channel for me to watch if you think it's okay to give dogs meds we have a problem.
relax
I got lucky I got a vet that comes to my house
