Thank you. There are tons of reviews but not many on the smaller size box and what kind of containers fit in it if you're not a sandwich guy. This was helpful.
@@hoohoohoblin the the old Stanley thermoses are unbeatable too. I saw a comparison and thermoses from the '60s kept stuff hotter then the newer ones. It was very interesting to see that
I have the large one. I HATE the plastic handle! Everything else is perfect. I can't stand that they didn't use a metal handle. I keep looking for a replacement.
Buy the classic black plastic Alladin that looks like that and then the model 2264s stainless steel King Seely thermos that fits in the lid . They were made for each other and in my openion nothing beats that King .
@@WonderlandSystemO1 25 Oz like the wizard . King Of The Seal Is The Sizzle . Blackbox rules . although the all steel classic is pretty nice . I've got two of em . Nice like a maglite .
I have the big one. LOVE IT!!! I carry it to work every day, and it holds enough for 2 days if you pack it right.
I’m really happy that they still make these. It’s such a classic design.

You’re welcome
I love mine. I use the LunchBlox system of food containers and freeze blocks. It's as though they were made for this lunch box.
Thanks. I’ll have to take a look at those. It’s an odd shape.
I love these old lunch boxes!
Me too! I really like the sounds it makes. These old lunchboxes were so loud! I’m glad they still make them.

Thanks!!!

Is the large too large?
@@jb3152 no. It is perfect IMO.
How durable is it? I need something durable but would also like it to offer some insulation.
It’s reasonably tough, but not super strong. It’s made of thin steel. They really should make an insulated liner for it.
The thermos holder IS SO LOUD and the handle is as well.
Do you know what I should do?
True. Enjoy the sound. The thermos holder is removable.

Hwere you get these from?
I try to order but avaliable nowhere
Also at stanley....
I bought it on Amazon. There’s a link in the description. I don’t know if they’re out of stock at the moment or not. They make a few different sizes.
I ordered one from Walmart about 2 or 3 years ago .
What thermos did you put on top?
I don’t know. I’ve had that one for years, and it doesn’t have any namebrand on it. It’s some kind of generic thermos.
Try a model # 2264 s King Seely Thermos . Nothing beats the King . They're prized possessions all over the world . Kind of like # 747 staplers .

You don't even have a Stanley thermos to go with the lunchbox ?? What a poser! I'm calling Stanley and putting files on you!
You’re right. I need to get one of those bed.
😆
But it isn’t insulated
True. This thing is very primitive. I think they should make an insulated liner for it.
